Good location, right in the middle of town, fairly close to all the parked we wanted to go such as the redwoods.
Some pointers thought:
If your a light sleeper, maybe bring some earplugs. It can get pretty noisy at night due to some foot traffic.
Lastly, there is a washer and dryer but you need to pay about $1.50 in quarters to use each appliance.

Great place in Old Town. Just be warned; the only heat source is the gas fireplace on the 1st floor. Bedrooms were freezing unless you sleep with the door open.
I was in town to visit family. This is one of the nicest, cleanest, easiest VRBO properties that I have stayed at. The place was immaculate, well stocked and very comfortable. The location in Old Town is lovely. I will be booking this for my next visit to town.
This place is great. Clean, bright, cozy, charming, excellent location and plenty of parking.
The property was exactly as represented. Clean, great location, and fully appointed.
The apartment is downtown, close to restaurants, coffee shops, the bay, shopping, etc. Clean. Comfortable. We live in the country, so it was great being in a town. We did not find the noise to be a problem.
Amazing space, beautiful, clean, and lovely.
Old Town Eureka is where the condo we stayed in was located. Perfect for walking to restaurants and shopping. Quiet most of the time. Occasionally we heard traffic or some of the homeless people who wander around the area looking through trash bins. However I did notice the trash containers in the ally by the condo were locked. The condo itself is very nice. Open and bright. Parking is in a municipal parking lot and first come basis to get a spot. Try to avoid parking under the trees. We had to one night and in the morning our windshield was full of bird droppings. It's a great location to stay and I would recommend this place if you want to be close to downtown.
We had a great time.
We enjoyed our stay. It is a comfortable, attractive space. Well appointed.
This has been our home away from home whenever we go to Eureka to visit our grandson & family which is quite a bit. The place is always clean and welcoming. Feels like our 2nd home. NEVER DISAPPOINTED.
The location of the townhouse is very convenient Easy access to anywhere we want to go. Lots of great restaurants & shopping. Parking is a plus too.
We will be staying there a lot in the years to come if still available.
This is a absolute dream rental. The birds that destroy your car with presents isn't so great but, thats easy to wash off. Otherwise, I will be renting this spot again. Just perfect Thanks to Jessie for being so ready and willing to assist, even tho it was just once, (couldn't figure out how to turn on the fire place and open the windows) but, he was there.
We had an amazing experience from the first step of booking until we checked out. The location served us extremely well allowing for walks on the boardwalk, shopping, and meals. There is a small population of unsheltered men and women in the immediate area but we always felt safe, were never approached or panhandled. Extremely satisfied with this property.
Great condo, spacious and comfortable for two couples. Everything you need is there, fully stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, extra towels, tv and cable. Great location in old town, close to restaurants and fun bars.
The accommodation was clean and nicely furnished. Location is ideal. Need to understand that there are a lot of stairs and no place to sit outside. The warm welcome of coffee and cookies was a nice touch. Nice restaurants and great shopping within the immediate blocks.
Nice, airy apartment. Walking access to all the activities we were interested in attending. Easy access to the water. A quick drive over the bridge to the ocean. No issues. Liked the app so I didn't have to remember codes and check out was easy. Liked the key delivery system (again, no codes to remember). All needed items were available.
We have rented Bay Lights on First Street 3 previous times now. We travel to Eureka at least 2 times a year As per every visit everything was perfect...location, cleanliness. The property management is very easy to work with. We plan on renting it for our Thanksgiving trip in a couple of months. It will always be our home away from home whenever we visit Eureka.
The apartment was clean and well furnished. We enjoyed our stay very much.
We had fun exploring Eureka using this comfortable condo as our home base. It was just half a block from the old town shopping district. Be sure to check out Los Bagels, the best bakery in town. The only downside of this place is that most nights there is a very loud death metal band playing at some bar nearby. Bring earplugs!
The property was extremely well kept, cozy and spacious. I arrived to find that everything I thought I'd need and purchased at the local grocery store was already provided! (Common use products like cooking utensils, paper products, etc. ) The big bay window was my favorite part!! The bedrooms were very clean, well kept, bathroom also very clean and well kept. This was my first experience with a vacation rental and this property exceeded my expectations! It's location was on 1st street and D st. Across the street was the bay and everything you need is within walking distance. I had an amazing experience and would absolutely stay at this property again. Highly recommended! The one thing you should know about This property and most properties in Eureka is there is no air conditioning. This was no fault of the property. A friend of mine who lives in the area said that's just how Eureka is! The thermostat controls the heat which is an electric fireplace. During the day if it gets warm inside the apartment just open the windows! It'll cool down! Over all this property was above my expectations. I traveled alone and I definitely felt safe here. Highly recommend staying here!
My wife and I really enjoyed Eureka, and this condo worked wonderfully for us. Very clean, spacious, and comfortable. We even received a little gift upon arrival that was from a local business. Very nice. All the restaurants and nightlife in Old Town are easily walkable, and the condo is right next to the water. Very nice.
5 Stars , everything was great
Great location, you can walk to everything. Convenient place for parking and stay. We will probably stay again in the future.
Great location for waterfront exploring. Close to nice restaurants and free parking a definite plus. Nicely equipped kitchen, which the cook appreciated.
