The shared pool and hot tub are ideal for escaping the heat or soaking after a long day of exploring the surrounding area. Plus, the sand is mere steps away for a soothing walk down the coast.

Pick up beach gear or souvenirs at one of the local beach stores and spend your days laying on the sand. If you want a bit more adventure, head over to Camp Helen State Park to paddleboard or hike along the many scenic trails.

Honestly, you really cannot beat this unit's proximity to the ocean but I was really disappointed in the cleanliness of the unit especially after the promises of "enhanced cleaning protocols." Every surface was sticky and the carpets are long overdue for a wash. There was a smashed dead bug on the wall of the bathroom and some sticky food or drink mess all over the breakfast bar. Thankfully, we were really only in the unit to sleep and change. Would not stay again.

We spent 4 nights here and it was a great little getaway for our family. It was clean with a well-stocked kitchen. We had everything we needed, including extra comforters and blankets for the chilly nights. Super convenient to the grills, pool, hot tub and BEACH plus what a view!

We’ve now stayed at Latitude 29 twice and it is a WONDERFUL, low key, not crowded location PERFECT for a vacation during covid. We really liked the layout of this unit with the pass through bathroom set up.

The location of the condo to the beach and pool was fantastic. The balcony is nice and big, the living area was spacious as well, and having 2 bathrooms was great. My kids loved the bunk beds as well.
I was disappointed with the cleaning, as I was expecting a true "deep clean" as had been described. The cleaners showed up around the same time we did (which was a couple hours before true check in time) and were only there for maybe 30 minutes. I'm not sure if another company/team takes care of changing the linens as I did not see them come out with the dirty linens and the beds and towels were fresh. There was hair all over the floors as well, which was the biggest turn off. If a deep clean is advertised, I expect that, and it didnt feel like that is what happened. It was adequate, but definitely room for improvement.
Overall our stay was pleasant, and if the cleaning was vamped up, I would have no issue recommending!

Best thing about the condo was its location. Just steps away was the pool deck with hot tub. Out the gate from the pool deck was the beach. You can't get any closer than that. The condo itself wasn't the best fit for us. Though it slept 5 or 6, we really needed more room. The ones who slept on the bunks and couch didn't have much of an area for their belongings so their stuff seemed to be piled up around the condo. I didn't choose my rating because of this, as it clearly stated it was a 1 bedroom. I gave a lower rating because of the mediocre cleaning that happened before our stay. It was apparent that it was a quick straighten up and replace the sheets and towels. The floors needed a better vacuum, there was food in the crevices of the sink and stove, the shower curtain was mildewed, the coffee table had a drink spill on it and there were hand prints on the patio windows. It did not give me much confidence that it was cleaned or sanitized very well before our stay. We made the best of it though and spent most of out time at the pool or beach.

We loved the close proximity to the beach! The pool, little kiddie pool, and hot tub were also great additions to the experience. The view was fantastic; the ocean was clear and beautiful, and just steps from our unit. The apartment was just right for our family of 4.

We had a great stay in #20! Kitchen was fully stocked, the room was very clean and comfortable and the view was spectacular. We are hoping to get the same unit next summer. The unit is located right next to the stairs which made it very easy and fast to go from the unit to pool to the beach. We used a beach chair and umbrella service (Dillion’s) which made things very easy.

PROS- Right on the beach just a few steps from the water, very quiet family-oriented complex, perfect location in laid back Sunnyside/Laguna away from crowds and traffic of PCB
CONS- unit was spacious enough but very outdated and worn furnishings, carpet appeared to be original, some rooms had no overhead lighting of any kind only lamps? No washer/dryer in unit, had to pay to use laundromat which had limited hours, and office on sight was almost always closed

We will not stay at unit #20 again or any other unit managed by Vacasa. The door code to get in the unit did not work and I had to wait on hold for almost 2 hours to talk to someone to get the correct door code. Once we were in the unit we discovered that it was extremely dirty. I then had to wait on hold for another hour to report that. They said they would send someone the next day to clean it and to get some of our costs refunded but neither of those ever happened.
