The interior boasts laid-back wood paneling and an open floor plan. There are large windows for natural light and hardwood floors throughout. A bearskin rug decorates the wall and there are spots for everyone to sit near the wood stove and relax. The bedrooms are located upstairs and will sleep up to eight guests. There's a master with a California king and a daybed (one twin). The second bedroom contains a full-size bed in an antique frame and a set of twin bunk beds, as well as access to a second-level deck. You'll have a bathroom with a shower on this level as well.
Additional amenities include a washer/dryer, a CD player, and child/adult games.
This location is ideal for relaxing and staying close to the home's lush and naturally landscaped 20 acres. Relax in the hot tub or gaze out at the strait. If you do want to head out, you can lace up your hiking boots and head to Olympic National Park for the day.
Take the ferry to Victoria, BC for an international day trip! Port Angeles also has a number of restaurants when you don't feel like cooking and in nearby Sequim, you can wander lavender fields or explore the Dungeness National Wildlife Refuge.
Our family of 10 enjoys this cabin! It was beautiful. The views were amazing.

We were thrilled with the views, privacy, cleanliness, and comfortability of the home. The hot tub did not get hot, just lukewarm, so we were not able to enjoy it. Both grills are in terrible shape, so maybe don't plan on using them to cook.

Enjoyed the spectacular view, hiking Hurricane Ridge and eating at H2O in Port Angeles. Definitely would stay again.

Beautiful house, fully furnished with an amazing view of the mountains and the valley below. The hot tub was greatly appreciated after each day of hiking

We have 3 beautiful nights in this cabin. The hot tub under a bright sky was the best. But in general this is a great location just a few minutes driving from hike trails, awesome views and the town. I definitely want to come back with all my family and enjoy a bqq outside.

We rented this house for a girls weekend and it was absolutely perfect. The view is amazing and there is a fire pit and hot tub. We took a day trip to Victoria, hit up the Crab Fest in Port Angeles and drove up hurricane ridge in the national forest, all close by. But our favorite part of the trip was hanging at the house and enjoying the seclusion. We will definitely stay here again, especially if the furniture continues to be updated like the double bed upstairs!

We have stayed at this house twice now and we probably will return again. It's a beautiful place in a comfortable home to find some peace and quiet.

I have been to places around the Pacific Northwest and even over in Europe and there is no place that I have been that comes close to comparing the beauty and relaxing feeling I got from when I was here. The hiking trails around the towns of Port Angeles and Sequim are exquisite. The view from the house itself almost made me not want to go because it was so gorgeous! The drives you take to get to the hiking trails are filled with amazing views of the lush greens of the forests and the white caps of the mountains. I'm already planning my next Spring Break vacation and I really hope this place is open again! I'm most likely going to stay here for longer as well because two nights isn't enough time to soak in all of the views of the park. The entire time I was staying here, I just couldn't get over how beautiful the area around the house was. The pictures that are shown in the album do not do this place justice. It needs to be experienced first hand! Definitely my favorite vacation and I plan to stay here in the future.

The cabin's location is very remote (7 miles to the highway), but the views are breathtaking. The cabin was nice and cozy. The deck was large and could have gotten more use if not for the rainy week we were up there. We never got to use the hot tub or fire pit either. However, we did cook breakfast and a dinner at the cabin and found the kitchen well equipped. The rooms were good size, but the beds were most uncomfortable - the mattresses need to be replaced. It would have been nice to have seen more NW decor in the cabin (instead of family photos - made us feel we were in someone's house instead of a rental). A 4x4 is a must to get to the cabin especially during the rainy season. It was steep dirt road for about 2 miles. The trees need to be trimmed as branches were scraping our vehicle from both sides of the dirt road. The nearest grocery is 9 miles away so make sure you bring or pick up everything you need as the drive to and from is long and pitch black at night. In spite of the remote location and minor flaws, we enjoyed our stay at the cabin!

You won't beat this view!.... and the road up to the house is awesome! It's very secluded and private if that's what you're looking for. The house was very comfortable and we felt like we could "live" in it. I loved all of the books and movies! I would stay again for sure!

A beautiful house in the perfect location. Returned every day from hiking the Olympics to this fabulous house. Ate on the deck , relaxed in the hot tub and watched the beautiful sunsets. Exceeded all our expectations.

We had a wonderful weekend stay at this cabin! The drive was a little long and steep but the view was absolutely breathtaking one you made it up to the house! The rental was exactly as described as far as amenities. I would love to visit again, we loved it!

We had a lovely stay with our three children and dog in this remote cabin in the mountains - not only was the scenery incredible, but the cabin was a cozy and had everything we needed and more. Definitely would recommend this to any family who wants to 'get away from it all' - we also really enjoy exploring Salt Creek Recreation Area - beautiful beach!

Beyond our expectations, particularly the views from this aerie! Kitchen very well-equipped. Lots of comfy furniture, including on the covered deck. Next time we want to spend a week.

Loved it. Cozy, clean, getaway.

We had a wonderful, rejuvenating stay here. We especially enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub and watching the sun set over the mountains as the lights came on across the water in Victoria. And in the mornings a very cute bunny was in the front lawn munching on some grass, which gave us a smile at the start of each day. We would definitely go back!

In good weather, this home boasts a terrific view of both mountains and water. If the distance from town is understood and appreciated, the location lends itself to a very serene experience.

This place is high atop a mountain and has the most amazing views. The night views of Vancouver Island and the other nearby cities are also incredible. The house itself is just ok. The furnishings are not cohesive thought they are comfortable enough and functional. The deck is huge and is a great place to hang out, weather permitting. There was a sign that said we couldn't have a fire in the pit though there was no burn ban in affect. The hot tub was a great end to a long day of hiking, though the filter really did need to be cleaned. A few other things that are important to know ahead of time is that the road up is steep. Really, really steep. Also, you will have to pack your own trash out, but the transfer station isn't open every day. Other than those things, it was a nice stay with an incredible view. It is a bit far away from the hikes we were hoping on doing though, it is only because you have to come down the mountain slowly because it is so steep.

I would have liked a modern touch! The woodwork was beautiful but the kitchen and bathrooms were outdated. Including the hot tub. The view from the hot tub was beautiful but the water felt less than inviting

This place has a spectacular view of the surrounding area of Blue mountain, Port Angeles and Victoria BC. Plenty of room to relax, a well stocked kitchen and nice barbecue. This a perfect 'get away from it all' kinda place. It would have been perfect the hot tub was working.
