The perfect place for a gathering to celebrate birthdays. The decks were incredible and the lay out of the house perfect to accommodate us. Setting was just what we wanted.

Would definitely stay here again.

This is the second time our family has stayed in this home. It’s great - awesome location, clean, well equipped and cozy. We keep coming back!

comfortable home, great view..loved the fireplace
David D. Nov 2018
Good location and well appointed property with massive deck overlooking the golf course and pond.
Janet B. Oct 2018
Fabulous weather, the house was lovely. We had a 5 hour power outage Saturday night which put a damper on our game night but otherwise, was perfect for a fall getaway.
Ronald B. Oct 2018
Beautiful windows facing the golf course.
Molly L. Oct 2018
We LOVED our stay here and would definitely come back. We loved having a fire every evening and the kitchen was wonderful for us to cook dinner together. Thank you so much for everything!
Chad S. Oct 2018
Perfect location and home for a guys golf trip. Four of us in the house and had a great time. I stayed in the master bedroom and was not a huge fan of the memory foam mattress topper but that may be a preference thing.
Paul M. Sep 2018
Great home with wonderful accommodations. Enjoyed the amenities of the BBR and the neighboring community of Sisters !
Jeff G. Aug 2018
Loved being right on the golf course and the great deck in the backyard. Wonderful home.

Layout of the home was great. Nice spot on the golf course and the house had everything we needed.b

Great house and absolutely beautiful setting! The deck was amazing and layout was perfect for my husband, daughter and I on one side of the house and my parents on the other. Great location as well right on the golf course and just a short mile walk to the main pool and lodge area. Would definitely recommend and look forward to another trip in the future!

The home was in a great location, with beautiful views from the main living areas and decks. It was VERY clean. We loved it!

thanks!

Nice place. Nice price.
Reba S. Feb 2018
This home is three bedroom with the ability to separate people in the bedrooms. There is one bedroom and one bathroom down one wing that has a pocket door you can close to limit noise in that wing; and two bedrooms and a bathroom down the other wing, also with a pocket door to close. This leaves the main living space open and available for everyone while allowing others to sleep in. Very convenient for families!

Loved the location! Close to hoodoo and close town to eat!
Bob And Jackie M. Nov 2017
We have stayed at this house before. It is a great location and view, on the golf course. But it was prepared much better the last time we stayed there.
Kim K. Sep 2017
Loved the location-private, yet quick to the lodge and golf amenities. Layout is great! One level, with bedrooms on two wings. TV works great, books and more.
Our suggestion was the throw rugs and bedspreads needing cleaning. Kitchen cabinet fronts need a thorough wipe down. Shag carpet color is fine, but could use an update. Late in the season, so all the rugs are in need of attention.
Overall, we hope they address this, as we would love to stay there otherwise.
Manager response:
After a busy summer at this home we are looking forward to working with the owners to get things cleaned including the rugs and cabinets. Thank you!
Harlan D. May 2017
We would not choose this house during the summer because it does not have air conditioning . Also the shag carpeting needs to be replaced .
Evan K. Apr 2017
Can't wait to go back.😊
Marion M. Mar 2017
Overall quite disappointed by the house and its amenities. The location is great if you are looking for a retreat, but far from shops and restaurants. Sisters being slow during winter time, our only option was to drive 45 minutes to Bend to find good grocery shopping and life. The house itself is outdated and could use a refresh. It is well equipped but everything looks old. We found the pictures a bit misleading in that regard. We usually don't mind older homes as long as they are clean, and this one was not: hair in the bathtubs, carpet badly vacuumed, sinks and toilets were questionable. For the premium price of the overall stay and cleaning fees, I was expecting a better place all together. Last, there was an extra $8 fee per day and per person to have access to the community hot-tub and gym. Nice and modern resort amenities but quite pricy on top of the housing.
Manager response:
We are sad to see this guest was disappointed. We do note in each Black Butte Ranch listing that there is a daily per person fee charged by the Ranch upon entry; we apologize if this came as a surprise. Had we been notified of a poor clean we would have sent housekeeping back out to rectify it, but we never heard anything. We will follow-up with housekeeping regarding our high cleanliness standards. We hope to have another chance to impress this guest. Thanks!

Awesome place, will definitely return
Janna G. Feb 2017
We had a wonderful time in this home! Wish I was back there now! Our group included 2 couples and 2 children, so the sleeping arrangements were perfect.
We loved the views from the house onto the golf course and water. We thoroughly enjoyed the fireplace and never ending wood pile to keep warm while it snowed! We will definitely be back!
Julie N. Feb 2017
This was a great rental in many ways. Being on the golf course was so quiet and the view out the main windows was fantastic. There was about 3 feet of snow on the ground during our visit and it was wonderful to be able to ski right out the back door. Super comfortable couch and chair for reading and lounging, kitchen was well stocked. Our one huge complaint was that both of the king beds in two of the bedrooms were hard as a rock. It was like sleeping on cement - truly awful beds. Replacing them with comfortable beds would be a huge asset to this house!
Danielle F. Jan 2017
We stayed for 3 nights and this was a Christmas gift for my parents from out of town. We loved the lay out of the house. There was so much snow that we had great cross country skiing and it was beautiful everywhere on the ranch. It was an all around great trip. I would definitely stay here again!
Janet J. Dec 2016
This house is gorgeous, private, incredibly clean and the owners/management team obviously take pride in making the house feel like home to renters. The front porch and driveway had been shoveled of snow and ice, there was wood in the fireplace, and each room was stocked with anything we might need-a blender, extra blankets, laundry detergent . To say the mattress and pillows in the master bedroom are firm is an understatement but this was the only minor negative to an otherwise perfect stay. We will definitely stay again-next time we'll just bring our own pillows.
NATALIE B. Dec 2016
Our family of 4 stayed at this house over Christmas weekend. We had an awesome time exploring the snow in Black Butte, hitting the slopes at Hoodoo Ski Resort and chilling in the jacuzzi in the evenings. The house was cozy and clean. Just perfect for warm fires and cozy nights.
Jennifer G. Sep 2016
This house is a great property with amazing view of the golf course. Open spaces on one level, senior friendly, but not wheelchair accessible. Close to sisters, lakes, waterfalls, and nature. Easy drive to enjoy the great outdoors, or just stay and enjoy the amenities on property. I would return!
Travis F. Aug 2016
This place was perfect, except there were twin beds in the 3rd room (we knew that going in) and we wish they were a queen or king. Location was great, very close to the lodge with plenty to do. The massive porch on the 11th fairway of Big Meadow almost doubles the livable sqft when it is sunny out. Very comfortable layout with the kitchen and living in the middle of the house. We will definitely stay here again, we just wish they took small pets.
Haley O. Jun 2016
Loved the location and floor plan/layout. Plenty of room.
Tracy J. Jun 2016
We had a blast at this rental. Part of the home could use updating, but it's still lovely and well taken care of. We hope to come back soon!
Kristin B. Jun 2016
We stayed at this house for 5 nights over Memorial Day weekend. The view of the golf course is gorgeous and the house is really a great choice for families, especially with small children. There are two "sleeping wings" off of the main kitchen/living space with pocket doors to be able to give the sleeping kids some quiet space while the grownups stayed up. Really well stocked kitchen and we loved all of the different spaces in the living area for eating/sitting/visiting. Great for hospitality!
Valarie L. May 2016
The expansive deck looking out on the fairway and a lake in the background was fabulous. The layout of the house was also nice
Lisa R. Mar 2016
We were really in need a a getaway for some rest and relaxation--this ended up being the perfect spot. The view is amazing, overlooking a lake and the 11th fairway of the big meadow course and the location is very private and quiet.

The home is comfortable--mostly older furniture and only partly updated. That didn't really matter to us, it was clean and stocked with everything we needed. The kitchen was great. We liked the home and location so much we tried to book a week in August, but it's already booked through the summer months.

As a side note, the Vacasa description of the home says it has a library and a laundry room--heads up, the library is a small bookshelf in the living room and the laundry room is a closet in one of the bathrooms.

Our group of 3 adults recently stayed in this home.. It was nice and we paid quite a bit for 2 nights - over $500.00. In addition, we had to pay a resort fee to Black Butte for amenities we did not use. I knew that coming in, but it would be nice to have a choice. The home came with "instructions" for check out. We were asked to strip the beds, start a load of laundry, run the dishwasher and take out the trash. There was a paper in the home that instructed us to take the trash to a place near the grocery store. We did, but could not find it. Upon asking at the store, we were told by the store clerk that this has not been done for about 4 YEARS!! She told us that obviously the paperwork in the home had not been updated for quite some time. I feel that if we are paying that much money for two nights, that we should not having to be stripping the beds, doing laundry, taking out the trash. I didn't mind running the dishwasher, but I don't think we should be expected to do any more. We are more than paying for cleaning service with the cost of renting the home. Also, if you want guests to do things, then I would suggest having the paperwork for this be ACCURATE and UP TO DATE. I am not looking at this in a naive way. Our family has a vacation home so I know the costs and what it takes for upkeep. Asking guests who are PAYING to stay there to also do housework is a bit over the top.

We loved our stay at this beautiful location. The house is well stocked with everything you need. Plenty of cabinets and closets to store your things.
