Great stay with my daughter. Plenty of room for a family of 4. Two bathrooms, although it might not sound like it from the listing.
off street parking, quiet area, solid home. very nice!
The location was great. It was close to town, and to my sister's house, who we were visiting for the holidays. On the down side, the neighbor screamed at us and called the police because one of us was standing in the yard the first night we were there. Additionally things were not anchored to the walls (towel holders, toilet paper holders, blinds, etc.) so stuff kept falling when we tried to use it.
Clean. Very comfortable for 4 adults. Just 20 minute walk from ferry, shorter to downtown. Extremely reasonable price.
Great accommodations. Great location near the center of town, nice wrap-around porch, kitchen fully equipped, bathrooms clean and modern, comfortable beds.
We loved sitting out on the front porch. Home is well-appointed with everything you might need.
Great location for walking into town, and very clean.
Nice location, nice layout, well equipped house. This house hit all the right notes.
We enjoyed our stay at Lopes Paradise. The location of the house was nice- close to Town and close to the Sparks Ave/Old South Rd area. Perfect for two families as it had a well equipped kitchen and a small yard for the kids. We would definitely stay there again.
We were happy with the location of this home. We travelled in May so it was also quiet. The home is definitely within walking distance to town. The home was very clean. We would stay here again.
We stayed in Nantucket for a trip down memory lane as I spent a summer there 20 years ago. This house was full of character and in a great location. Beds were comfortable. A shop a 2 minute walk away for the essentials. Rented bikes in Young’s. Loads of exploring and my husband and children loved it!
Location to ferry was great, plenty of parking - clean.
Was perfect for our company's needs.
Indeed paradise! Great home, great space, and great location. Walking distance to ferry and town. Adorable, quiet neighborhood. Would definitely stay again!
this house was great. Quiet neighborhood, close to town. And while we did not discover this until the last day, there is also a convenient store and package store in the opposite direction of town that is also very easy to walk to for a bottle of wine or any other small items you might have forgotten when stopping in town at stop and shop. only thing my fiance complained about was not being able to watch college football due to limited channels as we got dressed for the wedding (it was a rainy saturday). Other than that silly complaint by him, the stay was great and he likely wouldn't have noticed if it was summer or a sunny weekend as we would have been out and about in town or taking a bike ride.
Everything was great. Only master bedroom air conditioning.
Location is great, house is quaint, a little dated but works and price is significantly less than other properties
Easy to walk into town and an easy walk to bus stops to get to the beach. The front porch was lovely and the house had plenty of space. The only improvement needed is that the mattresses, especially the pull out couch, are less than comfortable. Other than that, an overall great spot!
Has everything that was promised and checking in and out was very easy. I would go back for sure.
Was here for a bachellorette party weekend and the house was perfect for what we were looking for! Slept 6 comfortably. Easy walk to town. Highly recommend it!
The house is walking distance from both town/ferry as well as stop and shop and the mid-island shops. The rooms were both spacious and comfortable with adequate closet space and the front porch and yard were PERFECT
Location! Older furnishings and Decour, we needed some extra linens and things but Jared our host was very prompt. We will definitely stay here again. The price was right!
The house was in a wonderful location on a two way street, walking distance to town as well as a coffee shop and future convenient store. The porch looks inviting however the cushions where wet due to a weekend full of rain. A few glass items displayed in the house, not so good for any young visitors. The pillows and beds need upgrading and offering a few more blankets would be nice for brisk nights.. The management was quick to respond to a simple question. The only VCR was upstairs so no movies could be watched in the living room. Remote instructions would be helpful as well. The kitchen had plenty of pots and pans if you plan to cook in. Over all a fair house
FABULOUSLY comfortable ( EXCEPT the LR couch!!!), well appointed, home, with everything one might need for a quick getaway! VERY conveniently located IF you like to walk, to grocery store, liquor store, and Town. Beaches nearby, but the BIG beaches are too far to walk. Beautiful front porch ! A beautiful home away from home, on the most special place in the world!
This home was absolutely perfect for my family and I. There were a total of 4 of us (2 adults and 2 kids). There is a large front porch, the home is beautifully decorated, and it's in a great location. We were a short bike ride away from the the grocery store, several restaurants, the Steamship Terminal, beaches, etc. We plan on coming back again soon, and requesting to stay in this very same house!!
House was nice. Only complaint would be that the internet did not work and there were only 3 channels for cable, normally this wouldn't be an issue, but was using the house to lodge employees and after a hard day they wanted to watch some tv
Continuing with the blind issue. Not only broken but doesn't block lights at night. Street light shinned through the bedroom all night.
We apologize that the blinds allowed light into the room.
The house was clean and a great setup for our family. Great experience!
A fine house with a manageable location. The furnishings are dated but everything is functional and the photos are accurate. Nantucket is expensive and this house follows suit but it is a good option for more budget conscious travelers.
The other reviews are accurate. As others have said, the place is well located and the neighbors are welcoming. We enjoyed walking into town and had bikes delivered to the property so that we could bike to Sconset and around the island. The kitchen is missing a few items but we did manage to cook and found a close by grocery, bakery and fish market with tasty offerings. The place is a bit dated and they could remove some of the nick nacks but it was very clean and had nice linens. We enjoyed our stay .
Nice house, love the porch. Great location.
Our stay at this property was really good. The house is in town, but not to close to Main St where the roads can get busy. If you don't have a car, this house is probably too far to walk to Main St everyday though and you could not quickly get to the beaches. The wrap-around porch, ample parking and good location make the house. The house itself is a bit outdated but it has all the basics and we didn't spend a whole lot of time inside anyway. The neighbors were courteous and if you have a car you can get to everywhere you need to get on the island with ease.
Our group had an amazing trip - the house was described perfectly, the neighbors were all extremely nice. Nantucket is the sort of community where everyone says hello whether they're on their morning commute to get coffee, walking their dog, or just passing by on a leisurely walk. Easy walking to town and a convenient store located a block away. Fully stocked kitchen (there's no grill outside) and plenty of towels for both beach and bathroom. I can't wait to go back!
The property is very clean, the upstairs is newly carpeted. The baths have been updated. However, the kitchen needs to be better equipped. All odd glasses, dishes and silverware need to be thrown out and restocked. It also needs an electric mixer and a spatula. Though we didn't use the washer and dryer, it would have been handy on a longer visit. The WIFI worked well. We loved the comfortable seating on the front porch and the breeze. However, the house sleeps but there are only seats on the porch. It didn't affect us as we were guests but thought for future guests this suggestion might be helpful.Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Lopes Paradise! Yes, we would stay again.
The beds were not the most comfortable and the kitchen was lacking some essentials. The location and the porch was amazing. Overall a great place to stay for a spring girls weekend.
