Tiny fire place and the pretty chair in the living room..

We really enjoyed our weekend getaway at this home. The sounds of the creek are incredibly soothing. Two large porches, fire pit, large kitchen and dining room are all great amenities. A lot of privacy given its location in the woods. Highly recommend this spot, with the money.

Rushing Creek Retreat was exactly what we got. Loved listening to the creek! What a relaxing retreat with large porches to rock on.
Enjoyed a fire in the fire pit while watching the sun go down.

The cabin was everything I was hoping it would be and more. The location was great and just a short drive to some great hiking locations. The creek outside was such a peaceful sound and could be heard inside the cabin with the sliding doors cracked. The kitchen was fully stocked with cooking utensils, pots and pans. It was very clean with beautiful decor. There really was nothing about this cabin and getaway that we did not love. We will be planning another trip to this cabin in the future!

For those with more than 1 vehicle: The driveway was very steep. We parked one car in the driveway in front of the cabin and parked a second car by the creek below. There is a stairway that leads from the creek to the cabin which made this easy to do.

Away from all the fray, the rushing waters of the creek were soothing. The house was wonderful. Getting there was no problem compared to some other descriptions of the place. You just follow the directions and you’ll get there. Town of silver was very welcoming. Wish I could’ve stayed longer. We brought our two little dogs and all is well, but we had to be careful of the area near the stairs because the slats were a little large and could allow the dogs to be able to get through so we put up some blankets to cover those areas to keep them from looking through and possibly falling down. The second-floor porch has the same slats so we did not let the dogs out on the upper porch or the lower because of the slats. They were too wide for a small or medium dog and possibly even a child could slip through. Aside from that the house was wonderful and we would surely go back again.
Manager response:
Hi, Dean! We are so glad you stayed with us and appreciate you leaving your review. The home is old enough that it has been 'grandfathered' in so far as codes go. There is wider spacing between the railings, but the slats are safe, and a child or dog would have to be quite small to fall through. Thank you!

We had a fabulous time at Grizzly Ridge#66. It was our first trip for father's day, but will definitely not be our last. The bed was so comfortable. Everything clean and kitchen well stocked with anything utensils you need. This will be our Fathers Day tradition. We will see you next year. Also, quick responses when asking a question. It was a beautiful weekend 😊
