I wouldn't want my name associated with this property. We stayed at a separate property managed by Vacasa in Indian Rocks which was very nice. This property was awful however, especially for the price (understand the location was good and it was peak season by the property was really terrible). Thus the mid-range of recommendation for Vacasa.

None of the house seemed clean. The front screen door was covered in cobwebs and sand, the bathtub had stains, the furniture was old and dirty, there were stains on the ceiling, the pullout couch when opened up was disgusting with crumbs. My daughter refused to sleep on it so was relegated to the small couch.

Everything is old, outdated, and of terrible quality. The furniture was extremely cheap and seemingly could have been purchased from a thrift shop or picked up from what someone leaves out for trash. No reclining chairs or anything of any quality that would make a renter comfortable.

We loved our stay here. A cute and quiet beach villa with a great view on the back porch.

Clean, well stocked kitchen & linens. Sofa showing wear. Microwave on top of fridge & for those who are short it is difficult to use.

The location of the villa was convenient and made accessing the beach easy. Unfortunately, the overall cleanliness of the villa was disappointing. When we arrived, we found dried food on the floor in front of the dishwasher, a Hall’s cough drop wrapper on the bathroom floor, a moldy shower curtain liner, mold on the tub surrounds, cobwebs on the chandelier over the dining table, carpets that had not be vacuumed, and a curtain drooping from the rod. The cleaning supplies were very limited-2 dishwasher pod and a quarter of a roll of paper towels.
Manager response:

Location. Location. Location. Easy walk to beach, The Market , and biking/running trails. Surrounded by Nature ! Deer grazing 20 feet behind the porch. A bit stuck in the 1980's in the design and furnishings.

The location is amazing, and everything about the stay was great. The rental needs a lot of upgrading. It was very clean, but it needs repairs such as the bathroom.

Condo is in a wonderful location and the kitchen had ample dishes and pots and pans. The furniture and paint and decor is very old and pullout couch should be checked.
Manager response:
Thank you for your review, Jill. We appreciate your feedback and we have let local staff know about your suggestion to check the pullout couch. We hope to host you again in the future!

Steps from the beach! Beach wasn’t crowded at all. I loved the screened in porch as well. Listing was clean and well-appointed. Would love to go back!

The location to the beach was amazing!! The general upkeep of furniture and mattress was below standard. There was a smell of urine in the living room. Beautiful area though!
Manager response:
Tiffany, thank you for taking the time to give us your feedback. We apologize for the details that were amiss. Our housekeeping team has addressed the off smell. We are so glad you enjoyed your stay and look forward to hosting you again in the future!

The location (close to beach) and space was perfect for two people. We didn't do any cooking but the dinnerware and flatware we did use was all clean. Other than that this place needs a complete remodel. It is dark, dingy and had a musty smell. The furniture, lamps, wall hangings and overall decor are so old and tired. I put a blanket over the couch because otherwise I wouldn't have sat on it. The back door lock is broken. The paint is peeling off the walls in the bathroom. The screen door was loaded with cobwebs. I have been vacationing in Kiawah since the early 1990's - have stayed in many rentals - this is the first time I have to give a bad review. Kiawah is so beautiful and to walk into this depressing villa did not make a good fit. The owners bought this place in 1983 - time to put some money into it. Never again!!
Manager response:
We are sorry to have been unable to provide you with a pleasant and relaxing vacation experience, Theresa. We strive to maintain a standard of excellence in home cleanliness and upkeep for the comfort of our guests in addition to being readily available to assist in addressing any questions or concerns that might arise. We appreciate the opportunity to address any outlying concerns with our local team to ensure our service standards are being thoroughly met. Thank you.

We stayed in this unit and an adjacent unit back-to-back nights in early June 2020 and could not have been happier. The beach was an easy 3-minute walk from the unit, which had everything we needed. It was great to only carry with us what we needed to the beach for a few hours at a time and return if we needed. The condo features are by no means modern, but it does the job well!

Unit was close to the beach. Very clean.

The furniture in the unit I rented was old And dilapidated and should be replaced
Manager response:
We're very sorry for the inconvenience during your stay. This issue occurred under a previous management company. Our local teams are working with that company to learn from feedback and fix any issues. We just started managing this unit and would love for you to try staying with Vacasa in the future to experience our world-class service.
