Overall, the house was very nice. Clean, well-equipped, spacious. Vacasa was very responsive to even minor questions.
The house is advertised as being air conditioned. However, it is only "partially air conditioned," which we did not find out until we arrived. This means that there is a single remote-controlled unit high up on one wall of the house, which when it was 95 degrees and 95 percent humidity simply did not cut it. The local manager did bring us several fans upon request which helped a bit, but keep this in mind when renting in July/August.
We are happy you enjoyed your stay! We have this home listed with it having partial air conditioner so our future guests can see that now. We are glad that the fans helped a bit to cut down on the heat!

As happens on all our trips, we had lots of rain during our stay. That did not deter us from enjoying the beach or the bike path in between downpours. And during the downpours, the house was a comfortable, clean, and warm haven. We enjoyed several restaurants close by in Chatham, and a day trip to P-Town. I highly recommend this home for a vacation stay.

We very much enjoyed our stay at 5 Bobbies Land.

great house and floor plan.

The house was everything the website described! Beautifully furnished and great location. Had enough room for people to hang out as a group of retreat for their own time.

This home is well-maintained and perfectly equipped for a large group getaway. It is within walking distance of Forest Beach and only a 10-15 min drive to downtown Chatham. We really enjoyed the beautiful kitchen. The only negative is that there isn't much insulation, so you can hear everything in and out of bedrooms really easily. Other than that, we had a fantastic weekend at this home!

Perfect house, nice location. Love the kitchen.

The house was lovely and had everything we needed. As for food, I was glad we brought oil and seasoning as previous users didn't leave too much behind except for salt and pepper. There were some filters for the coffee maker, which was nice to have. I was expecting a slotted toaster but it was a toaster oven. There is a Stop and Shop nearby so it was convenient if we needed anything.
Since we were there in April there weren't many people around and we enjoyed the quiet. The beach is a short 5-10 min walk. There is tennis court available for public use. The TV reception was poor but WiFi was good.
Overall, a clean, well furnished and homey place to chill.

I stayed in this house for two nights in April during school vacation week.
Pro's The interior of the house is beautiful. Nice open floor plan, hardwood floors, nice woodwork and stonework along with high-end kitchen. It's a great location, walking distance to the beach and short drive to the center of town .
Con's: Being that I was only there for two nights, the 4 o'clock check-in felt late. I was informed that sometimes an earlier check-in is allowed but you're not notified until that day and unfortunately for me it was not available. There is also only one television in the house in the den/family room ( no TV in bedrooms) and they do not have cable. The TV they have is a smart TV so Netflix and Hulu is offered, but since the day we arrived was a Bruins playoff game it was a bummer to have to listen to it through our phone and not on TV. The ceiling in the master bedroom and the floor in the second-floor bedroom or one in the same, therefore there is not much of a noise buffer and you can hear the footsteps clearly above you.
Overall this is a beautiful home, in a great location and I would recommend it if you don't require much television .

I just returned from my vacation from Cape Cod at this property. I had a spectacular time and very relaxing in this house. It is the perfect get away to vacation with the family. It is in a very nice area with spectacular views all around, it is also a walking distance to the beach. This house has everything and more you will ever need. Its kitchen has top of the line appliances, it is every specious with very comfortable beds. I highly recommend this property for everyone who is looking forward to spend a fabulous family time at Cape Cod. You will love it!!!!!!

This home offered MANY kitchen amenities that made life as a chef easy. Also very close to Chatham's best family beach, Ridgevale. Would 100% stay in this home again!

Very spacious and comfortable home with off street parking. Loved being able to walk to the beach every morning to watch the sunrise.
Very quiet residential setting with lovely well maintained and landscaped homes on the block.

Great place to enjoy a summer vacation. Away from the hustle & bustle, but close enough to beach & activities. Very relaxing.

Our summer started perfectly this year with a short stay at 5 Bobbies Lane! The house was wonderful - lovely interior and great location. The beach at the end of the road was fun...but my kids enjoyed the beach at Oyster Pond better. Chatham itself is a lovely town and we spent many evening strolling through downtown.
The house was very comfortable - it had everything you need for a vacation rental. The street is peaceful and the neighbors are friendly.
Kelsey R.Jun 2016
This home was well decorated and had EVERYTHING we needed! It was a quick WALK to the beach.
Vicky W.Jun 2016
The house was equipped with everything one might need for a comfortable stay. Beds were great, linens were very comfortable. I would change nothing about the house. I wish it were mine????????
Beatriz M.Jun 2016
We enjoyed our stay. We had a few minor inconveniences which we reported, but overall, we really enjoyed our stay in a beautiful area. Very peaceful!

Had a great couple of days in South Chatham with family. This house offers a lot of comforts away from home. Close proximity to downtown Chatham and Chatham Bars Inn and a quick walk to the beach. The house is very nice and all wood but note there is no insulation between floors -- you can hear EVERYTHING in the evening -- so make sure you are close with your house mates! :)
Jill B.May 2016
We truly loved the location and the house, the quick walk to the beach, the restaurants close by, and the quiet neighborhood, but we were disappointed that the listing was not accurate about the amenities. There was no espresso machine, coffee grinder, or blender. We purchased about $100 worth of groceries that we couldn't use - whole bean coffee, espresso pods, and loads of fruit and veggies for smoothies. We were also surprised that we had to set up the deck furniture. Going on vacation typically doesn't mean having to haul heavy furniture up the stairs.

A beautiful home in beautiful Chatham. We had a wonderful time and were able to enjoy - unexpectedly - the beach down the street because of the warm weather on Marathon Monday!

We hope to rent again here this summer!!
Sarah M.Feb 2016
The house was in absolute perfect condition when we arrived and provided the perfect home base for a weekend away from the city. Loved the fun nooks and hang out spaces, the beautiful kitchen, and the awesome porch. Would absolutely rent the house again!

The cabin is about 15 minutes away from downtown Chatham, in a very quiet and lovely area. The house is is beautiful and perfectly kept, and Vacasa's service was excellent.
David R.Nov 2015
The house had everything we needed. Just a short walk to the beach. Plenty of space for 8 people. The kids enjoyed using the games and the adults enjoyed the comforts of home.
David B.Oct 2015
Our family members met up from Chicago, Washington, DC and Atlanta to spend 2 nights on the Cape before a family reunion. The house accommodated eight adults perfectly. It was well stocked with everything we needed. Half of our group spent the day in Provincetown and the other half stayed closer to the house and explored Chatham. There is no cable TV, however, so make sure your sports-addicted friends and family know that ahead of time.
Amy G.Sep 2015
Perfect for a small group of friends to gather. Beautiful kitchen and deck and gets a nice breeze.

A wonderful house in Chatham. Perfect for a family vacation.
