We loved the location, between Semiamoo and also downtown Blaine, WA. Older home updated with a nice large deck. Very clean.

An excellent spot to lay low and relax for a few days.

Such a cute house, perfect for a family getaway! The house was immaculately clean, and well stocked for our needs. As others have mentioned, there were a handful of spices and cooking oil available in the kitchen, a unique bonus for a short-term rental. The views don't disappoint, and having a small yard and nice deck enabled our family to enjoy playtime between adventures. I especially appreciated not having a TV on the main floor, what more could you want than the outstanding view?!

The house was clean and right on the water as advertised. It was close to everything you need. The host left us a cool rose pedal and candle arrangement for Valentine’s Day. Don’t hesitate to stay here it was awesome.

Love this property. Close to everything but feels like worlds away. The perfect place to relax and unwind. Stellar views. Although we had no sunshine the setting was magical.
All the comforts of home but in a non fuss esthetic.
Love it and will definitely come back.

First of all.. the view of the bay is spectacular. Very calming, very relaxing. This is truly a great home to stay in for anyone who needs some quiet time to decompress, relax, de-stress. Plus, Vacasa is on hand for any needs regarding the house and they are willing to get answers as needed immediately.

The home was attractively and comfortably appointed. Well equipped kitchen and modern appliances. The only shortcoming was there was no tv on the main view floor. For elderly gursts the lower level windowless ares was not suitable. Otherwise everything was delightful.

We enjoyed our stay at this house in a fabulous area and with amazing views of the bay and the mountains. The deck is a relaxing spot to enjoy a morning coffee or a relaxing dinner.

The downside is that when the tide goes out, it is far away from the dock, not allowing access to the water without a long slog through mucky silt. This is not a knock on the house itself just a heads up to others who are coming with a kayak or paddle board like we did.

view, decor was nice. The basement had a terrible smell and we could not use it. They were using an air freshener to disguise the musty smell.

If you're going for the views alone this is the spot - the pictures really don't lie. But there is much to be improved in the advertising, maintenance, and assistance from Vacasa. While kayaks are listed, the oars are unavailable. Responses from Vacasa were mixed: I emailed (heard nothing), called (got equivalent of a shrug; was promised a call back that never happened). But when I texted I heard back immediately. However, the Vacasa rep wasn't able to do anything about the fact that the house had one roll of toilet paper, no detergent for the washing machine, no coffee for the Keurig. Poorly equipped place but a beautiful view.
Manager response:
Hi, Ralina! We appreciate your feedback and are so glad you stayed with us. Since your reservation we have hired a Local Operations Manager to assist in running things smoothly. The owner does not provide coffee pods for the Keurig, and kayaking is available at this home though kayaks themselves are not provided. Thank you!

Staying at Harbor Hideaway was absolutely fantastic. It was a beautiful location, and the house itself was great too. The only thing I would change about the home would be a kitchen setup that makes more sense (and be sure to bring what you want spice and kitchen items wise, it's pretty sparse). Kayaks are available, but the oars are locked in a closet, so not sure how you're supposed to use them. But overall, a good place to stay for a little beach getaway.
Manager response:
Thank you for your review, Christopher. We are happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay with us. To clarify, the kayaks are not advertised as an amenity available for our guests. The kayaks are for the owner's personal use. We apologize for the confusion. We hope to have the opportunity to host you again soon!

This property was amazing! Just as expected! The check in process was easy and check out was smooth with options for late check out.

All items work properly including heaters, linens we're clean, and bedroom/bathroom was clean. Grill was in working condition so that was bonus. Definitely a good place for 4 people. It allows for 5 but keep in mind there is only one bathroom, so "timing" is everything!

There was a gas station less than 5 minutes away and the people there was super nice. We stopped by Fred Meyers prior to arriving so just small trips to gas station was necessary.

There were some but not much seasonings so bring your own if that's your thing.

They only had Kurieg coffee maker, not regular pot ones so we bought grinds and had to be creative.

The view was amazing and water was peaceful. We'd definitely recommend this for weekend get away. Will consider return in summer time.
