Wonderful location for a relaxing beach side vacation.

This house had the best location, directly on the beach with privacy on each side. There were amazing views from every window that faced the beach. The sunsets were stunning. The deck was spacious and included a patio set and some chairs to lounge in.

Keep track of when low tide hits because there's no water for a mile in. At low tide, you can walk a mile out and collect shells and explore. At high tide there's beach and sand to enjoy as well as water for swimming and playing in.

The house had the necessities in the kitchen. No need to bring plates, cutlery, pots & pans and glassware. Make sure to bring condiments including salt and pepper.

My biggest suggestion for Vacasa is to update the decor and furnishings. The couch needs replacing for sure. The television should also be upgraded to one that can get Netflix and other channels. It would be nice to add some beachy decor to the design.

There's a lower level that's completely unused, other than housing the laundry room and a couch. I recommend adding another tv and seating area to use. It would add more liveable space to the house. Kids could use thus area to play. This floor has some floaties for the beach. Be sure to bring an air pump as there was none.

There aren't any restaurants that are within walking distance. I recommend The Friendly Fisherman that's a short drive away for the best lobster rolls.

We loved this house so much that we already booked it for a few days in August 2021. I hope that some updates to the interior are made by then to make this house even better!!! We had an amazing time there and highly recommend this rental!!!

Location, privacy, quiet place, perfect getaway from the city, dog friendly!!! But the living room furniture should be upgraded to leather or synthetic upholstery so it can be easily cleaned and disinfect. And they lack pillows!!! . But overall our rating is very good!!!

Cant beat the location of this home. Just steps down to the private beach. It should be noted that availability of water for swimming is heavily dependent on the tide schedule. High tide and the 2 hours before and after are really the best times to swim if that is what you're looking to do. Low tide is called "dead low tide" here with the water receding almost a half mile from the home for the few hours immediately near low tide. There is abundant sea life to explore in the tidal flats during this time, but if you hoped to swim, its not as convenient to do so during this time. Other than that, the house was all we needed. Central air was a great feature during humid days. House had all the things needed for a good stay. Well appointed with dishware, utensils, cookware, linens, etc. No need to bring any of that from home. Phenomenal views from the back deck off the kitchen/dining room. Be careful of a few things - use water sparingly, as the well that supplies the house could dry up. Be mindful of how much you're using when rinsing sand off feet, showering, etc. Additionally, there are little tiny white biting flies that come out on occasion (usually from dusk to dawn, but also whenever the sun went away on cloudy days). And when they do, they come out in force, biting in clusters with super itchy bites everywhere. Bring bug spray if you want to avoid this. None of this would deter us from renting here again as it truly was a peaceful and relaxing place that gave us a terrific start to our summer!!!

A beautiful spot with direct access to a private beach area. Such a great spot to visit with a family and dog! Absolutely perfect weekend getaway. Everything is exactly as pictured.

We just spent two nights at this location and loved being able to walk right down to the beach. The views are amazing from the dining room and deck, and our kids got some quality swimming time in around high tide. I would advise driving in the long way around on Salt Works Road ( only a minute or so extra) unless you have four wheel drive. If you listen to your gps and go the most direct route through the neighborhood, there is a short sandy stretch just before you arrive that is not easily driven through in a normal car.
