Escape to Dillon, Colorado and stay at this Dillon vacation rental. Sitting near the shores of Dillon Lake, and with more than 20 windows (you read that right!), lake and mountain views, cathedral ceilings, wood-burning fireplace, and a half an acre of land, this house is a place you won't want to pass up.

Within the community is Dillon Town Park, which offers tennis courts, trails, and a multi-use field. Just down the block is the Dillon Marina from which you can launch your watercraft and rent canoes, stand-up paddle boards, or fishing boats.

This single-family home offers accommodations for all to get comfy and relax. Spacious and filled with light, the home features floor-to-ceiling windows opening to views of aspens, Ten Mile and Gore Range, and of course Lake Dillon. As the snow falls, play a board game, curl up with a book, or catch up with loved ones while sharing an afghan and listening to the fire crackling in the wood-burning stove.

When the weather is nice, spend time together out on the expansive furnished deck. Cook up your fresh catch on the gas grill and share glasses of sangria under the sun.

Having conversations in this home will be easy with the open floor plan. Fully stocked with everything you need to prep a family meal, the kitchen even has a coffee bean grinder, waffle iron, and dishwasher conveniently placed right next to the sink. Just supply your favorite foods! And you'll have plenty of place settings and even a high-chair so everyone can dine together.

After a full day on the water or the snowy runs, you'll be glad to snuggle up in bed. On the main floor are the master bedroom and guest room, both with spacious queen-size beds. The master bedroom's wall of books will make you feel like you're in a dream library. In another room you'll have two twin beds. There's even a Pack-N-Play for little ones. Up to seven guests (six adults at most) can stay here.

A full house will be pleased with the two remodeled bathrooms. Additional amenities include two cable TVs and a movie library, WiFi, and a private washer and dryer for guests to freshen up their vacation wardrobe.

There is an additional lock-off home for two adults and one child below this home for extended family and friends. The home and lock-off studio may be rented together for groups of up to eight guests (call Vacasa for details).

Dillon's Best Nest is also close to great Colorado ski resorts, while still being private and cozy. Just eight miles away is Keystone Resort, open all year for outdoor adventures the whole family will enjoy. Ski all day at Arapahoe Basin, a little over 10 miles away.

Hike at Copper Mountain resort 12 miles away and sample a bit of luxury at Breckenridge 15 miles away. Vail is only a 30-mile drive away. Take your pick! If you don't feel like cooking after a day out and about, there are tons of family-friendly restaurants on the way back, many close to the community.

The home is in a very good location for skiing, groceries and entertainment. The home over all was well kept. Would recommend for a family of 4 to 6, all ages!

Great location, great views and great town. Enjoyed our first away from home Christmas ski trip. Great location if you like to ski several different mountains. Lots of available food and entertainment within a few miles. Would stay here again if we got some confirmation that some of the issues we listed were resolved. Most important being the front steps, outside lighting and the coach in the living room.

Our family enjoyed staying at the property. Very clean with no traces of pets or smoke which is a must for us. Everything in the home worked well. We made several meals in the kitchen. Plenty of space for our family. Very nice deck. Close to attractions in Dillon. My one concern was the front steps. They are uneven and require some attention to safely navigate.

We were well satisfied with our stay at Dillon's Nest. The views from both within the house and from the patio are great. Kitchen well appointed, everything we needed. We would staying here again if coming back to area.

Nice convenient property. Clean. A little DIY-quirky. Queen mattress in master needs to be replaced. But overall lovely place to stay.
