We have lived here for 3 years (my husband is stationed here) and I have wanted to have a staycation since we got here. We just got orders to move, so now was as good a time as ever. A couple of My friends from high school met me here and we had a great time. Originally, I booked a condo at a different location and they canceled 2 days before check-in, thankfully, this condo was available! We were so sad, but it was a blessing in disguise! The condo was VERY roomy. There’s a large living room and dining table. The beds were comfy, there’s a ton of extra stuff in the closet (chairs, boogie boards, beach umbrella, etc), it is updated, the shower/bathrooms were nice, and we had everything we needed to cook/clean. The washer and dryer were also very convenient as well (loved not having a ton of laundry to do when I got home today). The only downfall of the condo is that it’s not beach front. There is a tram service provided by the resort that will pick you up, but still, you will have to walk a ways down the beach to set up if you don’t rent TOPS’L’s umbrellas/chairs, and the service does not run after 5pm. We had kids with us, so we had a ton of stuff we had to carry, and it was quite a workout getting everything back and forth. Once you get out of the sand the walk isn’t too bad, but if your kids are tired from being on the beach all day and don’t want to walk.. I highly suggest taking a stroller or wagon to haul them back and forth! lol
