The large deck was just perfect for morning coffee chats and evening dinner and drinks. We appreciated the provided toiletries.

The house was fine for us. It was very small but served it’s purpose. The deck was the best part. The only real negative feedback I can give is that the dryer was very slow to dry and the house was advertised as having a gas grill, but when we got there it was a cheap charcoal grill. We made it work but the advertisement needs to be updated.

The house was perfect for a low key trip. The house is an easy walk to the beach with access directly beside the house. It was an easy 10 min walk to town.
I’m chocking up the less than stellar review to poor timing. Without all the unfortunate events that happened I would have rated this house a 4 but due to the inconveniences I’m going with a 3. We did encounter a few bugs in the house, mostly ants but there were a few large cockroaches. The pest control guy came by while we were there so this issue might be resolved. The biggest issues came when the AC went out on our third day there. We noticed when we returned home from Charleston that evening. When I called to report the issue, I was told that it would be the next day before someone could get out there. However, after asking about my options for the night, they did get someone out pretty quickly. There was a major issue requiring the AC unit to be replaced a couple of days later. The next day we were given portable AC units which helped tremendously. When the AC unit was replaced we were left without hot water until the next morning.
