The great room is perfect for entertaining, offering floor-to-ceiling windows and a sectional with seating for 20! Friends and family can unwind with their favorite shows thanks to a 70-inch flatscreen TV with an electronic lift. Downstairs, the basement space has been converted into a game room with a Ping-Pong table and viewing room with cozy leather accent chairs. Beyond the living room is a casual entryway and adjoining mud room to keep the great outdoors just that - outdoors! The open-concept kitchen and dining room are a sleek space featuring seating for ten at the table, with five additional seats along the breakfast bar. Updated appliances like a six burner gas stove, French-door refrigerator, and dishwasher will make meal prep and clean up a breeze! This space was truly designed for entertaining, be that a formal Thanksgiving meal or company happy hour with appetizers and cocktails.

You'll have four full baths, one half bath, four master suites, and one additional bedroom to comfortably sleep up to 10 guests. The largest master offers a California king bed, two closets, and a private home office overlooking the treetops. This suite is full of luxurious touches, including a flat-screen TV that extends from its discreet frame above the bed, and a beautiful master bath with a two-person Jacuzzi tub.

Two additional master suites each have queen beds and private baths, and the fourth has a double and a twin trundle bed, along with its own private bath, making it ideal for a small family to share. The fifth bedroom is a sunny, cozy space tucked away near the staircase on the first floor with a comfortable twin-size daybed (please be aware this guest will need to access a full bath via one of the other bedrooms).

Thoughtful amenities including WiFi, whole home sound system, a washer and dryer, and multi-zone AC will make everyone feel right at home. In total, events of up to 37 guests are welcome to enjoy the space for a special gathering!

Outside, the enclosed back yard and patio provide the perfect backdrop for summer barbecues. A shade cloth and mature trees will help you beat the heat! Enjoy quiet mornings outdoors with a cup of coffee, or a bustling Fourth of July feast with help from a gas grill and large bistro table.

Ideally situated for relaxation or adventure, Boise is a burgeoning city, and this unique retreat is within a mile of the downtown core and Foothills parks! We loved staying in this delightful home. With the numerous master suites with private baths, comfortable environment, perfect deck with ample shade and a gourmet kitchen, we couldn't want for anything. Can't wait to stay here again!
Mel A. May 2019
The house is incredible! Grocery and park just a block away. House is fully equipped, SPACIOUS and everyone room has its own bathroom. The couch in the family room is showing it’s wear, but still functional. BEST house in the Boise area!!! We plan to use for our reunion next year!
Gary E. Sep 2018
The renovations are lovely but the historic character and charm of the house have been perserved!
Carolyn W. Sep 2018
Nice home for large family gathering. Parking is challenging though. If neighbors arrive before you do, you may find no parking anywhere near the home.
Sandra B. Sep 2018
our large group had lots of space and we were in easy walking distance to everything. the home is beautifully appointed. Every detail has been carefully considered. A true pleasure to spend there.
Brent W. Aug 2018
Loved the house. Everything was in such close proximity and the neighborhood was quite.
Daniel F. Aug 2018
The house is spacious, modern, well appointed, and clean. The location next to a park was ideal for our family with small children. We played wiffle ball, enjoyed the play ground, and set up a kids' archery set.
Being across the street from the Boise Co-Op and wine store was great. Central location with easy access to all of Boise. We would love to stay here again.
Melissa M. Jun 2018
It's so near downtown...

The only thing that was hard to deal with was the beds in the rooms...

3 beds upstairs, 1 king, 1 queen, 1 twin + 1 single.

1 bed main floor, and a small library room with a couch...

We didn't know that the bottom library room didn't have a full bed and we brought a small group that exceeded sleeping capacity in the house.. Make sure to check this with the service before renting!

Other than that, it's a home run... ping pong and pull up bars in the basement + a kick ass stereo and good speeds for internet I give it a A- instead of an A+ due to the sleeping arrangements.

Ps... the tv comes out of the ceiling with an old school electrocution control... How cool is that, right?
Mike C. Apr 2018
This is a really nice place. Clean and comfy. Modern amenities tastefully done. A short walk to Hyde Park or downtown. The Coop around the corner is also super convenient. We rented for a business trip and it slept 7 comfortably. We will definitely be back.
Shon S. Apr 2018
Very Comfortable. Nice size. Good beds. Lots of Bathrooms. Nice home.
Kris K. Jan 2018
Loved the attention to details. Very close to what we needed in town.
James R. Jan 2018
Ive stayed in this house a few times now with my young daughter. Its a beautiful home, with such a nice feeling as you walk in the door. Its in a wonderful location, and close to everything, especially the hospital my daughter was born.
My only HUGE criticism is it needs curtains/ drapes in the living and dining room desperately. Not only does it make the place colder so you are always cold even with the heating on, its removes all privacy and you feel like you are living in a fish bowl. It also is very unsafe as people can see when you are not at home and when you are. We also found we did not feel comfortable watching TV in the living room as people could see right in at night. Its a huge issue and really must be attended to. It would be also really nice to have the steam room back, that was possibly one of the best features of the house. I loved having one every few days, especially wiht the cold climate in Boise. Debbie, the local manager is FANTASTIC. If only more people were like her. We plan on staying again for a month next year, but really will have to see if drapes can be installed first. Its huge issue for us.
Manager response:
Hi James, we are delighted to read of your satisfaction with the service you received from Debbie and that you enjoyed the home’s close proximity to the local attractions. We have had window coverings installed on all the dining and living room windows, to add warmth and comfort to an already gorgeous home. Thank you.
Elizabeth B. Dec 2017
We loved the convenience, the amenities and the layout. The kitchen/dining/living room is large and well laid out. The kitchen is first class!!
Ronald & Amy R. Dec 2017
The home was perfect. It was roomy for our entire family. We had a total of nine people there for a few meals and there was no crowding around the table, the living room had enough seats for all. The bedrooms were quite accommodating as well with a full bath in each; doesn't get any better than that! It is in a very nice quiet neighborhood and the best part was the ability to walk downtown, which was less than a half mile. And for a quick run to the store the neighborhood co-op was so convenient.

The only negative I can say was the parking was problematic as the neighbor had to ask us to move.
McKenzie C. Dec 2017
This house was everything we needed and more! The open space and huge couch were great for lounging. The separate bed/bathrooms, huge master with walk-in shower, and jacuzzi tub were perfect for privacy. The kitchen is beautiful and stocked with everything possible including baking essentials. The house is a very close walk to the Coop for anything we needed. We walked to downtown, Hyde Park and Camel Back Park-all easily accessible.
We had a couple toddlers that we had to get creative with keeping them off the stairs but overall this house is great and would definitely recommend!
Emily Y. Dec 2017
The Founders House was the perfect spot for my family to stay during our visit to Boise. We're a large group of 11 and this home had plenty of space. We loved how every bedroom had an ensuite! We also enjoyed cooking in the large kitchen and which was well
stocked with everything we needed. The living room sofa was huge and it was a great spot for everyone to hang out and have a place to sit. The home was spotless upon arrival and vacasa was great to work with! I highly recommend this home!
Megan K. Nov 2017
It was our first out-of-town Thanksgiving holiday and was just great. The lack of cable TV was a bit of a headlock but we got it figured out in time for lots of football!
Susan M. Nov 2017
Five Stars all the way! We couldn't have been more happy or pleased with this property. It far exceeded our expectations on all fronts. It was clean, well equipped and the home itself was absolutely lovely! We were thrilled to have all the natural light beaming in from the many large and gorgeous windows with views to the tree-lined street and snow-capped hills beyond. We can't wait to stay again! We absolutely loved it!
Laurie D. Oct 2017
We rented the Founders home so our immediate family could all be in one place, and it was perfect! The 4 bedrooms all very comfortable all with attached bathrooms was perfect for all 4 couples, one with two young children. The kitchen is well equipped, even the knifes were sharp! There is a park within walking distance of the house, which was great for the children and grandparents! We attended a family wedding and hosted a brunch at the house, there is so much space, it was very comfortable with extra people for the brunch to all visit. I would highly recommend this home and I would rent it again for our family if we are in the area in the future.
Suzanne J. Sep 2017
The place was delightful for our girl trip! We didn't want for anything. Her kitchen supplies were incredible. I have stayed at many rental units, and I have not seen a kitchen so well stocked with kitchenware, cooking utensils, etc. Really lovely and the host was very concerned about our satisfaction!
Jessica B. Sep 2017
We had a great experience renting while in Boise for a wedding and would highly recommend this rental to others. Some highlights were that our large group had plenty space to spread out and did not have to share restrooms (which have been beautifully renovated), the location was fantastic for trips to the co-op and a short walk to the farmer's market and Capitol Building, the large kitchen and dining room were very well-stocked and perfect for coming together as a family, and the outdoor patio was nice as well. Our kids loved the open downstairs room for playing and ping pong, and loved the park right next door. We also had an exceptional experience working with Vacasa; Debbie was lightning fast with responses and super helpful.
Scott B. Aug 2017
I have stayed at this house a few times. Its proximity to downtown is amazing. Co-op right next door for food. Spacious - seems like it was designed for large gatherings.
Eric B. Jul 2017
This was our third stay at this home - it's the perfect spot in Boise.
Eric B. Jun 2017
We've stayed here several times. The location is perfect - in the North End, close to downtown - right near the coop. And the photos make it clear just how great of a house it is.
Cheryl C. May 2017
We loved the house, the decor, and everything about this experience. We will definitely come back again. Thank you!
Beth C. May 2017
The location of this home was perfect for our Leadership Team from the University of Idaho. The set up was awesome. We appreciated having a bathroom with each bedroom and then the half-bath for daily use by the whole group. This is a lovely home near downtown and within walking distance to the Boise Co-Op and restaurants. We enjoyed our stay in Boise.
Chris P. May 2017
This was the perfect house to gather the family and attend our son's graduation from BSU. Parking was a bit of a challenge, but the location was great. Loved that we could walk to downtown! We'll definitely be back!!
Kerste H. May 2017
It was just as advertised. Close to Downtown and we enjoyed the shopping, dining and the Saturday Farmer's market. We walked all over. Watch out for Vacasa's 30 day cancellation policy!
Eric B. Apr 2017
A large, beautifully renovated home in the North End, next to downtown. Perfect!
Erin J. Apr 2017
Secluded and gorgeous renovation. Walking distance to the co-op and other Boise highlights.
Karen M. Apr 2017
We stayed here with 4 couples. The house is amazing and had everything we needed. We all had our own master suites and loved the large kitchen for making communal meals. Great location! We will stay here again for sure!

Jennifer A. Mar 2017
This is the perfect place to stay! Modern, clean, updated house. It is very spacious, we were in town for my dad and sisters birthday, we were able to comfortably have our whole family over for a BBQ. The kids loved the bonus room downstairs. All the bedrooms have their own bathrooms attached so we all felt we had our own privacy, but would all gather in the huge great room downstairs... so much better than staying in a hotel. We look forward to coming back to Boise and staying at The Founders House!!
Wendy K. Feb 2017
Our family, 6 adults and 2 kids, stayed here for four nights. It is a beautiful home with wonderful amenities. Easy access to downtown Boise and the wonderful eateries and coffee shops. Parking is limited, with only two available spaces, so if you are bringing more cars, someone might not be able to park right in front. We would definitely stay here again if we find ourselves back in Boise.
Julia E. Jan 2017
We had a lovely time in Founder's Home for Christmas. All the touches -- including lovely holiday trimmings. We all love to cook and found the kitchen to be very well equipped. We also loved the sound system. The house was light and bright and we couldn't imagine being more comfortable or well cared-for!
Christine I. Dec 2016
Beautiful home! If I return to Boise I would love to stay here again!
Megan P. Nov 2016
It was wonderful!
Jimmy M. Oct 2016
We had a very nice stay at this property. There was plenty of room for two families. The home is nicely located in the historic downtown part of Boise. They are near completion with a nice remodel of home - just some painting left to do. Our only real concern was the smell of cologne on the bedding of the master bedroom - which made us wonder if the bedding had been changed.
Tom R. Oct 2016
We had a good stay and overall this is a great property. The house itself is beautiful and spacious. Having full suite bathrooms in each room is really a bonus. The electronics for lighting, TV, stereo are a bit over-engineered and took some troubleshooting, testing, etc. to use properly. Wish the sprinklers could have been set on timer to run at night instead of daytime when ourselves and visitors needed to navigate the muddy sidewalk, dodging water spray as best we could. Overall if our plans take us to Boise again, we would consider this property as an option.
Trent H. Sep 2016
Parking is limuted, but a great place to stay!
John H. Sep 2016
Our group has been renting houses for the past ten years for an annual get away and all agreed that Founders House was the best. Great location, large, no expense spared with the renovation. You can't go wrong with this property.
Julie F. Aug 2016
The house was great size for our family reunion. The kitchen was great size for large family dinners. The kitchen, dining and living rooms are all connected so creates a good open environment so everyone can be together. The four bedrooms each have their own bathrooms. The den bedroom is off the kitchen and is a futon for 1. The house was clean and very nice.
Eric B. Aug 2016
This home is in Boise's North End, which is the neighborhood you want to be in, as you're between downtown and the mountains. It's a large, beautifully renovated home, just a few blocks walk from all the restaurants downtown.
Ruby P. Jul 2016
We enjoyed the house very much and would definitely stay again. Everyone had some space of their own and it was a wonderful week!
Ed F. Jul 2016
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Founders home. It was well equipped with everything you could need! Well layed out with lots of space for the whole family! Conveniently located! Can't wait to come back again!
Lisa L. Jul 2016
Beautiful home. Wonderfully appointed. Master Bathroom is amazing!! So easy to walk to downtown Boise.
Kelley B. Jul 2016
We had a wonderful time at this property. The space was perfect for the 9 people we had staying there. The open concept and abundance of seating was wonderful.
Eric B. Jul 2016
The perfect home, the perfect neighborhood. A large, recently reconstructed home, 5 blocks from downtown, and a quick jog to the mountain trails. Five bedrooms, four of which are masters, a great kitchen, the largest couch I've ever seen (with room for everyone), and a game room with ping pong downstairs.
Eileen D. Jun 2016
This was the perfect rental to accommodate 5 couples in style. The bedrooms with private baths gave everyone the space they needed. The dining area and living room were large enough for everyone to gather and socialize. The TV made us feel like we really were at the NBA finals. Debra, the local agent, was attentive and toured the house with us. The place was situated perfectly, close to grocery stores and downtown. I have nothing but good things to say about this rental. Thank you for making our experience so positive.
Steven W. Jun 2016
The home is in an excellent location as well as a great place to spend time. Wonderful master bedroom suite and master bathroom. The shower/tub/steam room is incredible. A few issues with AC units freezing up which was annoying and cost some members of the group some sleep. Debra, the property manager of Vacasa was incredibly responsive and helpful at every turn. Best property manager I've ever dealt with by far.
Marty H. May 2016
We didn't use the home to its capabilities, but we could not have been more impressed. The rooms are more comfortable than most luxury resorts and the kitchen is something we'd love to have at our home. The large living room was the site of a family sing-a-long where a dozen people were able to all sit together extremely comfortable and share one of the most memorable evenings ever. But don't get me started on what we called the Spa. The shower, tub, steam room helped us relax and recover. We have already started trying to schedule our next reservation. Thank you!!
Patricia A. May 2016
Great house for a group. Nice that there are 4 bedrooms with their own bath. Very clean & in a great location. I would definately stay here again.
Sheila C. May 2016
Great location and set up for out visit. We very much enjoyed staying all together in one spot. Having four bedrooms with bathrooms attached helped our large group get ready for the Wedding event easily.
Patricia M. May 2016
The perfect place to gather with family to share in the exciting weekend. Location was ideal, the beautiful, spacious and comfortable house became our "home" .
Privacy for each couple/individual, open areas for dining, playing ping pong(a hit with all 3 generations) and comfy beds to rest. It met and exceeded our expectations! Thank you!
Cory V. Apr 2016
Four of us guys went away and were very happy to find this home... Everyone could have their own space and their own bathroom the house was clean and remodeled well. We spent a lot of our time here and it was really nice.
Kevin S. Mar 2016
This place was luxurious and within walking distance to downtown. Great stay!
Debra M. Mar 2016
Beautiful home, all of our family enjoyed each of their rooms! It was very clean and a great location close to downtown but in a quite neighborhood. Highly recommend this home!
Lillian D. Jan 2016
This house was perfect for us. We really enjoyed the large kitchen and oversized sofa for watching movies on the incredible TV. The master steam shower was amazing. The 4th bedroom bed (I think it's a full-size bed and has a foot board) was a bit small and cramped for my tall co-worker but other than that the other beds were amazing. We never used the basement, and even though there's a ping-pong table it feels a bit empty and not very cozy. Also there was no tin-foil and no scissors or paper/pens to write with in the kitchen. Other than these few things we really really loved the house and are hoping to stay here again. Thankyou!!
Manager response:
We appreciate you taking the time to share some of the highlights of your experience, as well as your recommendations of ways we can enhance the experience of our future guests. Your recommendations have been shared with our Local Operations Team as well. Thank you for choosing Vacasa!
KIm T. Jan 2016
Our family of 9 flew in from IL and CA. The house was wonderful for us. The expense put into the details in the house were amazing. It looked like it was straight out of a Restoration Hardware catalog. The U-shaped sofa was great for family gathering. Everyone tried out the steam shower which was wonderful after skiing. We walked to the Boise Co-op which was handy. Excellent location and house.
Sandra B. Jan 2016
What a great house! I held my team annual planning meeting there. It was the perfect location for the off-site meeting, with plenty of space, all the amenities we needed and walking distance to lunch spots.

The house is beautifully designed with every detail thought through. Each room has its own bathroom. The master has a fantastic spa-like feel, including a large Jacuzzi tub and a steam room. The kitchen has high-end appliances, two sinks, and a chef's cutlery. It is a real pleaure to spend time in this house.
Jill P. Dec 2015
This home is perfect for small and large gatherings. It has a beautiful open concept area and excellent upgrades. The location is walking distance to downtown and many restaurants. Each room has it's own bathroom and nice amenities. I would love to stay here again and would recommend this home to friends and family.
WENDY S. Nov 2015
We had 8 people staying at the house for a weekend seminar we attended. The house is everything we needed and was above our expectations. The roominess of the kitchen and living room was so nice. It allowed us to easily cook for 10 every meal Would recommend this for your stay and will definitely use again.
Trish B. Oct 2015
This home is so fresh, and open! I and my colleagues were extremely comfortable and had so much privacy. The neighborhood was beautiful and had so many things to do that we could walk too. We were in the midst of downtown in just a few minutes, and all of us enjoyed biking and hiking in the Boise Foothills just a couple blocks away. We will definitely be renting this home again while back in Boise for business!! Thank you for offering such a beautiful place to call home to us for a week!
Carrie P. Oct 2015
Good for four co-workers. One room was too small for our fifth coworker. Kitchen had a huge list of equipment but the pantry is sparsely stocked so plan eating out.

There is NO cable so no football! Sad.
Eric B. Oct 2015
They did an incredible job on the renovations, and the location is perfect! Walking distance to both downtown and the foothills. The open floorplan on the main floor was perfect for bringing our family together, and the sectional seats more people than any I've ever seen before. The kitchen was great if you like to cook (and there were great restaurants as close as a block away).
Lisa & Mark S. Sep 2015
We reserved this property from a Wednesday to a Monday as we were hosting our daughter’s wedding at a remote site 45 minutes outside of Boise on a Saturday. The interior of the house was very clean. Every inch of the house was used during our stay. The kitchen’s large counter space provided enough room for twelve pies to made and baked, while still accommodating everyday meals. The second sink and large refrigerator were also a plus. The basement provided space to organize wedding supplies. The bedrooms with individual baths made getting ready for the wedding easier and we did not run out of hot water! The beds were extremely comfortable. No comment on the hideaway bed, did not use. The large living room and dining room area easily accommodated the bridal party pre-wedding breakfast for twelve and the post wedding family gathering. Note: At the time we stayed there were no window coverings in the living room, dining room, or kitchen which made for little privacy in those areas. When it comes to parking there is no driveway or garage; all cars must be parked on the street (first come first serve.) We used the “no parking” area near the front of the house for loading and unloading of vehicles without any complaints from the neighbors.
Allison J. Sep 2015
We had a family reunion in Boise and this was the perfect house. Everyone had their own bed and bath, with lovely communal areas to gather. Easy walk to downtown restaurants and groceries. All in all, a lovely place to spend time.
Manager response:
Thanks for sharing your review. We hope you come back for your next reunion!
Becky O. Aug 2015
We celebrated our parent's 65th anniversary in Boise. Renting the house was nicer than getting motel rooms. The whole family was able to be together and enjoy the celebration.
Julie P. Aug 2015
This really was a beautiful home. The floor plan was very nice. We had my mothers 80th birthday celebration there and it was perfect for holding a special occasion. It was much bigger inside than we had anticipated. It also has a park within walking distance which was really nice for the kids and grandkids. Very nice!
