We stayed here for 10 days this Summer (July-August) with my husband and 3 kids. It was a clean, stylish and cozy retreat that served as a home base for our day trips to Portland, Mt. Rainier National Park, Mt. Hood, Bend, and the Lavender Valley fields, among other things. After a long day of adventure, it was the perfect place to come "home" to and relax and recharge.

The townhome seems new or recently renovated because the kitchen and bathroom finishes seem more high end. We are used to staying in 5 star hotels and I have to say after staying here I'm not going back to a hotel. Even the Marriott grand vacation clubs are not this nice.

The kitchen is white with updated quartz or possibly gray/white granite and is large and spacious with a nice big island and tons of cabinet space, gas stove, and stainless steel french door style fridge. Beautiful subway tile backsplash. Also includes everything you would possibly need to cook a large meal for tons of people. They even include all the spices and salt you need so you don't need to purchase these. They have so many nice plates, bowls, pots, pans, mixing bowls, serving pieces, can opener, coffee maker, and much, much more!! Literally, a gourmet cook would not feel lacking in any way.
Note: There is a microwave but it's hidden on one side of the island. Custom drawer style built in! There is also an extra bathroom (powder room) downstairs in the foyer which is also nice to have when you are staying with a larger family.

The beds are plush and comfortable. Boys shared the room with the bunk beds and seemed happy there. They are ages 12 and 8. All the bathrooms are clean and the master bath has a double shower with a rain head shower. The water pressure is amazing and there is plenty of hot water-hot enough for a steam shower. Plenty of fluffy, clean towels, and also included shower gel, shampoo, bar soap, etc. The great room in this home is gorgeous with high ceilings and huge windows looking out to the forest. Impressive 2 story foyer also helps make this home feel much larger in person. Very peaceful and serene. The place is located in a forest so there is a lot of privacy other than a few other townhomes that share the same cul-de-sac. I would highly recommend the Cedar Glen Retreat! Can't say enough! It was magical and we were sad to leave! Hope we can come back one day!!!

My family and I really enjoyed our 4-night stay at this beautiful house! The area is beautiful and quiet. I really enjoyed the wooded view from all the windows in the great room. The kitchen was fully stocked with every tool you could possibly ever need. We will definitely be back!
