Walk to lifts
We enjoyed our stay at Tucker Mountain. Location great- easy few minute walk to the lift lines (not truly a ski in/ski out unit). Unit was on the smaller side but fit our needs. Clean and everything worked. Will likely stay there again in the future.
This is a very comfortable place to stay, but most importantly only a few steps to American Eagle and American Flyer ski lifts. We even went back to the place for a lunch it was so close.
The proximity to the lifts and the shuttle was great. We also enjoyed the library of DVD's.
Location - 5 star!! Located at the end of the hallway, right near the stairs that lead to the garage and outside.
Everything was perfect except for the bed. The bed receives a 1 star. Hardest bed we’ve ever slept on and the pillows are super flat. We had to pull the sofa bed from the living room and put it on top of the bedroom mattress to get decent sleep. If the bed were upgraded (even just a mattress topper) this would very easily be 5/5 stars.
I stayed in this condo last week for a conference at Copper Mountain. It was perfectly located, comfortable and updated. I loved that I was given the option to pay just a bit extra for a late checkout! My only complaint is the need to go out of your way to pick up the keys in Frisco and then juggle the parking pass. I was coming from the west and had to be in conference all day, so it was a huge inconvenience to drive to Frisco to pick up the keys. I would recommend if this company is managing places in Copper that they find a place there for key pickup. Otherwise, I would recommend this place!
We hope to have a new location up and running in Copper by the beginning of this winter season. We apologize for the inconvenience this guest went through.
Vacasa is very lucky to have local property manager Will working for them.
This was a perfect staging ground for reaching several great trout streams and other outdoor activities. For our purposes, a great value.
Clean, quiet, cozy, and convenient! Beautiful!!
Really nice spacious place. Nice place to walk/jog.
Stayed here with my wife and 9 year old for a week. Underground parking. Ski Locker. Very nice unit which is on ground floor.. It is small but has everything you need. Nice gas fireplace. Foldout couch is good for kids but probably not comfortable for adults for more than a night or two. I would probably put a smaller dining table in as the 6 person one takes up quite a bit of space. We would stay here again for sure. Key pickup/dropoff is in Frisco on the way. Easy on/off takes 5 minutes each way and you can get them 24 hours a day.
No issue at all with the place, but one with the overall experience. When I booked the place, I was not aware that vacasa was located in Frisco. So, on the day of our arrival, we could not pick up keys until 4:00 in Frisco. We skied that first day, parking in the free lot. Then we had to load up and drive to Frisco to get keys at 4:00. Other rental companies seemed to have a better system than this. We also had to be out of the garage at 11:00 on the checkout day, which cut up our ski day.
The property is exceptional! Tucker Mountain Lodge is located very near the American Flyer Lift, restaurants and shopping. The unit and common areas were very clean. We wish we didn't have to get the keys for the unit in Frisco, but other than that inconvenience, we enjoyed our stay there and heartily recommend it.
We stayed in Tucker Mountain Lodge #104 in West Village at Copper Mt. The condo was comfortable overall and well furnished and the location ideal. The only suggestion I could make is to replace the non-stick skillets which were worn out. Otherwise we found everything needed in the room. The bed was a hard but that may suit others better then me. However, the keys for the room were electronic and we had glitches on a couple of occasions, including on move in day when they didn't work. We had to get them reset which was a hassle (I assume that was a Vacasa process). Also, the add-on fees will eventually make this unaffordable ($300 of extra fees were added to our $1000 plus tax room).
Nice unit great location. Would consider a smaller dining table given the size of unit. Also, would provide guest with more storage space in closet as there were housekeeping items and large blankets and limited space in the one closet. I would also stress to guests that it is a key card not a physical key that allows you to the garage and unit. A bit of confusion initially not knowing the key card works for both garage and unit.
Vacasa always answered the phone when i had questions. Room was super clean and nice.
Booked Off Priceline.com. This place charges more for hotel fee than they do for room fee per night. Bogus. Don't book through this company.
We are sorry to see if any of the cost came as a surprise to this guest. Fees will vary from reservation to reservation depending on a variety of factors. Guests can view all fees and nightly rates prior to booking when using our personal website. Thank you!
We loved our stay at Copper Mountain! Our room at Tucker Mountain Lodge was very clean, comfortable, cozy and conveniently located to all of the shops and restaurants. There's always something to do in the Village for kids and adults, and the views of the mountains are beautiful. We would definitely stay here again!
really enjoyed our stay and the location. it's hard to beat.
Great little place for a couple to relax and be close to the slopes! So nice to be able to come back to the room during the day to eat lunch or take a little break. Right behind the main lodge in Copper center village! Great location!
Others complained about the bed and I made it a point to ask the property manager about it. But as suspected it boiled down to those people's preference. The bed was absolutely fine, in fact I inadvertently slept till noon and typically I don't sleep past 8am.
Hard to fault anything at this condo, it was well apointed, clean and cozy. Would happily stay again.
If they could tell the spa manager to turn the hot tub down a degree or two that would be nice, more like a steam cooker than a hot tub!
Wonderful property. Beautiful views. In the heart of Copper Mountain. Loved our stay here!
Great location! Great condo!
The condo was in a great place. Close to the slopes and shops. It was a very quite location as well. The only issue was the mattress in the bedroom, it needs to be switched out.
You are misleading people when you say ski in /ski out. This is not a ski in / ski out resort. You have to walk aways to get to the lift.
We are disappointed to see that you felt misled and will verify this information with the Property Manager and homeowner.
This condo was very convenient to the slopes and all shops and restaurants. My only criticism is the bed was uncomfortable. My husband and I were very comfortable there space wise. I think it would be very crowded with a 3rd or 4th person in there though. We loved the fireplace.
The unit is great and very close to everything Copper has to offer. The unit is well appointed and clean, but not maintained very well. Multiple burnt out light bulbs as well as a front door which would not shut unless it was adjusted with butter knife are unacceptable. In addition the management company did not return repeated phone calls and the check in instructions were not clear with incorrect information. More attention to customer service and maintenance would make this unit a perfect ski getaway!
We would like to apologize for the inconveniences this guest experienced during their stay. The Property Manager will address the light bulbs and front door lock. We are currently hiring more agents to work on the phones so that are easier to reach for guests.
The bedroom has a noise high pitched that comes and goes not sure what the origin of the noise it sounds like a water heater or .....but it ruins the relaxation and comfort that you expect when you are on vacation I would not recommend tucker 104 to anyone
We are sorry to see that this noise was the cause of so much dissatisfaction for this guest. The Property Manager will inspect it to see what can be done.
Everything was great about the condo, however the bed was so uncomfortable I would not stay there again.
We are very happy with the location and condo facility. would book again when go to copper mountain to ski! sofa bed is comfortable for my baby to sleep in.
Easy access too Mtn, very, very close to American Flyer lift and very close to shops and Resturants. Underground parking was great to have, reasonable prices at shops and Resturants. I just wish the lift tickets where more reasonable. Great beginner hill at Green Acres for all ages and only 20 bucks to Ski, this was great for my oldest who just started skiing this year! My other 2 boys where pleased as they race and their was plenty of terrain for them!
