The staff is amazing from scheduling the getaway to checking out.
Corey L. Feb 2019
We have been staying in Borders Lodge for almost 20 years. The unit we chose this year was a corner unit, so it had much more light than usual. On the first day, we noticed the coffee pot had not been cleaned. On the second day the sink flooded. I asked for assistance. Then, when the dishwasher was running, the sink began to overflow. Again I asked for help. Maintenance was terrific this time, and attended to it fairly quickly. They were able to resolve the issue. Then, a day or two later, we noticed that the shower in the master was not able to isolate tub or shower, it was more a mixture of both. Next, the master toilet flushed, but the flusher had to be held down until the waste was removed. On our last evening there, my daughter walked into the second bedroom and the floor was wet, the synthetic wood floor was lifting, and it was like a swamp. The front desk staff were very attentive, but they had to find a plumber. He came within an hour, but was not able to isolate the problem area, so it was left as is until we checked out the following day. We were offered more towels. Although I thought the staff was great (actually phenomenal - one even lent my son her son's jacket because we left his at a restaurant), this unit had challenge after challenge. It was disappointing.
