This home gave me the much needed relaxation I needed to recharge, in November. This unit is on the 2nd floor, with a few steps up to the unit. I had a bit of stuff to carry up so the maintenance helped me and I tipped generously. The lake is right in front, like 10 steps to the water, but of course it's too chilly in November to want to go in the lake. Every morning, it was a pleasure to see the blue waters, even on cloudier days the view was perfect. The path by the lake is great for a walk. It was VERY quiet in November, most units were empty. I saw no kids the whole time I was there, I guess it's very different in the summer as there are 2 pools on either side of the unit, and the swimming beach of the lake is right in front. For now, I reveled in the sound of ducks as the only thing I heard all 7 days I was there. There is a propane grill on the balcony that I utilized. The town was pretty quiet in November and I cooked all my meals at home. It is pretty well stocked, but carry all your food and spices, of course, as due to COVID, the housekeeping does not leave any food in the apartment. There is a Safeway about 5 minutes drive from the unit, and several restaurants, as well as wineries that have a nice menu. I loved Tsillan Winery and their Sorrento restaurant. This was a solitary vacation, but I would love to return with friends and family.
