The wooden interior of the cabin will truly help you feel away from it all, especially with its stone fireplace and little rustic details here and there. Gather with your group around the firepit and roast some s'mores as you listen to the sounds of nature at night. On the second floor, the deck features a convenient gas grill and plenty of seating along with a hammock. Comfortable, am I right? Speaking of comfort, this incredible getaway features a private hot tub for guests overlooking the trees and lush nature.

Blue Ridge is what we would call an "outdoor heaven" as it has become a favorite destination for hikers, fishermen, outdoor enthusiasts, and tourists alike! Walk to the Toccoa and put your own rafts or kayak in. The hiking trails here are something out of this world. If you're in the area, riding the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway is a must-do! You'll ride along the rushing waters of the Toccoa River in a dramatic 24-mile ride. Lake Blue Ridge is a short 15-mile drive up north and it's a great place to fish, swim, enjoy a delightful picnic, and more! There you can also find the best beach for the kids at Morganton Point, which is covered in smooth pebbles.

We had a group of 11 family/friends for a 5 day getaway a couple of weeks ago. Great secluded location, easy access to the River, views, tubing and fishing. Plenty of room in the cabin. We're planning to go back again in the Fall.

The location was great being close to the Toccoa River. This property has a lot of potential but our stay left some to be desired. The hot tub was nice and we enjoyed taking advantage of the campfire for s’mores. The kitchen/den/dining area is spacious. Rooms are very small. There is barely room to get around the rooms with queen-sized beds in each room. There are no dressers to put clothes so we lived out of our suitcases. There is closet space but no hangers and cleaning supplies were stuffed in our closet. WiFi doesn’t work well but that isn’t why we were there. Need to get the door code figured out. Fortunately the back-up code and keys worked once I contacted the owner. We spent two days just leaving the doors unlocked. Vacasa was awful to deal with so thankful I had the owner’s number to message him. How can a property management group not be available 24/7? The owner was great at responding immediately. Thankfully we found a way in the home and weren’t locked out for the 45 minutes I was on hold with Vacasa. Small things like rugs and some furniture need to be replaced as they are overused and dirty or worn out. Nice hot showers. Had all the appliances needed to cook great meals. Brand new grill worked perfectly. Not sure if this is expected of this kind of home in the woods but you can hear all walking around on the floor above you. No room for someone going to sleep early and have others making noise in another part of the house. Futon cover in in-law suite needs to be replaced. The new A/C unit upstairs worked great. It was just replaced hours before our arrival. Again I cannot blame the owner for all of this. He is trying to renovate this home while guests are still staying in it. It will take some time to get it up to his standards. Right now he must be replacing the most critical things. Again this property has GREAT potential. Seems like the new owner was left with a dump and he is giving it the TLC he expects.

They are currently working around existing reservations to give the home the TLC and attention it needs to reach its full potential! They have new rugs, drawers, furniture, appliances, lighting, and more waiting and ready to be set up in the home as soon as there is a vacancy with no guests in the home.  The owner has also updated the internet which is now much faster and ready for guests to enjoy! We are so sorry that you had difficulties reaching our Customer Experience team. We have been hard at work bringing on some great new staff members so we can keep up with the increased volumes we are experiencing due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and we are happy to say that guests can now reach us very easily for any issues, 24/7. We hope you can return soon to see all these amazing updates to this cabin!
