This house has a beautiful view of the cove, Mt. Baker, and the mountains. Very comfortable with plenty of room for our party of 4. Appreciated that we were able to bring our dogs. We were taken back a bit by the sound of the septic pump every time a toilet was flushed. The kitchen could have used a few more pots and pans. With that said we would stay here again.
Manager response:
Thank you for staying with us! We are glad to hear you enjoyed the home. We apologize for any annoyance caused by the sound of the septic system during your visit. This is a rural home, and uses a septic system for plumbing and water. We hope you had an otherwise enjoyable stay and we hope you choose to stay with us again!

This was the perfect place to stay during COVID and really anytime! I was hoping for an international trip for a big bday but that wasn't feasible with the pandemic. However this local getaway ended up being perfect! So many great hikes and places to explore nearby. Having the sea kayaks to use was awesome. The main street of Coupeville is so cute and the businesses have made good efforts to keep people safe during the pandemic; with even some contact free takeout options. In the mornings and when the weather was bad we enjoyed the spectacular view from indoors. Our dog was in heaven too!

There was a wind storm one day we were there and the island lost power for almost a full day but we were fine with the gas stove to heat food, the fireplace to keep warm and the candles and flashlights supplied.

Very nice home that has many great upgrades. Master bedroom has lots of natural light from the many large windows and sliding door. It also has its own fireplace. Open kitchen and living room also have large windows and sliding door giving lots of natural light. The deck and large grass area were great for the family. The view of Penn Cove is terrific.
All new high end appliances. Fast wi-fi. Convenient to downtown Coupeville. Easy pull-through parking.
This home will be on our list of repeats for this area.

Took my daughters to Whidbey for long weekend and stayed at this great home ! Lots of space and all new upgrades.. enjoyed the kayaks on the calm cove and the seal watching ! Great weather to cap off our time together ... perfect location and clean as a whistle!

Such a gorgeous view! We loved the deck, fire pit, and sitting on driftwood in the morning to enjoy coffee on the beach.

A few basics missing from the kitchen and TVs didn’t work, but we mainly used the grill and enjoyed our Scrabble game that we brought. Truly wonderful setting and very comfortable home.
Manager response:
Thank you for taking the time to share your opinions with us, Amy. We are thrilled you loved the home, the location, and the relaxing space provided. We understand that cooking utensils, etc. can sometimes be a personal preference; we will take a look at the current supply and see if there are some extra that could be provided. It was unfortunate we were not informed of the broken wine glasses have had them replaced. TVs are being upgraded. Again, thank you for the feedback as we continue to strive for better products and service here on Whidbey Island.

We had a lovely time - 4 adults and one 8YO. The house size was perfect. 2 bedrooms upstairs and one downstairs, and 2 bathrooms with showers upstairs. The house is decently flipped - comfortable and potentially nearly down being decorated / furnished. Style was nice - better than most Airbnb’s. Very basic (some quite worn) cooking utensils and pans. Plenty of dishware. I’d say this comfortably sleeps 5 unless you are ok with someone sleeping on the communal sofa. The large deck and backyard with beach access with fire pits are the best part. Bring ur own grill utensils and any/all cooking ingredients (no salt and pepper). If ur staying for more than 2 nights bring extra TP too. Bring ur own life jackets if u have younger kids or prefer - kayaks were nice but life vests not provided. A short drive from downtown Coupeville and some local wineries, and 12 mins from the ferry. Red Apple grocery and Walgreens also less than 10 mins away. Would stay here again but with these things in mind!

We loved the location. The deck and yard are outstanding and the waterfront view is gorgeous. The house was clean and nicely decorated. There is no WiFi access, even though there is WiFi in the house. I don’t understand why guests would not be granted access if it’s available. That was frustrating. Awesome fire pit.
Manager response:
Hi, Kristy! The owner only recently added internet to the home, and we have just updated our guest information to include WiFi access. Thank you!
