The location of the home was walking distance to the beach and the boardwalk. We really enjoyed the quiet neighborhood. The food in surrounding area was a "10". You could get any cuisene you were looking for. Some of the top cuisene we had even compared to the Aruba were at Oaxaka, GG's, and Oliva's. We walked to the beach every day to burn a few calories.

We rented bikes as a family and rode the boardwalk. We even took a drive to South Beach in Miami and the boardwalk in Hollywood is a 10 compared to an 8 at South Beach.

The layout for a family is perfect. Everyone had their own bathroom. The masterbed was not comfortable, it really needs an upgrade along with the bed linens.

I would make a few changes to the house. The pool is not heated and is very cold, as it is in the shade. A heated pool would be top on my list, as we could not use the pool, even tough it was a beautiful pool. We had no wine opener, 2 forks, and a few odds and ends but we purchased them for future guests.

The location of the property was convenient and the property manager was friendly and available.
There were some areas of concern though.
The house wasn't ready for over an hour past the check in time. The property manager was however accommodating and did let us in the property while cleaning.
The lock was getting replaced as we arrived and should have been taken care beforehand.
The oven was not working and although the property manager did offer a small credit, it was an inconvenience that we didn't expect or were prepared for. We were looking forward to cooking our holiday meals but were unable to.
The wall sockets in 1st bedroom were not working properly which meant we didn’t have sufficient lighting in that bedroom.
It would be good to have a chest of drawers in that bedroom
There was no vacuum cleaner in house which was surprising as we like to keep the house clean. There was no dust collection pan either.
An iron should have been provided.
House was generally maintained but few things indicated that it was not very well maintained to the standard we should expect based on rental charged
There were a few areas of concern:
Examples:
The dryer door cover had cracks and was taped up. The door remained somewhat open whilst drying. This was somewhat unacceptable considering it’s a property that has a pool.
Bathrooms upkeep:
Bathrooms needs to be maintained better.
The front lawn was not well kept as depicted in the pictures. However, location of the property is good.
The property manager was nice and was available.
Overall, it was an average experience and if some of these problems are addressed and fixed for the future, it would have been a much more pleasant experience.

An appliance tech is scheduled to fix the oven and dryer door; we have provided a dustpan; the wall sockets are working properly after a GFI reset; we are discussing landscaping possibilities with the owner.
