Oceanfront contemporary home with stunning island and lighthouse views

Enjoy incredible ocean, island, and lighthouse views from your private deck at this coastal contemporary Southport vacation rental, an ideal home away from home for families, friends, and lovers of the Maine outdoors.

Stunningly situated to face the Atlantic Ocean, Newagen Harbor, Cape Island, and the Cuckolds Fog Signal and Light Station, this lovely home is surrounded by natural wonders yet lies only six miles from bustling Boothbay Harbor.

Decorated in a patriotic palette of reds, whites, and blues, Frosty Glenn is the ultimate seaside getaway—bright, spacious, and outdoor-oriented in the summer, yet cozy and full of warmth in the winter.

Guests will love mingling in the open living space upstairs, which features towering ceilings, plush furniture, and a cable-equipped flatscreen TV.

The full kitchen, complete with a dishwasher, provides plenty of space to prepare meals, whether you're boiling fresh Maine lobster on the stove or searing local halibut on the gas grill just outside the door.

On chilly evenings, guests can enjoy their meals in the dining room for six, gazing at the ocean through a large wall of windows. But on sun-drenched afternoons, it's best to take your plate to the deck just outside, on which a patio set, a retractable awning, and panoramic views make al fresco dining a unique pleasure.

After dinner, the group can retreat to the family room downstairs, in which a cable TV, DVD player, VCR, and a film library make movie nights relaxing and fun. Looking for something a bit more competitive? There's a selection of adult and child-friendly games as well.

And while the expansive lawn and rugged coastline offer natural wonders, the central AC, private washer and dryer, and WiFi in the home provide every human comfort.

At night, this three-bedroom home has sleeping space for as many as six guests. Upstairs, the master suite features a king bed and a full en-suite bathroom. Downstairs, two bedrooms have a queen and a full bed, respectively, while there is one additional full bathroom for guests to share.

With so much tranquil beauty in Southport, nature enthusiasts will have dozens of opportunities for outdoor exploration. Rent kayaks to explore the untouched landscape of nearby Damariscove Island or walk the easy Hendricks Head Trail, operated by the Boothbay Land Trust, just over three miles away.

Enjoy plush comfort while reconnecting with nature by booking this stunning Southern Maine vacation rental today!

Frosty Glen is in a great location. Is comfortable well equipped & stocked. The view is absolutely gorgeous. The porch & awning provide a very comfortable place ti enjoy the view. Robinsons Wharf kept us well supplied with fresh seafood to cook at Frosty Glen or eat at their restaurant.

We loved staying in this well appointed home with a gorgeous view. The deck was the perfect place to enjoy the lighthouse view and the yard was fun for the little children to run and play.

Wonderful place. Fantastic views and placement on the island. Very fully stocked kitchen with BBQ, washer/dryer, and other conveniences. Like the remote nature and the wonderful library with Newagen right next door for drinks and dinner. But still very close and easy drive to Boothbay. We'll be back!!

Loved the view!

We loved that it was so quiet and the absolutely fantastic view of the bay and the lighthouse. The house was very well equipped. We were there or 4 days and never felt like there was anything we needed that was not already provided. The beds were also very comfortable.

Good accomodations. Good views.

Very clean and well appointed home. Everything you will need for home away from home. Remote location, but that adds to its beauty. Very suitable for large family or 3 couples with multiple sitting areas, beds and baths on 2 levels. We love the serenity of watching the ocean, taking advantage of goodies at the General Store and Robinson's Fish Market and restaurant. We don't travel much into the hustle and bustle of Boothbay Harbor, but If you want to be close to that, may be better to choose another property

we had a great time there, the house is super clean, you find everything you need in that kitchen and the deck is just great. We will return because it´s a perfect home for relaxing vacation.

Very nice home in a beautiful location. Excellent views and layout of the house. 2nd story porch and large kitchen/dining area worked out very well for the large family we brought to this place. Clean inside and nicely landscaped grounds added up to an excellent stay.

We are three couples in our early 60's. We had no trouble getting around this home and it had everything we needed to make our stay a great one.

We have been going to Maine for five years now and I would have to say that this home was the nicest one so far. Great place to stay; private, clean, with three nice bedrooms and two full baths. Only four miles from downtown Boothbay.

This is a lovely home, with beautiful and comfortable furnishings, very bright and an absolutely gorgeous view. Southport is very peaceful, and might be a bit far out for those that want to hit the shops and restaurants in Boothbay Harbor regularly, but if you are looking for R & R and home cooked lobsters with a view, this fits the bill! Perfect setup for families or multiple couples with 2 levels and plenty of space. House is modern, well equipped and although there are houses around, feels very private. Great fish market and restaurant just down the street, and very cute General Store on island for yummy baked goods and small items. We have been vacationing in Boothbay Harbor region for 30 + years and have stayed at Frosty Glen twice. We hope to continue to make this beautiful home our Maine coast vacation retreat for years to come!

Frosty Glen is a welcoming, magical home. Unforgettable view, convenient location, everything we needed for a great vacation. Didn't want to leave!

Beautiful home and property. Clean, well cared for and beautifully furnished and stocked. Location was perfect. I was very impressed there was a gardner who came two different days to take care of the flower beds. Oliver's and Robinson's are excellent eating and both close to the house. I will definately stay here again.

Although the house was very nice the downstairs is not air conditioned. My children ended up sleeping on the floor upstairs because it was so hot. Also, the property does not come with a dock even though a dock is shown in the photos. Other than those things-the house was very nice and the view was gorgeous.
