loved the solitude, view. House was nice and clean. Great conversations settings and the fireplace was super!

Both the Beachfront and Seacastle houses were spacious, clean, well-furnished and a wonderful place to stay for our family reunion.

Our family stayed at both houses for our spring break and it fit us all perfectly. We seen whales played on the beach made dinners and breakfasts plenty of dishes and cookware. We plan to change me back for our spring break next year and stay the whole 9 days! 🤗🤗

A good place to watch the waves and hear the roar of the ocean! Access to the beach is in easy walking distance form the house and provides an excellent place to take an early morning stroll. The house itself sits atop a steep bank, providing an unobstructed view of the Atlantic sunsets. Guest quarters were comfortable and well furnished. We would definitely recommend this property.

I brought my men's and women's golf team to Gleneden Beach to play in a collegiate event and we loved these properties. They were just as the pictures showed if not better! We will be back again!!!

We enjoyed our stay at the properties mostly because of the amazing view and relative ease to beach access and access to the surrounding areas. The kitchen was well equipped and the laundry facilities were definitely a plus. Beds were very comfortable. Our only bad disappointment was that the hot tub was not in working order and we received that call just hours before we were to check in. Everyone was waiting to relax in the hot tub and enjoy the sounds of the ocean as we all work stressful jobs. The area is beautiful and sells itself!!

First time renting a beach house best experience. Beats homes with beautiful views!!! Definitely would return.

The houses were very comfortable and kitchens well equipped. Unfortunately I did not realize this rental was 2 separate houses right next to each other, so our group was split. The beach was nice but there is a steep bank behind the house and young children have to be supervised very closely when outside or behind the houses.

Overall great experience! Already planning our next trip!

Great place for a large group. Convenient going back and forth between homes. Some really nice finishes, some just average. Awesome beach and views. On a steep cliff, which I did not catch before booking so you really need to watch out for the little ones. Did not expect 5 star amenities and so I was not disappointed. A real nice beach cabin with all you need to enjoy. We all had a great time and would go again.

We rented these houses for a small group of friends to celebrate my birthday. When we arrived, I have to admit I was disappointed. I had seen other rentals for similar pricing on this same website that were much nicer- updated furnishings, spacious rooms, fully stocked kitchens. When we arrived, we discovered from signs posted inside that the owners prefer everyone to remove their shoes in the home. There are a lot of ads throughout the houses for the rentals, which didn't make sense to us, as we were already there.

From the pictures on the website, I had no idea that we were renting 2 separate houses with a driveway in between. As it turned out, this worked very well for our group, but it was not at all clear from the pictures or description. We did spend a lot of time going back & forth between the houses to bring over kitchen items, extra chairs, etc, as I would not say that either house was fully stocked.

The kitchen quickly got crowded with our group of 10-12 people, I can't imagine what it would be like if we had 23 guests for the weekend! The nonstick pans were terrible- we had to stop in the middle of cooking pancakes to scrub the pans & begin again. The knives were not sharp, the beautiful chopping block was mostly covered with kitchen items.

The view was incredible, the deck was lovely & the hot tub was fabulous. There is a covered area at the top of the driveway with a bar/countertop setup looking directly at the ocean- this is a selling point, but I didn't see it anywhere in the pictures or description.

The bedrooms with bunk beds were unreasonably crowded. Thank goodness we didn't need all the beds, as getting in & out of bed would have taken some acrobatic maneuvers if they were all in use! The bunk beds are clearly only meant for children, as they were covered with plastic sheets and there is absolutely no way anyone other than a small child would be able to sit on the bottom bunk before laying down.

We loved the tall tables and chairs, but as we were using the house with the hot tub as our main gathering area, it would have made more sense for us to have the larger table from the other house instead to facilitate our group meals.

The couch in what we used as the main house was amazing- large & comfortable. It would have been nice to sit on that couch to look at the ocean, but the room layout doesn't allow it. Instead, we got to look at the gas fireplace, which was a lovely way to heat the home in the chilly evenings.

The houses are at the edge of an extremely steep cliff, so if you are renting this house for a group with small children, beware! There is only a strip of grass outside the smaller house to separate it from a long drop down to the beach.

We really enjoyed the beach, which is a short walk from the houses. When it's high tide, there's not much beach there, so be sure to watch the tide tables! One of our group saw a whale while he was soaking in the hot tub.

Overall, the houses were fine. For the price, I expected more. This process has taught me to ask more questions of the property owner/management, and what questions to ask. While I would use Vacasa to find another rental in the future, I would not return to this rental.

The view from both homes is beyond beautiful!
