Gorgeous modern home with expansive deck and mountain views

Relax by the fireplace or breathe in the fresh mountain air at this spacious Sagle vacation rental. An expansive deck affords picture perfect views of the majestic environs and the two bedrooms (and loft!) boast plenty of space to get some shuteye. This home is the perfect family-friendly retreat.

Situated in a secluded section of town, you're mere moments from the edge of the Lake Pend Oreille, where you can enjoy a shared semi-private beach, and the heart of Sandpoint is less than six miles away.

This gorgeous mountain abode relaxes and soothes everyone who enters. The living room offers lots of natural light, thanks to the floor-to-ceiling windows and high ceilings. Gaze out onto the blue water from the expansive couch as you relax in front of the gorgeous wood fireplace.

Hardwood floors abound throughout living and dining area although you will spy a Persian rug or two. Head out onto the deck to savor the sunrise and a wake-me-up cup of coffee. A gas grill is provided for dinner under the stars and a loft area above the living room offers a fantastic view.

An open floor plan extends into the dining area and kitchen. Savor a delicious dinner at the six-seat dining table or a hearty breakfast at the four-seat breakfast bar. The gourmet kitchen will delight any home chef worth his weight in salt as it boasts a plethora of luxurious amenities, from a 10-burner stainless steel gas range to a massive island for elaborate meal preps. A dishwasher makes post-dinner clean up a breeze.

Guests have their choice of comfortable beds and with three full baths, nobody will be jockeying for space in the morning. You'll also have a futon for extra accommodation. This home is perfect for up to seven adults or nine guests if some of them are small children who don't mind snuggling.

Stay connected via the free WiFi and clean your clothes after a day of activity at the provided washer and dryer. The TV offers a DVD player as well as satellite TV.

Sagle is a small town not far from Sandpoint. With a truly get-away-from-it-all feel, it's one of the best kept secrets in Northern Idaho. That doesn't mean there's a dearth of things to do - hiking and biking are popular activities as is swimming and kayaking. There are also nearby attractions like Silverwood Theme Park, skiing on Schweitzer Mountain, and Sandpoint's many options for shopping and dining.

Secluded and inviting, this Idaho vacation rental offers the perfect refuge from the daily grind on the shared, private beach.

No 4x4 is needed to access the home through the spring, summer and fall months.

House is spacious and provides everything one could need. The kitchen is wonderful for baking and cooking. As other reviewers noted, the hot water had a sulfur smell, but it was fine for a vacation. We found the road easily passable, but we live on a dirt road ourselves. As dirt roads go, it is very well maintained. The location is secluded and about 15 min from Sandpoint, but that's what we wanted. If you don't want to be secluded, don't say here. The private beach at the bottom of the hill (5 min drive) was a lovely perk. We went twice and had the beach to ourselves both times.

Vacasa was easy to book with. Trish with Vacasa was very responsive when issues arose.

This cabin has everything that one could ever need in a vacation home! Once we unpacked our belongings we all settled down on the deck that seemingly goes on for days and enjoyed the views of Lake Pend Oreille, Sandpoint, Schweitzer and the surrounding hills. We spent a lot of time out there watching all the wildlife, countless birds, rabbits, deer and even a moose! We enjoyed seeing all the stars at night as well. When we weren't on the deck, we were inside taking full advantage of the chefs kitchen where many amazing meals were created. We had a great time and the manager was very helpful and accommodating. We'll be back for sure!

Lake and mountain views with privacy but still close to town. We loved the large kitchen and living area. The beds were comfy and we had everything we needed. Trish was very responsive to any questions we had.

The most comfortable home my family has ever stayed at. The beds, bedding, and even the amazing couch ere so comfortable, that it was hard to get up and get going everyday. The huge stove and kitchen were great for dinnertime as well. WiFi was great, and the movie selection was impressive. The road up is borderline insane, but once there, fantastic home.

Thank you for a wonderful vacation. The property was everything we had hoped and more. We spent our days at the private community beach and our evenings on the porch taking in the fabulous view. We prepared all of our meals for the entire visit in the gourmet kitchen. There was plenty of space for our two families and three kids.

The house is beautiful with great views of the lake and downtown Sandpoint. We did and few hikes and enjoyed seeing the turkeys and deer that are on and around the property.

This is a beautiful home with a beautiful view. Probably not the best location with little kids because it has an uncarpeted and open staircase, but would definitely recommend it for a relaxing weekend in the forest. Didn't notice any sulfar smell in the water like others reported. I thought the water was fine.

Loved the view and the amenities

We had a great time at this rental and loved the open floor plan where we could spend time together and prepare meals together. We would definitely come back and stay here again.

The home is very nice and comfortable but the one mile road up is mostly dirt not gravel and very steep in places. You need to bring your own water as the water smells and tastes of sulfur. Very unpleasant when showering due to this smell.

We are sorry to see that there was an unpleasant odor during this stay; we will do our best to get rid of it.

My family and I enjoyed spending two nights. It was so amazing house and view. The only thing that we don't like was the hot water has a sulfur smell that can be hard to use. Also, the road was tough especially without 4X4 vehicle. Overall, I highly recommended it.

Beautiful place to stay! Had everything that it said it had.
A heads up...Some of the light switches have a dimmer switch right along the switch itself.
The sound carries because of the high ceilings! That was not good! Even running the water was noisy and trying to talk quietly was real tough.

The Eagle Crest house was beautiful, clean, and well furnished. The view from the deck was spectacular, and the drive up the winding hill didn't bother us (be sure to have 4WD/AWD). Only a 12 minute drive to the heart of downtown Sandpoint. Quiet dirt road for great walks, cozy fireplace for cold nights, & tons of natural light. The hot water has a sulfur smell that can be hard to shower with, but otherwise didn't bother us.

We enjoyed a last minute get-away to this beautiful home high upon the mountain. We are from the country, therefore, the location access did not bother us. It is a beautiful home, and the view was amazing. Open floor plan was great for our family, and the home had everything we needed to enjoy some relaxing family time together. Everything was just as pictured.
