The unit was very attractively decorated with light fresh colors . The linens and coverlets on beds were very nice as were the complimentary soaps, shampoos, etc. My g children enjoyed bird watching and nature in the back yard. We were disappointed in Vacasa service for some attention to detail issues.

We enjoyed staying in this villa. Its just a short bike ride to the beach. We also enjoyed seeing the wildlife on our evening bike rides. The only negatives we had were the carpet stains, living room furniture stains and the crack repair to the master
tub/shower.

Clean property with close location to the beach. Has a nice wooded area in back that gives privacy. Large kitchen and living room area. Didn’t have any problems or issues during our stay.

The villa we stayed in was a beautiful place to stay for our 8 day vacation on Hilton Head Island. We enjoyed the villa, location and benefits we got from being able to go to the Palmetto Dunes beaches

Upon arrival, we noticed the front door had rotted at the bottom, and not just a little bit. The master bedroom carpet was filthy. The guest bedroom carpet was only dirty in spots. The bed in the master bedroom, which looked great in the pictures, was picked (wicker) and needed repair. The blanket and the bedspread were old and not very inviting. The ceiling fan light needed replacing. The master bathroom tub was thin and had a round, maybe 10 inch indention in the middle. When showering, it had to be straddled because of fear of it breaking. The toilet and sink were clean but the mildew had to be cleaned around the tub. The tub stopper was broken and sat on the edge of the tub. The shower curtain was old with pulls in the material. When I sat down to watch tv, I looked at the sofas. They were filthy, with the cushions turned over to hide the worst smeared brown dirt on them. They also had pink stains which didn't come out after cleaning. The inside of the kitchen drawers were in need of cleaning, sanding and painting.. I washed them and also washed all the dishes and glasses. When I found some cooking pots, I knew I would not be able to use them because they had never been scrubbed; just put through the dishwasher and the food had dried and was stuck to the pots. The silverware holder was so stained that we decided it must have been 20 years old. My husband scrubbed it but we couldn't use it. Something so simple, a white plastic silverware holder, was just disgusting. I called a number and told them the condo didn't look good like the pictures had shown. They promised to send someone out. A young man, Calvin, arrived a few hours later and stayed for about an hour and a half while he cleaned the floors; he showed me the "after" cleaning cloth and it was dark brown. He also helped me clean the kitchen drawers, scrubbed the pots, helped clean the mildewed grout on the tubs, cleaned all the tile floors and promised to report the condition of the carpet, upholstery and the state of the kitchen. Two days later, Monday, Stanley Carpet and Upholstery cleaners arrived and spent over three hours cleaning the sofas, the cushion on the brown wicker chair, the dining room chairs and all the rugs. The sofas looked better but stains remained. The time spent on the phone asking for help plus the time waiting for the condo to be cleaned, plus the time I spent cleaning out all the kitchen drawers, the tubs etc.was not what any guest deserves. We had planned to cook hamburgers on the grill, but the gas tank was so rusted we were afraid to use it. The patio furniture paint had come off on half of the chairs. We moved them away from the table when we and our guest sat outside. There were good things about the condo. The master bedroom mattress and the chest of drawers. The window treatments were great and worked well. However, a door mat has been placed in front of the patio doors and the window treatment catches it. I moved the mat, but a less considerate guest will just ignore it and the window treatment will be damaged soon. The furniture in the guest bedroom was pretty. The refrigerator was clean. The towels were nice and plentiful. I would be thankful for a $500 refund as an apology for false advertising on the vacation site. I have not submitted a review of the condo yet. Calvin should be rewarded for helping me like he did. Thanks for listening. I hope to hear from you soon.
