The cottage was quiet, quaint and charming with all the necessary amenities. I loved the coastal theme, and I especially loved the Koi pond garden (very relaxing) as well as the private patio off the kitchen.

I loved everything about this cottage! I didn’t want to leave. I wanted to live there forever. Thank you !♉️♥️🍀
The little cottage was very clean, and the kitchen was well stocked. Location was convenient. Entry was easy. The internet didn't work, very low signal which was difficult for us since we didn't have strong cell service either. I would recommend a WiFi booster or hard wired internet.
House is clean and cute and location was perfect for us - going to a wedding in Carlotta. Only complaint was with air flow through the rooms. The bedroom, sandwiched between the tiny living room and kitchen, was stifling hot. We were happy there was a floor fan!
The place was perfect for our needs, since most of the time we were in Eureka visiting family. It was clean and nicely decorated. Although you very close to your neighbors, they were very quiet and respectful of your privacy. It also had a private sitting area off the kitchen and a BBQ, although I would suggest they place a small table out there, so you could eat outside or enjoy your morning coffee. The kitchen was equipped with cooking utensils and cookware. If you like to cook, I would recommend that you bring your own spices and cooking oil, since there is no pantry provided. Also, bring aluminum foil and plastic ziploc bags. If you're staying for a few days, be sure to bring your favorite coffee pods. We thought that 10 am was rather an early checkout time, but, overall we were pleased with our rental.
This little cottage has everything you could want. Ideally located for travel to the Redwoods or the beach. Great inside and out! Lots of privacy.
Perfect launching place to do some amazing Redwood hikes. Was visiting around 4th of July, and was lucky enough to hear about local fireworks on the 3rd. It was great to blend in and experience the local scene (and a bit of small town Americana) Truly special. Already booked again in September with my daughter to spend a mother-daughter bonding trip before dropping her off for her 1st year of college in Oregon. Can't wait to come back.
Perfect cottage, with full kitchen, king size bed, and front sitting room. Patio has barbecue. Quiet and away from the street. Great security. Not appropriate for any group with two or more people who do not sleep in the same bed.
This little cottage is a clean, quiet, comfortable place to stay. The only drawback is that the view of your neighbors- only feet/yards away- watching you come and go, makes privacy an issue. If you want seclusion, this isn't the place for you.
Amazingly secluded right in the middle of Fortuna...right next to the high school...but you would never know it. More than adequate with sitting room/living room, bedroom, bath, kitchen and even a small deck complete with gas grill. This is definitely a place we would choose to stay in again.
I always enjoy staying at this small home. It is completely furnished except for lacking a washer and dryer for clothes. The kitchen is fully equipped, and the front room is comfortable. It is for two people only. Three or four people will not be able to stay here under any circumstance.
Nice quiet home in downtown Fortuna, able to accommodate two persons (preferably a couple). Not appropriate for more than two persons. Street parking always available. Very comfortable with kitchen, bath, sitting area, and outdoor patio with barbecue.
Quaint and well located house for two in the center of historic Fortuna. Full kitchen and nice sitting area make it pleasant for long stays. Close to movie house and stores. Not appropriate for any travelers with more than two people.
We were pleasantly surprised at how nice this cottage was. It's perfect for two people, as it is very compact. At the same time, it was nicely furnished, and had all the amenities we needed for a three night stay. The kitchen has ample cooking and eating utensils. There was plenty hot water for showers, and the tiny front room has a great heater and internet TV free of charge. Our only complaint is the refrigerator noise at night. We found it necessary to unplug it to eliminate the on and off noise all night, which would be a problem if you had a fridge full of food. Overall, we had a great stay and will consider renting again in the future.
