Close to everything, enjoyed the hot tub.
Comfortable, tons of blankets and warm places to lounge after boarding
The house was exactly what We expected, Janice was so helpfull and adressed all my questions in a timely manner.
I would deffinetly return for another stay. No problems what so ever. Thank you
The cabin was nice and decorated well. Unfortunately several things didn't work. The coffee maker and toaster burnt everything. No air not even a fan it was very hot and stuffy in the house. Besides those complaints it was a very nice stay decent beds overall we enjoyed our stay.
The coffee maker has been replaced, we turned down the toaster, and we have added a fan. Thank you!
Very cute and very cozy. Had everything you need for a perfect weekend with the kids..... except the ball for the foosball table. Lol Which I found at a store around the corner.
Walking distance to everything. Loved it and so did my kids. I will be back l.
The cabin itself was very cute, it was clean and looked like pictures on website. But it was advertised as having a washer and dryer, which to our surprise when we got there it was locked up. We called and there was an error in taking down the amenity online, but Vacasa was very nice about it and refunded us some $ because of it.
The location was great, near the lake and about a mile or so from downtown. The only thing is grocery stores were farther away, like 15 minutes. It's really close to a trail head and we were able to walk over and explore. My only complaint and it's really nothing to do with the cabin or management, but with the neighbor. Just not super pleasant to be next to. Used profanities, talking loud, and when I had run an errand I came back and there was a car parked in the middle of our driveway for like an hour and half. Was in process of getting it towed and then they come over and apologize and move it but still, just not what you want to deal with on vacation.
Overall I don't know if I would stay here again because of that, but the cabin itself is very cute and we had a fun time. The Vacasa staff was very friendly and helpful :)
I would definitely stay here again it was very quiet and peaceful and a good time with the family
Very relaxing an quiet. Spa was really nice. Home was perfect. Very clean. Would recommend to all my family an friends
This is a lovely little home for no more than four adults. Great location for the Village Shopping area and Restaurants. Grocery shopping a bit further. Would suggest that on a visit to Big Bear you have enough gas for the car as price are high for this area.
I had an issue with the neighbor on my first night , My husband and I arrived at the cabin around 10:30pm , we unloaded and got our son to bed by 11:00. We wanted to relax in the hot tub after a long work day and a long drive . We knew it was late so we kept our noise level down while we sat in the hot tub. After about 15 minutes a flashlight was shinning on me from the neighbors house for about 5 seconds. I thought to myself maybe we were talking to loud and told my husband lets whisper, about 5 minutes later we were flashed again by the flash light , and this time we ignored it . The person next door flashed us with the flash light a total of 5 times from their window and that when we got out of the hot tub. I called Vacasa first thing in the morning and spoke to Tina . She seemed sympathetic and looked for a vacant cabin right away but there were no vacant cabins or hotels to move us too, She told me to try to enjoy the best we could and if we had any other issues that we could call back and speak to Janice. The next day we went sledding and enjoyed our day in the snow . That night around 7:00pm we heard a loud noise coming from next door , the same house that shinned the flashlight at us . He was running a generator and continued to run it all night , We could hear the generator in both rooms in the cabin as well as in the hot. Not a very relaxing vacation , so disappointed because the cabin itself was very cute and cozy with an awesome backyard but the neighbor ruined it. I didn't feel comfortable going in the hot tub after the first night knowing there was no privacy . Very disappointed because we were looking forward to this trip
We’re extremely sorry this guest was subjected to the rude neighbor. As of March 2018, this tenant has moved out and no one resides in the home any longer. Thank you!
This is a very cute and cozy cabin and a great location. Would have been better had we been able to enjoy the entire property. We were disappointed that they did not let us know that the jacuzzi and back yard were taped off due to the deck cover being unsafe with heavy snowfall. They should of let us know prior to arrival so we would know what to expect. It was very upsetting after driving 4.5 hours to find this out. When we called, they said that they only realized it the day before, however, there was caution tape all around and with the heavy snow fall there would have been foot prints. In other words, they knew this would be a problem prior to the heavy snow fall. Perhaps they should get rid of the a structure that cannot handle snow on it. If they would have let us know ahead of time, it still would have been disappointing, but at least we would have known what to expect. ( I had specifically booked a cabin with a jacuzzi knowing my husband would be coming off a 72 hour firefighter shift that morning). Otherwise, we had a good trip and enjoyed the cabin and appreciated the staff being available to listen to our concern. We would stay here again (great cabin, great location), but would call prior to arrival to make sure there were no surprises!
We managed to pull off an incredible last minute stay for a predicted snow storm and White Pine Cabin was the perfect landing spot. The friendly and accommodating folks at vacasa took care of everything. The house was in great condition, warm and cozy. A nice fire in the fireplace and smooth sounds of vivaldi on the record player made for a magical evening while the snow came down. The hot tub was excellent and overall we could not have asked for a more pleasant stay. Will go again if available.
Great home. Good location.
This house was perfect for me and 2 friends who stayed here at the end of September. It had everything we needed with a full kitchen, plenty of towels, etc. The pictures are exactly what the property looks like. It was a quiet neighborhood, we enjoyed relaxing in the jacuzzi. The only thing that I would say could use improving were the bed heights. The beds were low to the ground so I could see someone older or with knee/back issues having a problem with the low beds. Other than that, they were pretty comfortable. The property has a huge back yard, everything was very clean. The weather was perfect at the end of September so we were never hot inside the house. It did get cold in the evening and we had to turn the heat on. It worked quickly and warmed us up! We would definitely stay here again!
Cozy cabin great for our weekend stay. Had ample kitchen supplies which proved very useful. Hot tub is a definite bonus, nice updated fixtures in bathroom. Great location in terms of proximity to the lake/trails, but definitely not for those who are seeking privacy (neighboring homes are quite close). Overall, great stay, would recommend.
the cabin is really cute and has a great feel. the backyard is very spacious and bright despite the many trees. we knew it didn't have a dishwasher and overall it was furnished rather simple but charming .... had we known we had to clean all dishes and glasses and kitchen counters, etc, because everything was just wiped over many times and never really cleaned we would have stayed somewhere else. the jacuzzi was also not usable because there was dirt on the floor and the sides had a thick, slimy 'something' around the waterline so we sent for a pool-boy who came the next day. same with the wifi which didn't work on the first day.
one thing that would have helped tremendously is an earlier check-in time. 4pm is not exactly guest-friendly and an early check-in was apparently impossible even though it was in the middle of the week and offseason.
I would definitely recommend the cabin if it was in a condition that can be expected.
We apologize that the guest had some inconveniences at the beginning of their stay; these items were addressed during or promptly after their stay and are no longer issues.
We stayed with another couple and had a great time, plenty of room to play in the yard as well as a nice patio to just sit under and enjoy the evening.
The house was perfect for our needs this summer. It was very clean and comfortable. Great location off the Main Street, very quiet. Loved the big back yard! Overall a wonderful place. I'd definitely stay there again!
This is a very cute cabin. We really enjoyed the spa. The only thing is there is no A/C. When we stayed it was just the start of summer and it was not to hot. We opened the windows at night and it cooled the house down. I would totally stay at this place again. I really liked where it was located. It is close drive to the Village. It was a quit street. It was very clean.
Beautiful place to stay, definitely I will be back
Staff of Vacasa was helpful and friendly. Very easy to check in and check out. House in a great location. Plenty of places for hiking and great opportunity for kids to play in the snow.
The smell of smoke throughout the house was the only drawback.
We loved this cabin. It was very clean and had everything that we needed to enjoy our stay (2 adults and 2 kids). The location was great - a nice peaceful street off the main road but still very close to the ski resorts and walking distance to a little federal park area where the kids could go sledding. The large yard was a plus, the kids loved playing in the snow and we enjoyed the very clean Jacuzzi. The kitchen was well stocked, we found everything we needed and we appreciated a little bit of laundry detergent to do a load of laundry. Plenty of blankets and towels. The cabin was warm and cozy, with a nice sitting area. We will definitely be back!
We had a really nice time in the cabin. Small, but it was perfect for our family of four. I especially enjoyed the big fenced in backyard which Allowed for my toddler to play in the snow in a safe enviorment.
We loved our stay at the cabin! The hot tub was in great condition, and worked extremely well, perfect for soaking after a day on the slopes. The cabin is really cute, and feels to cozy. The kitchen was well-equipped, and the beds were quite comfy. The washer and dryer are great to have on hand. Thanks for a fantastic stay!
We entered the cabin- beautiful! It was so warm and welcoming, way better than the pictures! It was clean, cozy, comfortable. It was walking distance to a local park with natural slopes for sledding! Perfect for a family with kids. It wasn't that crowded and it was free!!!! Staying in this cabin makes me want to buy my own cabin in big bear. If I HAD to have a complaint- it would be that the refrigerator was set tooooo cold. Our eggs and salads became frozen solid. Other than that, I adore this cabin. The beds didn't look that warm, but surprisingly were. I would love to stay here again.
My husband and I stayed here for Christmas. I was a little nervous because there were no reviews and although the photos looked great sometimes they can be deceiving. It was just like the photos show! The inside was just like you were in a log cabin. The hot tub was nice and clean and the kitchen had anything you would need to cook with. It was very far at all from the Big Bear & Snow Summit (although traffic was awful coming back everyday). An excellent spot! We'll definitely be back.
The pictures don't quite do this cozy home justice. It is the perfect size for 2 couples. We loved that it has a record player which added to the charm and was pleasantly surprised with a foosball table. We had to leave the bedroom door open to warm up the bedroom but other than that I have no complaints and would rent this home again.
I loved this place. The pictures give it no justice. The house looks 100 times better in person. Very warm feeling and you feel at home right away. I would definitely stay here again, and recommend it to my friends and family.
Nice cabin to stay for skiing. Nothing big or fancy. Jacuzzi was perfect for relaxing after skiing all day.
Cabin was as pictured. Good location, clean and comfortable. We would stay again.
