This is a nice property in one ski hill with a great view of peak 8. Like the layout and the kitchen and bedrooms were clean.

Overall impression was fine when we checked in. Unfortunately we immediately noted that the housekeeping was not as clean as was promoted. Both baths had dirty bathmats in front of the showers, the overhead fans literally had tendrils of dust hanging from them, there were rings marks from glasses on the bedside tables and the dining table. One bed had only one pillow and the extra pillows in the closet had yellow stains on them. I immediately called the management company (Vacasa) and within an hour a housekeeper showed up with clean pillows, mats and dust rags. A few days later we needed to use the advertised washer/dryer but the washer would not turn on. Another call placed and maintenance showed up the next day and got the washer working. The shower and sink in one bath drained very very slowly and that was reported, but not fixed while we were there. Shower took about 20-30 min to drain. The kitchen sink spout has an extendable hose on it and that would not retract completely so was always dangling. That was also reported.
The kitchen had enough basic tools for our purposes. There is cutlery and dishware for 10. One cupboard was full of all types of glassware.
The location is good at the bottom the Peak 8 lifts. Very quiet at night, a couple miles from downtown but easily reached via the gondola or car. One evening a bear wandered by but was not a threat - resort workers were aware and keeping an eye on it.
Currently, due to the viral pandemic, the game room is not open. The pool and hot tub are available but an appointment must be made ahead of time.
The carpeting is obviously older and could be updated, as well as the furnishings. we were a little leery of the bed quilts as they are also older and could have been washed. Or perhaps we are extra sensitive to everything now....
Overall, it's nice unit for no more than 4 people in a good location. If the maintenance and housekeeping (please clean under the beds also - I dropped something and was surprised to find 3 empty water bottles there) folks do their jobs correctly, it's quite pleasant for a week.
Manager response:
Hi, Jeme! Thank you for telling us about your stay. The faucet and drains are being handled by maintenance, and the property manager is looking into getting the carpet deep cleaned. We hope to see you again!
