For the fisherman, Wood River is just one block away. You'll be about a half a mile away from downtown Ketchum where you'll have an array of options for shopping, dining, and entertainment. A little further (two and a half miles) you can find Sun Valley, which offers even more entertainment, shopping, and dining options.
