This beautiful home is located directly across the street from the beach, featuring ocean views from the upper deck and a gorgeous, private, infinity-edge pool with a corner spa. This family-friendly home has many unique features, including a gourmet kitchen, high ceilings, Australian cypress and stone flooring, as well as an elevator from the garage level all the way to the second floor. One of the decks features comfortable furnishings and even a swing! You'll also find a gas grill in case you'd like to treat your guests to delicious al fresco meals.

This home is located in central Isle of Palms, just steps away from the beach and a quick one-mile drive down Palm Boulevard to the local grocery store and restaurants. Also just one and a half miles away is the Isle of Palms Marina, which offers boat rentals, tours, and island excursions – something for everyone! Downtown Charleston is located just 14 miles from Isle of Palms, where you can enjoy shopping, fine dining, and historic tours of the area.

Things to know:
The pool can be heated upon request! 48 hours notification is required and a pool heat fee of $65 plus tax per day must be paid prior to check-in. Please also note that the pool spa only gets as warm as the pool when heated.

Love the space this home provided for our family. It was very comfortable and everyone had a great time. The weather was unseasonably cool and we wished the spa heated up a bit more. Otherwise, no complaints!

We visited this home in Isle of Palms for a week with two families (4 adults and 5 kids ranging from 6-13). Overall, the setup and layout of the home was great and highly functional. The dual master bedrooms upstairs and 4 bedrooms downstairs worked perfectly for two families.

There were a few small issues that could be resolved pretty easily, but should be brought for attention. First, the bedroom and bathroom doors do not have locks. This is an odd design error but presents some challenges for a large home shared by multiple families. Also, if you choose to heat the pool the hot tub will not work (they operate from the same heater). So, you need to choose between a hot tub and a heated pool. Lastly, the front master shower struggles to find an optimal water temperature (either freezing or scorching hot).

One recommendation would be to add a WiFi extender downstairs. Unfortunately, Verizon has very limited coverage (almost none) on the island, so it’s actually important to remain connected to the home internet. The area around the pool can be a “dead zone” and you won’t be able to receive calls/messages unless you have a different carrier than Verizon. Certainly not the fault of the home, but would be a nice added amenity.

Vacasa is very limited on the listing of amenities. However, there are lot of beach toys (chairs, umbrellas, etc.). I believe that this home is new to Vacasa, and the listing simply needs some updating. The downstairs garage has a ping pong table, dart board, extra fridge, and multiple coolers for use by renters. The home is right across from the beach access...super convenient.

Bottom line: great home and location. Cool layout but does require some TLC. Strongly suggest changing the door knobs so that you can lock the bedrooms and bathrooms (particularly shared bathrooms). We loved the home but would only rent again if the door knobs were fixed.

Easy check in and out. Staff receptive to call for broken toilet seat. House had several amenities including kitchen, pool, beach items. Pans could use replacement. Liked the keypad in and out. Neighbor appreciative of our stay - 'I didn't even know you were there.'

The house was very nice . It had a few maintenance issues. The door to the pool didn’t lock , needs to be adjusted and the air on the mid level did not cool the 2 front rooms on that floor even with the vents open all the way

The furniture, especially in the family room and dining area is filthy and it needs to be steam cleaned. One of my friends dropped her earring that rolled under the couch and it was so dusty and gross and full of dead bugs and dust (and a misplaced sock and ping pong ball) underneath both sofas. Also the ice maker was so slow we ended up having to buy bags of ice from the store or carry bowls of ice from the downstairs fridge. The games have missing pieces and parts so I suggest to go through those and pitch what doesnt have all the pieces.
