One-block to downtown McMinnville! Contemporary retreat!
Updated and contemporary, this great three-bedroom McMinnville vacation rental is a nicely designed second-floor retreat that's perfect for up to six guests!
This loft-style getaway boasts a great location in the heart of Oregon's wine country. Walk just one block to popular 3rd Street in McMinnville for restaurants, bars, tasting rooms, and galleries!
Inside, this bright and modern space has an open living room and kitchen that's great for socializing and relaxing. Settle back and watch a DVD on the TV or put out a spread of cheese, crackers, and local wines on the coffee table for everyone to enjoy. WiFi and cable is available as well.
The full kitchen includes a center island with barstools for dining or even helping the chef chop vegetables or pour the pinot. All the major appliances are supplied here, including a dishwasher so you can whip up (and clean up) anything from a simple snack to a more elaborate dinner. There's even a coffee grinder so you can have fresh coffee every morning.
All bedrooms have king-size beds and each room has convenient accessories like bedside tables and reading lamps, as well as comfortable and stylish bedding. Ideal for two couples exploring Oregon's wine country, this retreat can accommodate up to six guests.
Other amenities include a stacked washer/dryer, and one bathroom with a shower and the other with a tub and shower combination. There are even ceiling fans to keep the cool air circulating in the summer!
Perhaps the best part is your location in this charming and vibrant town. Third Street, named "one of the top five streets in America," offers tree-lined sidewalks, galleries, a farmers market, and more. In addition, downtown McMinnville is home to many tasting rooms, Golden Valley Brewery, and the McMenamins Hotel is just up the street.
Walk to Elizabeth Chamber Cellars for a sample of the local pinot noir and pinot gris, Eyrie Vineyards is just a bit further, and there are countless other wineries to choose from. For a tour of the larger Willamette Valley wine region, Dundee, Dayton, and Carleton are all within an 11-mile drive for wineries like Sokol Blosser, Noble Pig, Andrew Rich, Archery Summit, and Argyle to name a few.
Of course, you may want to tour the area on foot and just taste your way through downtown McMinnville. On the nights you don't feel like cooking, visit a local eatery like Thistle or the Crescent Cafe, or plan a special mushroom-centric meal at the Joel Palmer House, just a six-mile drive from your door.
Great 3bd rm unit perfect for wine tasting around the area. Great for several couples as all 3 rooms have king beds. This would not be the place for sitting out in the evening or gathering for dinner. Space and layout just don't accommodate entertaining. But it worked well for coffee and light breakfast before heading out for the day. Clean and newer makes it for a very pleasant stay. We'd stay again for this purpose.

Space was clean, spacious for our party of four and located within walking distance to both downtown and the granary district. I would highly recommend!

We had a great time exploring the Oregon wine country. The apartment was clean and comfortable. I left my laptop behind and it was quickly returned in a well packed box. I appreciated their prompt response.

These 3 bedrooms were perfect for 3 couples! Walking distance to town, clean, and well kept

we loved our stay at Vino Ritiro. It was all new, that was obvious from the moment we opened the lower door and went up the stairs. It was spacious and had everything we could want/need. We would stay here again and were completely satisfied!!!

This 3-bedroom apartment was fabulous. It had everything we needed and more. The location was perfect to walk to downtown McMinnville for shopping, wine tasting and great food options.
Brian C.Oct 2018
The loft has three separate bedrooms and two baths. It is beautifully updated with great furniture. Elizabeth Chambers tasting room is 30 seconds away, and only a short walk to all other restaurants and tasting rooms in McMinnville. I will definitely return.
Whitney N.Oct 2018
Walking distance to all the shops and restaurants. Great for our group of four perfect stay for our wine tour. Highly recommend!
Barbara T.Oct 2018
The location is great - just a couple of short blocks to downtown McMinnville. Very comfy apartment with all the amenities.
Kathy W.Oct 2018
Bright, airy, clean apartment withing walking distance of downtown McMinnville, OR. Easy to visit wineries in the Willamette Valley or walk to tasting rooms in McMinnville to sample wines, microbrews or spirits. Great restaurants, shops and outdoor activities too such as equestrian wine tours and hikes through the vineyards. Highly recommend staying at Vino Ritiro for couples and families with adult children since there are three bedrooms and two bathrooms.
Jodi S.Sep 2018
clean, inviting small rental - great for a girls weekend away. A nice touch that all three bedrooms are king beds. One bathroom is much more updated than the other. Renters should know this is off of a main street and above commercial offices. Not a deal breaker for us, but maybe for others.
Francisco R.Sep 2018
This is a three bedroom apartment with two full baths. It's spacious and very close to all of the restaurants, stores and tasting rooms in downtown McMinville. The next time, we're booking more nights.
Mary H.Aug 2018
As a frequent vacation rental consumer, I found it exceptional that each of the 3 bedrooms provided a king-size bed. This is often a deciding factor for my husband and I, so to come across this space where all three couples can sleep in the same size bed we have at home was delightful.
This apartment was perfectly suited for our wine-tasting weekend. We did not cook meals in the kitchen nor eat any sit-down type meals inside, there’s not really a place to do that here, but why cook when you can walk to so many different breakfast/lunch/dinner options just a few blocks away?
There are plenty of counter-height stools to sit at for a quick bite of breakfast, but we mostly sat in the comfy chairs or sofa...just enough room for 6 adults.
We appreciated the central AC in the heat of mid August, and the ceiling fans help circulate the air.
Bathrooms are a great size and the three couples had no issues other than a slight learning curve on the faucet of one tub-shower combo.
The kitchen looks like it was recycled/re-installed from an older home, circa 1980, but all cupboards functioned well, and we weren’t renting this place to stay inside the entire weekend to look at it, so it did not detract from our weekend enjoyment.
We were pinching ourselves for having found such a gem to headquarter a great weekend in the Willamette Valley, and look forward to the next time we need to restock our wine libraries!

The beds were super comfy! Nice decor and clean modern bathrooms. The view from the kitchen/living room is beautiful tree tops! Walk across the street to the brewery for great food and drink. Nice walk to downtown.
The only suggestions are some hooks for towels in the second bathroom, and some where to hang a few clothing items in the 2nd and 3rd bedrooms. We would highly recommend this place!
Mona S.Aug 2018
We loved staying in this comfortable, clean and well appointed home just a stones throw from downtown. The location can’t be beat and everything was super clean. Especially loved the luxury of 3 king beds and one (of two) bathrooms that seemed very updated. Kitchen was well stocked and it had a washer / dryer which was perfect for the mid point of our stay.
Carol S.Jul 2018
Great apartment. Large, clean, quiet, safe and well supplied. Three blocks from downtown. Walking distance to Linfield College. Plenty of room for six people.
Susan W.Jul 2018
Great location, clean, comfortable, well-equipped. The only downside was lack of dressers - nowhere to unpack your belongings. We would definitely rent this again.
Marit E.Jun 2018
New nicely furnished place with great beds and super nice hosts!!!
Kristin R.May 2018
Beautiful place, and close to all the downtown action. We loved it!!
Karen S.Apr 2018
This apartment was very comfortable and in a great location- very walkable to wineries and shops. The beds were comfy. The kitchen was nicely stocked but didn’t have a lot of staples (sugar, etc). Things to note- this apartment is up a flight of stairs. The only faults I found- sugar ants invaded the kitchen. We let the manager know, so hopefully that will be fixed, and the shower - the way it is set up it’s hard to keep water from escaping the shower onto the floor. Overall, a really nice place to stay in McMinnville.
The property manager is taking care of those ants. Thanks!

Large apartment but no place to put or hang clothes
Kathleen S.Oct 2017
We enjoyed our stay and the three separate bedrooms is great. I could walk downtown the GV Brewery right next door is a bonus ~ love the food there. Comfortable beds and quiet apartment. It is upstairs for those that may have trouble climbing stairs.
Greg L.Oct 2017
This place is perfect...parking, walking distance to everything in town. So much better than a hotel.
Rhonda G.Sep 2017
We absolutely loved the apartment. Three nice comfortable king beds. Lots of pillows. Kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. We made a few breakfasts and dinner. Downtown is practically right around the corner. With restaurants, wine tasting rooms, breweries, galleries and fun shops.
Felt very safe in the neighborhood. Would definitely rent again.
Shana F.Aug 2017
It was very easy to walk to downtown restaurants. We enjoyed the king sized beds even though a couple of the bedrooms are very small. The layout of the kitchen/dining/living room area was inviting. There are stairs to get to the apartment, but there's a baby gate at the top that is retractable. The kitchen was well stocked. There is only one bathroom, which can be tricky if you have more than a few people in your group.
Cristi W.Jul 2017
Just spend the weekend in McMinnville and were very happy with this property. The property was very spacious and super clean. Very walk-able to shops and restaurants. We spent a good portion of the weekend wine tasting and had an easy drive to many locations. We also attended the International Pinot Noir Fest at Linfield College and chose to walk home from Saturday Night's Salmon Bake. It was a good walk but definitely do-able and actually quite enjoyable after a big meal. Would recommend this property in a heart beat!
Sheri B.Jul 2017
Worked well for 4 adults and two kids. Would be fine for 6 adults depending on how they can share one bath. Walk to town was easy and fun. Comfortable beds and spacious open kitchen and LR.
Shauna M.Feb 2017
This condo has a very comfortable lay out, made breakfast both mornings and the kitchen had all that was needed to prepare and cook a yummy start to the day. The beds were comfortable. The location to the quaint downtown of McMinnville was perfect and it felt safe to walk at night to the restaurants and home again.

Laura B.Oct 2016
The place served us very well. The location was great and made it very easy to walk downtown. The place is new and nice.
ELizabeth R.Oct 2016
Good location central to both 3rd Street and Granary district. Easy access to 99W and vineyards.
Bonnie F.Oct 2016
We stayed here while attending a wedding at Youngberg Hill Winery. This apartment was the perfect location in McMinnville. It was close to 3rd Street...walking distance to all McMinnville has to offer. From here, we were able to explore all of the great wineries in the McMinnville area. This apartment is perfect for two couples. Before booking this apartment we looked at booking a hotel in the area, but our choice to stay here was the right choice. When we come back to McMinnville we will definitely stay here again.
Evelyn T.Oct 2016
The location was fabulous! We walked several times to the shops and restaurants. Very roomy and stocked well. Easy to find and really didn't notice the street noise as was mentioned in other posts. Maybe because we are early risers but was not an issue at all. We would stay there again! Loved the whole area!

This was a great base to explore the wine country. McMinnville is a charming town full of helpful people.
Julie T.Aug 2016
This is a well located apartment near the main street. It is nicely furnished and the kitchen was well stocked.
Joe B.Aug 2016
Super clean and walking distance to charming 3rd Street. Walked to breakfast and dinner every day. A lovely stay. Thank you!
David P.Aug 2016
After many trips to McMinnville & area, I may have found the greatest place to stay. It’s 2 BR but with yet another extra room, so lots of space. A big, well-stocked kitchen, windows that open (!), and decent sized shower. It’s right on the edge of town so expect some city noise, but it was fine.
So many things are within walking distance; I didn’t even get in my car for an entire, fun-filled day. Tasting rooms, restaurants, coffee shops, art, antiques, and so on. Always free parking too! I will be back!
Daniel L.Aug 2016
Great amount of room, and amazing space. A little date and could use some updates as far as Electronics(TV) and decor (Wall Paper). Located right in the middle of 2 wonderful spots for Wine Tastings and breweries . 1 Block away from the Granary District and a short 3-5 min walk to downtown 3rd street.
Ron W.Aug 2016
Excellent place! Great location!
Samantha D.Jul 2016
Located on one end of old town McMinnville, it's a short walk to enjoy all that this lovely wine town has to offer. Great food, coffee, drinks, tasting rooms, etc. The locals are incredibly nice and welcoming. The place was clean, the kitchen had an amazing island that friends could sit around and chat, the bedrooms were super comfy and spacious. They even have an additional room without furniture which was helpful to me with a baby. There isn't any outdoor space, if that's important to you. But, this place was an amazing value!
Jason B.Jul 2016
This was a fantastic unit in a fantastic location. Very clean, comfortable, and convenient.
Beth P.Jul 2016
The location is about three blocks from the center of Third Street, which has delightful restaurants, stores, and wine-tasting venues. The loft is comfortably furnished and the beds were great. This is a second-story apartment, so not recommended for the mobility impaired. It is also near a busy street and the train tracks, so it can be a little noisy. We ran into some maintenance and housekeeping issues, but the management team was very responsive and took care of them promptly.
Stanley K.Jun 2016
Great location and easy rental process
Daryl H.May 2016
We were in town for the annual UFO Festival in May 2016. Property is an excellent location, just a short walk to downtown.
Nancy N.May 2016
We were very pleased with our stay here. It is right downtown, convenient to campus, and exactly as described. Very clean and comfortable.
Katrina M.May 2016
Perfect spot in downtown McMinnville just off the beaten path but so near to downtown! Clean, perfect for 2 couples or friends looking to get away . Full kitchen , nice sized bathroom and w/d are such great features!
D T.Mar 2016
This place was perfect for the two of us. Great kitchen, though we never used it with all the great places in Mcminnville, two bedrooms and one bath. Super comfy living room area . The beds were so comfortable.
Perfect place for a couple or a family. Keep in mind there is only one bathroom to be shared. If you are a light sleeper there is some slight early morning road noise but it is not that bad at all. Apartment is well constructed.
We would, and already have recommended this place to our friends.
Greg Z.Mar 2016
Clean and comfortable, and convenient, prompt to address any issues!
Kathy S.Feb 2016
The home is well maintained and clean! Close to downtown and restaurants. I would stay there again!
Patricia W.Nov 2015
This is a little gem. Very comfortable, clean and just blocks to the town center. You occasionally hear a train whistle. I found it comforting but others might be bothered. But the windows were excellent in keeping out traffic noise. Very nice beds & bedding. Thick towels. However, be aware that the space is on the 2nd floor and you have to carry things up the stairs. There was no binder with tips on how the appliances & tv worked and restaurant suggestions.
