Modern luxury meets the all comforts of home at this lovely Post Falls vacation rental. With gorgeous views and secluded serenity, you'll be relaxing in no time. This home is the perfect retreat for two couples looking to escape the hustle and bustle of the big city.
You're in a private and tranquil setting here, on 71 acres that extend to the Spokane River. Liberty Lake Regional Park is only 10 miles away and popular MeadowWood Golf Course is only eight miles away. Lovely and bustling Coeur d'Alene is only 15 miles away. There are also many places around the home to bike and hike including the popular Centennial Trail.
This home is modern and gorgeous. The living room boasts high cathedral ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the environs, and two comfortable beige couches. A fireplace awaits cozy nights in and you can grab a book or a game and enjoy a competitive round or two with the family.
An open-floor plan extends to the dining area and kitchen. There's seating for up to six people at the formal dining table and the charming kitchen has plenty of counter space and all the accoutrements one could ask for, including an electric range and a large fridge.
Head out to the wraparound deck via the sliding glass doors for al fresco dining (a gas grill is provided) or just a glass of wine before bed.
You'll find two bedrooms and a loft here. The master features a queen bed, pristine wood furniture, and a large closet. There's a full bath nearby with a gorgeous jetted tub and separate standalone shower.
Another bedroom boasts a queen bed and wood furnishings and there's another full bath down the hall. The loft area is the perfect spot to gaze down on the lower level or view the scenery from the large windows. This home is ideal for up to six people.
A washer and dryer are on hand as well as a TV with a DVD and VCR hookup. Guests can also walk 200 yards down a sloping hill to a natural, quarter-acre koi pond for picnicking. Well-behaved dogs are welcome with an additional fee, but need to be leashed when outdoors.
Post Falls is the ideal town to get away from it all. Sitting on the lovely Spokane River, the community boasts myriad places to fish, boat, water ski, and relax. You can grab a nosh in town at one of the cozy eateries or hike the mountains nearby.
Loved the house and the nice quiet location. Everything was nice, clean and very comfortable. Thank You for letting us share your home. Will defiantly stay again. The only thing I would like to see is a pull back blind put on the sliding glass door leading to the deck.

Great place a little dated but nice none the less, great not to have WiFi for a few days and very secluded, would recommend

Loved that it was close in but felt like I was in the country.

Not sure exactly what to expect, but the pictures do this place justice. Everything was in order, the house was great. Just as advertised, if not better. Would stay here again easily.

Met our son and girlfriend for a weekend. Nice getaway for catching up with family.

The location of this house was awesome! Close enough to run into town, yet far enough to feel immersed in nature. Having its own private drive, it felt very secluded and mostly quiet (besides the slight noise of the freeway). We had daily deer sightings!
The house was very spacious and comfortable. We loved the west facing windows and high ceilings, and enjoyed most of our time out on the wraparound deck . We will be back… :-)

The house is very tired looking and is obviously maintained on a budget, it is particularly apparent on the exterior of the house. There is a lack of basic equipment in the house and we could only find 3 cups and had to use a measuring jug as a fourth cup. The air conditioning unit that is fitted to an upstairs window is very old and noisy and not very effective, it looks like it was a used unit that was fitted as an afterthought. We were also disappointed with the location as it is quite a way out of Post Falls but you can still see the freeway from the house and also hear the traffic noise. An underwhelming experience overall.

Loved the location!! Perfect for going to Spokane or to Coeur D’Alene and still have a comfortable home to return to with deer and views of the river. The drive to the house is so decompressing and there’s plenty of space to either be together or relax on your own.

Perfect if you want peace and quiet. It's the kind of place that authors go to write. Nice woodsy area.

The house was definitely a highlight of the trip; my friends and I rented this house for 3 nights so we could go to Silverwood Theme Park. The drive wasn't bad, only 40 minutes! And even though the house seems very secluded (which we loved!) it also wasn't too far from the town. Walmart is 10 minutes away.

Be prepared for a very steep long drive gravel driveway, but once you get there it's very private and secluded. My family has visit it twice already.
Very week Tv signal. I brought a T-Mobile my fi and signal was good enough for kids to play Xbox live and for us adults to watch streaming movies from it.

We stayed here as a home base for activities in the surrounding area over the 4th of July holiday. It was a great location to be close to both Spokane and CDA. We didn't get to spend alot of time at the house but we enjoyed the time we did. We saw a porcupine and a coyote going down a game trail by the house in the evenings, as well as a few deer passing through. There are quite a few hummingbirds around as well. There is no central AC in the house, only 1 window box type air conditioner upstairs. The air was not on when we arrived and it was very hot inside. We arrived in the early evening so the small air conditioner didn't have time to cool the house down before bed, so that first night was uncomfortable for sleeping. Once the house got cooled, it stayed fairly cool the rest of the time. Overall we had a really great time, the house is nicely furnished and comfortable. We loved the porch and the big windows in the living room!

Excellent for those who want to get away and enjoy the elements, peace, and quiet.

This property was listed as being riverfront, but we couldn't find an easy way of getting down to the river. If there is a way to get there, it would be helpful to give guests instructions or a map. If this is not riverfront property, it shouldn't be listed as such.
This home is not listed as riverfront, and any mention of river access has been removed so as not to confuse our guests. Thanks!

The house was beautiful the area was perfect for a quiet getaway
We would stay there again!

The house was well-kept with nice, simple furniture and great views of the Post Falls area.
We had difficulty starting the gas fireplace and weren't expecting to need our own lighter/matches.
The property manager was helpful, however, and the stay was otherwise smooth.

We stayed for 14 days and loved it. Saw many deer on the driveway. the house has a great "feel" to it. Plenty of space for and very well taken care of

Great place to stay. Was clean and is close to town.
Monty S.Sep 2016
The home was perfectly situated between Spokane and Coeur D'Alene. So we were able to visit both cities over the Labor Day weekend. There were several walking trails nearby to walk our dogs as well. But the home is situated amongst trees so it feels like you are in the middle of the forest with lots of privacy. We saw many deer around the house. It was relaxing and peaceful.
The home was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed without being overcrowded with furniture or cooking utensils. We would definitely stay here again.

It's been a while since we were actually able to sit back and read an entire book without interruption...and this was just the spot to do it! Quiet, beautiful & very well appointed. When our Grandchildren & Great-grandchildren came to visit us from Spokane, we made sure to take them to Post Falls Park for a wonderful picnic and play ground for the little ones and we were able to take the older ones to the Idaho State Fair. Although we had to keep our two little Maltese dogs on leads at the park, they still had a good time, too.
The house was immaculate and with the exception of a few odds & ends (that we bought and left behind - like little clocks for the bedrooms and some very inexpensive mixing bowls, and a couple of carafe's for juice or iced tea), every amenity was available....including a wonder Jennaire stove in the kitchen that you could grill on (BBQ grill was outside on the deck) and Jacuzzi tub upstairs! Great Washer & Dryer in it's own separate laundry room.
The downside, that others have commented on: No WiFi, No Cable or Dish TV, No Dishwasher or Garbage Disposal (something you'd actually expect to see in such a beautiful kitchen. The house has a "septic system" so you have to use special toilet tissue that disolves (it was supplied-not bad but not great either).

Great cozy vacation home

If you want to get away into privacy and into the trees, but be very near to town, this is an option. Loved most of the view. (You can see Walmart across the freeway and you can hear the freeway with the windows open.) It is an endearing place to rest and easy to go see things! I have recommended wifi and a dishwasher as well as a few more basic kitchen tools to the management.
You can hike a little around the cabin and there are deer, birds, and a really nice little wooded area encompassing this cabin.

The house is well equip and had a great location. We enjoyed it very much. Thanks!
Jeff S.Jun 2016
I really enjoyed my time here and will definitely try to look to rent here again.. The only down side was actually getting to the house itself, as it was in a very secluded area but still wasn't too far from the freeway.
Dennis M.Jun 2016
The area is beautiful and the staff was great. I look forward to using Vacasa in the future!
MATTHEW P.Jun 2016
Our family of 4 stayed here for a week while visiting family in Spokane Valley. This was perfect for us. The home is nestled into a secluded hillside and has a wonderful view! All of the amenities that we needed were right there. We loved hiking around - some nice bluffs right behind the unit - and grilling a few meals on the patio.
You are just 5 minutes from WalMart, which makes it very handy when traveling with kiddos.
Can't say that we experienced any negatives at all. Will definitely look to stay here again. For about the same price as a decent hotel, we had our own private retreat!
Julia & Michael C.Apr 2016
Beautiful home, quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed our stay and we are looking forward to visiting the area again in the future!
Shelene C.Apr 2016
We had a great 8 night stay at this wonderful home in the woods. We loved being able to hike and explore from the house to get some exercise.
The house was very clean and comfortable. We usually had breakfast and dinner at the house. We were glad we read other reviews about the kitchen lacking some basics, so we were prepared and brought some things from home. We used the grill on the deck a few nights and that was great to have. The washer and dryer was a plus also, since we stayed 8 nights. It was a perfect base for exploring Spokane and Idaho. We would return.

Clean, easy to find, enjoyed not having TV
Kristine H.Feb 2016
The house has a nice cabin feel to it. The carpet is new, and the furnishings were good. It has a good sized deck and BBQ which would be nice in warmer months. It was very clean!

Property stunning, house absolutely beautiful, would rent again.

My wife grew up in the Spokane area and it is a very common place for us to visit when we go on vacation (we live in Southern, CA). The home is well situated so we can "get away from it all" while still being in good striking distance to CDA, Spokane, Post Falls and all of the amenities around these areas. This is a very nice home for a romantic getaway while being perfectly accessible for us to go visit family and/or have family come and visit us.
Mary A.Aug 2015
This place DOES need some TLC as one reviewer wrote. Would we stay here again? Absolutely. But I sure would hope the owners get in there and fix up the place a bit first. Don't let this scare you away. You will still love the place - it's gorgeous and the grounds beautiful. If you don't see any deer, I would be surprised. We lost count at how many we saw. The view from the deck in the morning is gorgeous. It's roomy and for two couples, just perfect.
Andrea S.Aug 2015
Liked the location of the home. The house was very clean and quiet. Our girls loved the Jacuzzi tub. Will definitely stay here again.
Rosemarie B.Jul 2015
Nicely secluded great for taking your dogs ! House is stuck in the 90s and could do with some maintenance and updating!
Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts with us; we will keep them in mind when we are looking to make improvements. This home is very clean and beautifully located and is great for a group that wants to be out in the beautiful scenery, but still able to easily access Coeur d'Alene. Thank you!

My mom, my daughter & myself came here for a get away and to visit family in the area. What a darling house! Comfortable beds, all the amenities needed, and the deck was so amazing. We spent most of our time outside sitting and enjoying the outdoors. This house is approx. 1 mile from the freeway, but we never heard the traffic. It was easy to get anywhere we wanted to go. Beautiful scenic drives and rich history surround this area!
