We absolutely loved this home. The views were amazing on sunny and rainy days. The house is super modern and the record player wall was a photoshoot waiting to happen. The king bed was the most comfortable bed I've ever slept on. The drive up was rocky and the gravel are big (drive slow). There are trees and plants surrounding the whole house and boy, my allergies were through the roof. Remember to bring your allergy medicine! This place had a lot of ammenities you would want, even extra batteries! There were a few quirks about the house we didn't like; the grill is on the other side of the house and you don't get the stunning views. There are tons of mosquitos/bugs. The firepit had no wood and there was VERY limited cell service. The wifi was okay, but the most annoying was when we tried to check in with the information provided and it did not work. We had to call customer service and having almost no service we kept getting hung up on. So we wasted time calling when we were never given a code to access the house with the key. Which is why we rated the house 4 stars. The morning of check out we were greeted with a wood pecker at our window. You really do get the nature feels along with a deer that kept popping in and out throughout the day.
Manager response:
We are so happy to hear that you and your family enjoyed the home, Jennifer! We do apologize that the wrong information was sent to you upon check-in and that the poor cell service made it difficult to get into contact with us. We will be making sure that our information is correct when sending out our check-in email to our guests so that this does not happen in the future. We look forward to hosting you in the future!

The location and architecture of the house are amazing. I really don't think you could ask for more in the Columbia River Gorge. You'll want to sit out on the porch the entire time; even if it is raining. There aren't any visible neighbors so, you really get to immerse yourself in the environment. The house has all the amenities you could need and the wifi actually works pretty well considering the location and limited cell service. The only real recommendation for improvement is that some of the small details could be upgraded given the premium price tag. For instance, the linens, pillows and towels are lower quality and are not the most comfortable. The given toiletries, toilet paper, paper towels, etc. aren't ideal and you would probably expect higher given how awesome the rest of the house is. But again, just some small things that could be changed easily that could really make this place the best rental ever. All said and done, the place itself is really a level above anything else in the gorge. The sad part is I know the calendar availability will be packed from here on out (and for good reason).
