We had a great stay here. Loved the fireplace, hot tub and full kitchen. Only 2 things bothered us.

- Hot tub has no shelter so you’ll get rained or snowed on during use. Luckily I saw this in the pics and brought a dome cover so it worked ok.
- Mandatory $90 cleaning fee. Places we’ve stayed at in the past hold a deposit unless you don’t clean up and we prefer this since it’s just me and my GF.

Other than that it’s a nice getaway and do recommend staying here if you’re going up to the mountain.

Loved the clean house!
Suzie M. Dec 2018
Our family of 4 enjoyed the home throughly! We loved the space, the tall ceilings, the hot tub, and the games/toys avail for the whole family to enjoy together. The drive up to the ski resorts were within 20-30 minutes and within it's vicinity there are enough stores and family-fun restaurants that are very special and dear to experience. The cabin provided everything we needed--toiletries, towels, and paper goods. It was a very pleasant experience and a great value to note when staying at our next snow trip!

The outdoor hot tub is heaven!
Jody H. Dec 2018
Plenty of parking, beautiful outdoor space, local coffee and dining. Plus there is a local car service to take you up to the mountains. We can’t wait to visit again.
Alicia H. Nov 2018
All of it
Nathan L. Sep 2018
This cabin is very comfortable with plenty of space to relax. The wifi is quick enough, and everything else is kept well maintained and even some food was stocked. My wife and I visited and both have dietary issues, but there was plenty of space to prepare and make food. We had a great time!
Jenny C. Sep 2018
This was perfect for our stay near the Mt. Hood area. The house is off a small dirt road fit for any type of car and equipped with pretty much anything you need for your stay. The outdoor hot tub was the highlight of the property. Nice addition and great for soaking in after a long hike. I would highly recommend this place for a couple or a family/larger group.
Kristin P. Sep 2018
We really enjoyed our time at this cabin. We went with our family from Texas . We bbqed , sat in the hot tub , and went for hikes. Also , there is a cabinet full of games under the TV. We had tons of fun playing outburst. The river was very close and all the neighbors were very nice . I highly recommend this place and look forward to staying here again.
Shara S. Aug 2018
Loved the openness and the kitchen was fun to cook in. Hot tub was very relaxing.
John A. Aug 2018
Nice roomy house and a good location to visit the area.
Heidi S. Jun 2018
The house was perfect for our party of four. The yard, fire pit and hot tub added to the idyllic setting. Definite pride of ownership shows through with this lovely home.

Unfortunately, I had major issues with the third party, VaCasa, who wouldn’t answer the phones and didn’t respond to me until 6 1/2 hours after my plea for help to get access into the house when the codes we were given failed to open for us.
Manager response:
We're very very sorry the guest was unable to contact us via the phone when they arrived. During the summer, Fridays are our busiest day and we ask for our guests' patience when waiting on hold. We also have other means to contact us through our local manager's phone number and with email, info@vacasa.com. Thank you.
Andrew G. May 2018
Instant response from owner! Awesome neighbors!
Dominion B. May 2018
The cabin is emersed in nature. The sound of flowing river in the area creates a calming ambiance. A canopy of vibrant stars pepper the sky in the dead of night. And the amenities adds to the experience by providing a hot tub, internet, fireplace inside and outside, and cable television. The cabin is versatile for nature goers or modern networkers.
Jenifer S. Apr 2018
House had everything we needed. Very relaxing and quiet. LOVED the hot tub. We will definitely be going back!!
Danielle L. Feb 2018
Planned on using the grill and it didn't work. Stove doesn't work well either.
Manager response:
We inspected both the grill and stove and found both working. We wish the guest had contacted us for assistance with these matters.
Robyn A. Feb 2018
Great cabin, nice and clean! Hot tub is super fun. Family-friendly.
Tim M. Jan 2018
We really enjoyed are stay at cabin. Very nice place.
Taylor B. Nov 2017
This was a perfect weekend getaway . Did lots of cooking and lazing around and not much else. Beautiful spot for it.
Gregory S. Sep 2017
Its a very nice property for the price. Very clean, easier to find than you would think, listening to the river pretty relaxing in the front yard, the hot tub was a spot on amenity. There were only two very minor things that I would do to make this VRBO better and safer. The BBQ grill needs replacement (low flame, doesn't burn hot enough to cook much and the make shift steps leading down to the sitting are behind the house are sketchy. I would definitely stay here again, because I am confident the two things that bothered us will be taken care of pretty easily. P.S. we had a blast with the Guinness Book of World Records and Ripley's Believe it or Not - that was an unexpected bonus that provided a few good laughs.

Good place

A Lovely house!!
Jennifer S. Aug 2017
I've stayed in many rentals in the Mt Hood area and have always had wonderful experiences. But upon reserving this property (unfortunately for a last minute trip so I was unable to cancel my reservation) I received an email from Vacasa with a long list of Do's and Don'ts including how to park at this location! Also the pictures are very deceiving and there is another home within 10 feet of the driveway. The kitchen supplies are minimal at best and include melted plastic spatulas/pancake flipper, and very chipped plates and bowls. The oven is electric and when l started to use it the main large front jet wasn't plugged in, then we discovered why...it was broken! The ceiling fan in the living room didn't turn on, there were no spa towels in the "spa towel closet", and there's a discarded hot tub on the side of the house. Seriously, do not be fooled by the pictures. Details really make a house a home and a stay more convenient for guests (pot holders anyone??); this home is only a rental to make a quick buck. I didn't even mention the treacherous back steps, and the garbage left out front from the last renters...
Manager response:
We are disappointed to read this review. The neighbor is 30 feet away and very much keeps to herself. We double-checked the kitchen supplies and found everything in good condition except for a couple of plates. We have ordered more pot holders to enrich the number there. We were unable to find anything wrong with the stove, but we will keep an eye on it. We have several fans for guest use as well as a new ceiling fan on order. The hot tub had just been replaced with a new one, and the old one that was at the side of the house is now gone. We will remind housekeeping to fully stock the hot tub closet with hot tub towels and to schedule additional trash pick-up when needed. Thank you!
Emily W. Jun 2017
This was the perfect location for our retreat from Portland - close enough for a weekend away and all the luscious natural surroundings we were looking for. The river is just a stroll away, and cold, but so quiet and serene. We prioritized having two bathrooms and a hot tub, and I'm really happy we found this place. It was a lovely set up for us - Indoor and outdoor fireplaces and a generally open layout with a kitchen bar and high ceilings; it was just enough space to keep everyone happily together.
Jon S. Jun 2017
Beautiful mountain getaway. We enjoyed the hot tub.
Tamar D. Jun 2017
The bed was small and uncomfortable, and the lack of any covered areas outside made it unusable in the rain, but the cabin was cozy.
Karen B. Jun 2017
The cabin itself is a nice structure with nice light lots of room. The accommodations seemed rough. The lamps need an upgrade so you can actually read by them. Tbe curtains could be more discrete.
Alyssa P. May 2017
Perfect!
Thomas H. May 2017
Here is what my wife I think about the cabin:
Generally, it was a dump.
* No working internet. It began working on the morning of our 3rd day....as we were leaving.
* barely functioning hot tub. One jet. 4 pieces were laying on a shelf.
* bathroom heaters not functional;
* washer and dryer not functioning;
* the yard is horribly grabagy, showing no pride in the property: Heating oil tanks, stack of 2x6s, a pile of freshly cut brush, landscaping materials, 10-year old firewood, etc. They need a dump truck to take out all that and the hot tub.
* no wood for the fire pits (but I was told I could buy some....smh);
* couch smells so bad that we placed a sheet over it;
* cobwebs in the windows/ceiling;
* inadequate drapes on windows to protect one's privacy;
* inadequate privacy for hot tub;
* outdoor chairs haven't been cleaned in years. They were gross;
* sidewalk blocks around hot tub were falling away....dangerous!!

Then....none of the reviews we read were negative. This place has obviously been ignored for years. I wouldn't live here, and wouldn't spend one night here. A really nice man did come by and his dog Fernando, and helped some. He said, "I'm going to give you some money back," we agreed on a price, and I told him, "You give me that, and I won't put a negative review online." His manager agreed to 40% of that refund, so I am posting the truth about the property.
Won't stay with Vacasa again. They obviously don't care about the properties they rent.
Manager response:
We appreciate the feedback and will do our best to respond to each concern mentioned. The internet was a provider issue that was resolved during this reservation; the jet heads in the hot tub are broken off, but it still surges water and the jets have knobs to adjust the pressure; a new bathroom heater has been ordered and should be installed by mid-May; the washer and dryer have not been advertised for some time now and will be advertised again once we are confident they are repaired well; the debris in the yard will be burned once the weather has dried it all out; the owner of this home does not provide firewood, but it can be purchased at Thriftway in Welches; we are hoping to have new couches in the unit by June; cobwebs have been removed; the drapes do fully cover the windows; the hot tub is located behind the house, and the only neighboring house does not line up with the hot tub so privacy is not an issue; the blocks have been removed from the walkway near the hot tub as the new one that has been ordered will be accessed from the deck so blocks are no longer necessary. Thank you!
Shawna V. May 2017
Compared to the other place we rented for four nights up on the mountain for the same money, this was a 1 on 1-10 and that was a 10. (We needed to add a night and that place was booked, so in desperation we came here). This house is in a pretty run down neighborhood. I had to listen to a chain saw for hours.
See above comments for details about the house itself.
I wouldn't want to have stayed here more than one night. Better than a motel room for sure, but nothing to write home about.
As long as you don't mind not using the hot tub and are careful outside, you will be comfortable inside.
Manager response:
We are sorry to see this guest was disappointed. Since the home is located in the middle of the woods our guests will sometimes hear neighbors cutting their firewood. A new hot tub has been ordered and should be up and running by June. Thank you!
Kassidy B. Feb 2017
The house and location was great. If the hot tub was working and actually cean, along with the washer and dryer being broken as well our stay would have been much better.
Tim Y. Feb 2017
All in all was a great fun time.. the hot tub could use some love and cleaning.. jets don't work properly and one was detached.. besides that everything was fine and good.. no other issues or complaints
Ayama T. Jan 2017
Comfortable, spacious, well cleaned. All the amenities for a nice relaxing get away. Nearby grocery store and easy access to adventures!
Teng M. Jan 2017
will go there again
Jennifer D. Jan 2017
The cabin is well kept and has all of the amenities you'd want. We plan to go back.
Janet F. Jan 2017
This is a clean, newer chalet tucked in a forested neighborhood in Brightwood. A beautiful river is a very short walk away where enjoyment would be found in any season. Even though the next door neighbor is very close, all was peaceful and quiet.
This home would get close to an excellent rating if all the appliances worked properly, the kitchen tools and equipment were replaced, and the furniture was updated. It has been somewhat neglected and you can see the shortcuts made in the maintaining of the house.
Watch for the potholes in the road driving in to the house...they are huge.
The Vacasa staff was friendly and eager to help us solve any issues.
Malissa D. Dec 2016
We loved the hot tub. The fireplace kept it very warm in the house. We've never used a French press and had to watch a video online to learn, but the coffee was actually really good. We'd stay again. Very quiet up there.
Sarah W. Dec 2016
We enjoyed our stay here. It is very cozy and relaxing. There is a lot of board games, but no dvds for those movie goers. There kitchen has plenty of cookware, but if you plan on making casseroles I would bring more. Bring spices, sugar and coffee. The cabin is close to Government Camp making it easy to enjoy winter fun or summer depending on when you stay. It's super cute and cozy.
Joshua G. Nov 2016
The furniture in the bed are horrible and uncomfortable nobody maintains the hot tub you can find better and comfortable stuff at Goodwill then the furniture that they have here overall the house has a comfy and cozy setting and is very nice and they never fixed the hot tube like in the review that the guy said
Manager response:
The hot tub works correctly if guests adjust the jet valves correctly; we will provide instructions for this. The furniture is in the process of being replaced and will soon be more comfortable for our guests.
Lanie H. Oct 2016
Great location, the house is gorgeous and a perfect getaway from the city.
Dale L. Oct 2016
inside was nice. outside was not. The yard looks like it has not been cleaned up in a couple years.
David S. Oct 2016
The Wildwood Cabin was open and bight with plenty of room for the three of us. It does say it will sleep 6, and that is true, but that would be the very max. We like our space. Having the upstairs and downstairs bathroom was awesome. The kitchen layout is great and easy to use. The gas stove fireplace is so nice and easily heats the whole place. And the cabin itself holds heat very well. The two ceiling fans circulate the air nicely. The hot tub was salt water and so easy the use. We will return.
Kathy R. Sep 2016
A great little hideaway near Mt Hood. The games cupboard was extremely well stocked, as was the kitchen. We enjoyed our stay!
Naomi J. Sep 2016
This place was great! More spacious than what I expected, you could probably fit more than 6 people. We really enjoyed the firepit in the back yard, and even though I don't think any of the jets in the hottub work, it was still fun. You can access the river with a short walk which was nice. The only thing I wasn't expecting was the remodel of the master bedroom. The closet was closed off and so was the door leading to the deck.
Manager response:
The remodel is a continuous work in progress. We apologize for any inconveniences this caused our guests.
Traci B. Aug 2016
Very nice and clean house. Private lot with trees and wildlife. Close to activities such as Mt Hood, lakes etc. Very peaceful.
Meggan S. Aug 2016
Very adorable and spacious cabin for a retreat from the city. The appliances and electronics are dated, just keep that in mind. If you need a gormet kitchen to cook in or a full sound system for movies this isn't the place for you. However, it's perfect for relaxing and enjoying the company in the beautiful surroundings. The hot tub is dated as well, only one jet works but still makes for a great soak.

Backyard is a great space!

Thoroughly enjoyed this getaway cabin.
David K. Jun 2016
We just spent four days at this property. The inside was clean but furnishings a little dated. Plenty of room for a family and the upper loft would be perfect for kids. Outside of the house left much to be desired. Overtaken by weeds and outdoor furniture dirty and barely usable. Patio door from bedroom to patio was covered up with a tarp and unusable. With a little TLC it could be very nice. Probably perfect for winter snow cabin.
Manager response:
We apologize for the inconveniences experienced during this stay. The yard has been cleand up a bit, but the owner prefers it to be a woodsy setting. The patio door was under construction during this visit, but it has been completed since then.
Larry C. Jun 2016
Very nice cabin, with wandering roads everywhere and no traffic so walking the dog anywhere was not a problem. Even got one neighborhood dog to come along on one of our morning hikes. Be sure to check out the river trail, you can pick it up just about 1/4 mile up the road where the river comes close to the road. Enjoyed the solitude.
Swina K. Jun 2016
This house was a perfect getaway for my family and I. My three kids enjoyed making smores at both fire pits (front and backyard), they loved the hot tub, board games, the neighbors were nice and allowed the kids to play on the playground, they loved the bunk bed and the loft. As for my husband and I, we were happy that there was a full kitchen, BBQ grill, and laundry. In addition, there is a beautiful river bot too far away with a trail down. Best of all, there are many lakes nearby. We have all the fondest memories.
Annette K. May 2016
Our family needed some time away together and this space was great for it. The comforts of home, nice space, great hot tub. Enjoyed our experience a lot. Just would like to see investment in the mattresses because they caused us all to lose some sleep due to not being comfortable.
Darnell F. Apr 2016
Relaxing spot with descent proximity to Mt. Hood. Only one hot tub jet works. The french doors on the master bedroom are covered with a tarp and sealed up making the room dark and dank. The neighbors are literally right next door. The neighbor was up all hours of the night and into the early morning with his dog running around off leash. The dog kept setting off the motion lights around the property. The river can be heard but not easily reached unless walking up the street or going through someones back yard. If you need to refill the propane for the grill the gas station up the street works. The steps to the fire pit in back are an accident waiting to happen. Slightly disappointed but after some adjustments it is quiet and peaceful. The Mexican restaurant "El Burro Loco" is a must visit. A descent stay for day tripping to Mt. Hood!!
Manager response:
Thank you so much for sharing your review! We have let our property manager know about the steps to the hot tub and the state of the french doors so that they can make sure that both are in great condition for our guests going forward. We appreciate you choosing Vacasa and hope to host you again soon!
Minna W. Feb 2016
The stay was perfect. The home was as described, and I was surprised how roomy it was. The walls are pretty sound proof and the kitchen provides almost all the tools you need to cook up something. Don't hesitate to ask the neighbors for help if needed, they were very friendly. My favorite part has to be the hot tub and the close distrance (30min apx) to timberline and mt hood meadows ski resort. They also have an area to make s'mores in the backyard but it's was too cold to do so. I would definitely recommend the stay for anyone!
Ryan H. Jan 2016
Excellent cabin in the woods with hot tub for 3 comfortably.
Lynne R. Jan 2016
Great spot!
Robyn O. Jan 2016
We enjoyed our stay. The location is convenient for travel to Mt Hood snow parks. The house is very nice, quiet, and clean. The fireplace keeps the living room warm and cozy.
The downstairs (queen) bed is not comfortable for 2 people to sleep in. Every time 1 person rolls over, the whole bed creaks loudly and shakes. It might be fine for 1 person, but we did not get very good rest while there.
The hot tub was very warm and nice but only 1 jet works.
Molly F. Sep 2015
We stayed at the Brightwood house with our two small kids. The house was beautiful, clean, and well appointed for the meals we cooked. So close to Portland and such a beautiful, quiet, forest neighborhood. Neighbors also very friendly when they noticed our car dome light on overnight and checked to see if we needed a jump start. We will be back!!
Charlee G. Jun 2015
Beautiful home! Perfect for a weekend get away. Lots of options for the family to enjoy
Mary F. Nov 2014
A nice spot for a family or couple getaway. Very quiet.
Maureen P. Oct 2014
We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin was more home like, very clean & comfortable! Would be a great place for a family! Loved the vaulted ceilings and big windows, very bright & cheery, especially for the mountains! The surrounding yard needs some TLC and the driveway was a bit challenging, but we were there for much needed R&R, including hot tubbing, not the yard, which we got. We will be back again and would certainly recommend this property to others.
James M. Sep 2014
The cabin was a great stay, close to facilities and activities. With so many beautiful views of nature, I was surprised to see so many people going for the thrill experiences. I hope they also took time to enjoy the natural world in the mountains. The hike to Mirror Lake was a great experience walking through cathedral forest opening to inspiring vistas.
Manager response:
Thank you for this great review. Its always awesome to hear that our guests not only enjoy the home but also the area. Mirror Lake is definitely a must see. We look forward to seeing you again!
Lexie S. Aug 2014
This is a sweet little getaway spot. Super clean on our arrival and the cabin had everything we needed for a comfortable, relaxing stay. The bed was the most comfortable we've ever slept in - perfect firmness! Hikes in the area were great and desserts at the Rendezvous restaurant were top notch. We'd definitely stay here again.
Manager response:
Thank you so much for the wonderful review. We are so happy you enjoyed your stay, and look forward to your next visit.
Nicole F. Feb 2014
If you are a looking for a small inexpensive cabin not to far from the mountain, this is it. The cabin itself is decent and about 30 minutes (w/o chains) from Mt. Hood. It was nice to find a place that wasn't over priced semi last minute (3 weeks). The hot tub was an added bonus.
Brett D. Feb 2014
We wanted a cabin in the woods to escape to. This was perfect. It had cable tv and internet so we could connect with the outside world when we wished. Hot tub was an excellent bonus. Great Mexican restaurant within margarita walking distantly. Very fun wild life area with great trails literally across the highway.
Manager response:
Thanks for the great review. We are really pleased that this home worked out so well for you.
David C. Jan 2014
We stayed here with 6 people very comfortably. Hottub was great, very peaceful area, 15 min to timberline, loved the board game selection and openness of the cabin.
Tammy M. Dec 2013
I wohld stay sgain
Melissa D. Dec 2013
The location was great for our ski trip. House was clean and cozy and the hot tub was stellar after a day on the mountain. The staff was incredibly helpful and easy to get in touch with. I'd recommend the cabin and the staff!
Manager response:
Thank you for your kind review. Please come see us again soon!
Daniel F. Sep 2013
Very good value for a quick getaway from the city for a few nights. The house is well appointed. I would recommend bringing your own electric skillet for cooking breakfast and espresso machine if you're a coffee snob like me :-) Run up to Mt. Hood Roasters in Rhododenron for some great beans and hold up in this functional cabin for the weekend. Good wifi and cozy propane stove make for a comfy stay. The hot tub doesn't hurt either :-) Only has a neighbor on one side and you can hear the river from the front yard that is a short walk across the street and down from the house.
ANNA C. Sep 2013
Nice A-frame cabin nestled in the woods in Brightwood. Enjoyed the location and your friendly neighbors that offered directions and tips on enjoying the area.
DeVonda S. Jul 2013
The rental is that close to the river. It was quite tranquil to hear the rushing water in the early morning. Great getaway in the mountain.
Joyce B. Jul 2013
We loved this Mount Hood cabin from start to finish. The location is a easily accessible to the Mount Hood Adventure Park, the ski areas (where they still ski/snowboard in July!!!) and to the wineries/restaurants of Hood River. We enjoyed the beautiful scenic drives and met some very friendly people in the area. The fly fishing shop just down the street set up our 2 boys with rentals and a quick lesson, and they were off to explore and fish in the area rivers. The house was well-appointed and spacious - just what you'd expect for a mountain cabin. Neighbors are close by, so don't expect total seclusion. Definitely hit the Skyway Bar & Grill down the street for a unique dining/cocktail experience. Wish we could've stayed a few days more.
Kimberly L. Feb 2013
We LOVED this vacation cabin. Perfectly located between Sandy and the ski areas. Very clean and comfortable. Hottub was a plus to enjoy at the end of the day.
Debbie B. Dec 2012
We stayed a few days during our winter break and had a relaxing time. We woke up to snow the first morning and went sledding. We also took the dog for a walk to the beautiful river just down the road. The cabin was cozy for our family of 5. The hot tub was clean. There is a grocery store 3 minutes away and a Chinese restaurant. We had a great time but you might want to bring a hair dryer.
Carrie K. Nov 2012
The cabin is cute and cozy. My only disappointment was the fireplace is gas and i love a real wood fireplace, I am sure it said it was a gas fireplace somewhere. The location is great and you can hear the rushing water of the river. It is a short walk to the river and fun to walk along it and explore. The mountain air is so refreshing. We had a wonderful time and the staff of Vacasa was very helpful and accomodating. Great vacation!
Nora B. Oct 2012
Excellent place to stay. Very comfortable clean place. We hiked into Mirror Lake in the snow. just beautiful. convenient location.
Carie S. Sep 2012
This house was very clean and comfortable. We spent our days hiking on different trails on Mt. Hood, and this house was convenient to those trails and to the stores and restaurants. It was so nice to have all the big windows, so we had plenty of natural light. The "yard" seemed neglected, and the huge rock planter, full of weeds, was in the way for us to park our full sized truck up next to the house. But the inside was well taken care of. The water has a slight sulfur smell, but it didn't alter the taste. We filled up our water bottles for our hikes and didn't taste a thing. The only thing that was missing was a cutting board in the kitchen. Other than that, for the 2 of us, it had everything we needed. We would rent this house again.
Don B. Mar 2012
What more can I ask for...great, clean house and awesome customer service!
Matt L. Mar 2012
Make sure to take some bottled water with you, unless you like drinking water that smells like rotten eggs... The house is very cool, though. Stayed there twice and had a blast both times.
Manager response:
Thank you for the review and we're glad you enjoyed the home despite the water. Unfortunately there is nothing our company can do about it. I'm sure future guests will appreciate your suggestion.
Tamara D. Jan 2012
There is no Wildwood Cafe - instead look for the orange sign of the Wildwood Motel on Hwy 26. The roadway to the cabin is through the white rock pillars across the highway (north side). Also, if you want to use the hot tub during cold weather adjust its temperature when you first arrive...it took it 24 hours to go from 82 to 104 degrees (top end). The cabin is awesome & in a terrific location. Remember to bring a decent skillet & steamer to complement the almost complete kitchen.
Renate F. Jan 2012
My family and I loved our stay at this cabin. It was very clean and comfortable, warm and cozy. Hot tub was awesome in the crisp air. It would have been great to have cable to keep the kids a bit more entertained, or perhaps have a little movie library at the cabin. When we got there the neighbor was burning something but thankfully I expected it from reading the reviews, so I was prepared and knew not to let that get to me. He only burned something the first day we were there. Seems like a lot of the country folk out there burn random stuff. Is there recycling on the property? I couldn't find a bin, so we just took it home to recycle ourselves. Would be nice if that were an option there. Maybe that's what everyone burns in their yard there, the recycling? Anyhow, lovely time was had and we shall most likely return. Oh, and I was touched by the dog bowl and dog leash that were available, it is so nice to have your four legged friends be welcomed like that. The bed in the downstairs bedroom hurt our backs by the way. Perhaps something to put on the list for the owners to improve the quality. The kids seemed fine in the bunk beds.
Issac F. Aug 2011
Very comfortable with lots of character. The cabin had lots of space and room. Two baths and plenty
Elizabeth C. Jul 2011
Clean, comfortable and close to Portland. Unfortunately the WIFI did not work and the sound system for the TV was lacking. I trust these were not bad things as it meant for more games of Risk. Great game collection.
terry r. Jun 2011
the directions were misleading. There is no Wildwood Cafe across from E. Moutainaire Rd. It's the Mountainaire Motel across from the 2 stone columns
Jonathan O. Jun 2011
We had a great time. We really enjoyed our stay. The place is cozy and comfortable. The hot tub was a nice plus.
Amber G. Jun 2011
Very cozy and warm.
Fairly secluded. Nice set up

Very grateful for the last minute availability for a mothers day getaway here w/ my 4 kids. The only reason I didnt give it 5 stars is because the beds werent the most comfortable (platform style downstairs) & futon upstairs not any better. But the hot tub & ambiance of the fireplace....& well appointed cabin w/ everything u need....made this trip very awesome. Driveway is tricky for large SUV but very doable. Would love to come back next year as well. Thanks so much!

This is a cozy little get-away with everything you need to relax, and only about 20 minutes drive from Government Camp. It was easy to find, and there were games and books available for use. I was told there was a place to take a walk nearby, but didn't have a chance to find out. Not too many complaints overall. The first day of our stay the thermostat wasn't working and the water heater had been turned off, but Vacasa was very helpful in sending someone to replace the thermostat and find the braker panel, and they were willing to give us a free night to make up for a whole day of cold showers and chilly rooms. The upstairs bunk I slept in wasn't comfortable; the springs were sticking up through the mattress. Overall very happy with the experience, especially with the availability of management to answer phone calls and respond to an unexpected situation.

was not with the property but with the neighbor. He was burning plastic and it smelled terrible. The house itself was great, and it is close to a lot of fun things to do and I will probably stay here again (if ever I have time) because I liked it, and I assume that the neighbor doesn't burn 365 days a year.

Would love to stay at this cabin again; I would definitely recommend it. Cozy cabin, great value, and close to snow recreation.
