This is an exceptionally beautiful mock Victorian home located close to the ocean and blocks away from restaurants, stores and activities. The home is thoughtfully decorated with beautiful paint in each room; cream. sage green, pale yellow and pearl gray. There are very many windows which allow for a lot of light. There is a grand hardwood staircase which is phenomenal! My favorite room is the bathroom; it has an awesome shower/bathtub and the washer is very Eco friendly. One thing they did not mention is that you actually can see the ocean from the back bedroom and the bathroom. When you rent the home you are renting the first and second floors. The basement level and third floor master suite are for the owner's use only. This did not detract in anyway from the home. It feels as if you are in a roomy house. The mattresses are firm, and furniture is period reproductive velvet chairs and couch from Pottery Barn.

Overall an amazing stay, only a few minor details that could be changed to make the stay absolutely perfect:

1. The kitchen is unusual. We did not know how to operate the AGA oven, although a manual is provided for those who want an unusual cooking adventure! There was a range top devise, toaster oven and microwave.

2. The bedrooms get a little warm. The awesome property manager, Charles, brought us a fan though!

3.. As stated in the description, this would not be a good place for young kids because of the AGA stove always being on and because of the stairs.

Other things to know: The t.v. is a Roku, there are phone chargers in the bedrooms, the property is on a bluff and beach access is down a steep but paved ramp. There is also an easier access downtown. The village is awesome, two blocks away! There are many cafes, art galleries and specialty stores.
