Very nice place, the view is fantastic, able to walk every place, fantastic location and clean rental! The parking was not bad, parked behind complex during the day for $12 and parked at night on the street bellow our room, free parking after 8pm.
Lovely newish apartment, great location.
Just watch the edge of the bed frame. Space is tight and frame sticks out past bed, hit my knee on it twice.
Of course Pikes Place is always a great visitor location. We also went to the slightly unknown and better reserved-star-bucks when they experiment with new coffee beans and taste tests... great place to check out something different in Seattle.
All the apartment furniture was good, IKEA brand quality. Not bad, just not above average either. Regarding the street noise... The fan blocked out most of the street noise. I would recommend that for any stay.
The check in issue was resolved quickly after it was discovered the direction to the lock box were not correct; we saw another family that also had the same issue... The directions indicated to head to spot 21 inside the garage but the lock box desired is right inside the garage door to the right... however, the attendant was very patient and helped us get the key to the apartment. Also, the check in is 4pm, a little late to be getting into a place for the day/night. The preference would be up to a couple hours earlier. Hope they can fix that in the future?!
Place was clean... no issues at all - good job!!!
Recommend curtains for the bed room and possible other rooms; though it was raining while we were in town, it would have been a lot of light in the morning.
Otherwise, our whole reason for being there was to be in Bellevue for most of the weekend; great small area to visit and would highly recommend a day trip to their main street. Have Fun!!!
Use the parking garage (secure and covered) across the street at the Art Institute. $22 bucks for 24 hours. Bring ear plugs. Walk along waterfront and not streets - you will see and pass lots of homeless tents and their garbage. We wanted to fully emerge ourselves in the city life - walking, living in an apartment, being in the "heart of it", and so we did. Now we know we never want to live "in the heart" of it, lol. The rental was GREAT, the location is GREAT (walked to pikes and space needle and shopping), the price is GREAT but the things the rental can't control like street noise, homeless, and parking are not great.
Great location, great clean functional apartment. Plenty of towels and kitchen appliances were made available for our stay. Would recommend to a friend!!
I would like to stay again!
Although this place is conveniently located to a lot of Seattle locations, and is nicely decorated and new; the noise level on Elliott Ave. is a big downfall. I had read this going in, and earplugs were provided (and helped some) but garbage trucks at 4-5 AM most mornings and then rush hour starting soon afterwards, made sleeping difficult. The view of the water and the rooftop deck were very nice. I'm not used to the big city noise, so a nice place to stay but just be aware of the noise level.
Nice place . Convenient location.would come here again.
The location of this unit is great. You can walk about 10 mint to pike place and feel like you are living there instead of just visiting the city. The unit was clean and well stocked. it was nice to have a dish detergent and basic soap etc to start. Having a washer and dryer in the unit also handy. I would caution about the portable ac unit vs a central one during the summer. We did ok by having it in the living room daytime and moving towards bedroom at night but may be challenging in the summer. Then again we are from Florida so ac is key. I would stay in this unit again. Building very clean and appeared secure by using key fob for in and out as well.
We loved the property. Would let other renters know it is on a very busy street and traffic noise is definitely prominent.
Location of the condo was perfect, amenities described were accurate, and the building was clean and secure. It is located by a loud intersection, so if you want a quiet experience, this is probably not the place for you. Also, no spices or cooking oils provided, so bring your own if you intend on cooking! I am from the city, so didn't mind the noise. Aquarium, Chihuly exhibit, space needle, waterfront, and Pike place market all within walking distance. Great place for two!
Although at times I felt bad for the people next store on our tv sound being up here and there because of how loud it was out side lol I would stay there next time it was in a great location as far as if your doing city passes or wanna be down town walking around was amazing truly loved it for our 10 year anniversary only things I would change maybe more home feeling as far as furniture it was a bit stiff would had loved something I could have sunk into after all the walking we did I was so sore another thing I would change is that we had to enter and exit the building throw the parks by garage that wasn't to fun (also the empty parking spot with Vacasa name on it would had been cool we spent more on patching then anything) but overall I liked it beautiful decor the red phone boxs was why I booked the room :)
Walk to everything, clean and cozy for two.
A little tough checking in. Great location. Prefect place for two.
This rental was perfect for a weekend getaway. It was very clean, comfortable, and nicely furnished. The location was great - right across the street from the Bell Harbor Conference Center, an easy walk to lots of restaurants and bars, the piers, Pike Place Market, Olympic Sculpture Park, the Space Needle and more. I'd definitely stay here again!
Loved the apt and everything it had to offer.
Location is close to everything you would want to do. The apartment looked awesome and was equipped with everything one would need. Would stay here again when back in Seattle
We loved the condo, it was the perfect size and location for our visit. We hope to come back soon!
Charming and well designed one bedroom condo. The condo building is surprisingly bigger than it looks but this condo is in a great spot. The bedroom window looks out over the sound. There is no need to rent a car when staying here. We walked to everything! The aquarium, harbor, Ferris wheel, and Pike Market are all within a mile. In the opposite direction, the Space Needle, and several museums are all within a mile as well. The building is new and fresh and the community area is worth checking out. We were also highly impressed with the rental company. We received detailed instructions on how to access the condo and what attractions are nearby. Overall, this was an excellent experience!
Seattle is an amazing city. Very walkable. My favorite bar late night was sonyas. It's got a good vibe and such nice people.
Great place close to everything. And great views.
We were there at our 4:00 check-in time and the keys were not in the lock-box. This left us sitting outside on the street trying to contact vacasa to figure out how we could get into the building. They were very helpful once we were able to make contact, it turns out the housekeeper forgot to place the keys back in the lock-box. After sitting until about 4:30 we were finally able to get in. The unit was nice, but again there were problems with the housekeeping. There was an unpleasant mixture of dirty cleaning solutions and toilet paper in the toilet that the housekeeper had forgotten to flush down, and it was obvious that the housekeeper didn't not clean well under all the furniture. Besides the let downs from the housekeeper the rest of the stay went wonderfully. It was a great location and a very comfortable apartment.
And finally, watch out for that bed frame! We ended up having to use the first aid kit after my wife cut her leg on the bed frame.
We apologize that housekeeping was a bit lacking for this reservation. The Property Manager has followed up with her on these items so she can be more mindful of them in the future.
Very clean and well furnished, this apartment was perfect for my boyfriend and I. Our favorite part was definitely the location. You are 3-5 blocks from everything. Less than that from the water. There's an inexpensive bike share kiosk down at the water just a few blocks from the place that allows you to bike around town very easily, including along the bay on a designated bike trail. I would recommend taxiing from the airport or not renting a car if you're staying in the city since you're already so close to everything and there's no parking spot. Also, be prepared that there is no AC unit in the condo so on hot summer days, you will want to leave the windows open to get a breeze going.
In all, we had a very positive experience and would stay there again.
We really enjoyed our stay at the ArtHouse Apartments. The unit was very clean, comfortable, and offered the items we needed for several days worth of stay. There's a small washer and dryer, and free WiFi. Belltown is located fairly centrally, and many attractions are within walking distance, including the Space Needle, Pike's, and Safeco and CenturyLink fields. If you're not into walking there are many cab companies in the area for your needs. There are TONS of places to eat! TONS. You will not go hungry here! We highly recommend Local 360 and Wasabi. The only downside to downtown stays is the parking. There's a ton of it, but it's not cheap and its not secure. We had a break-in, and we did end up leaving early, because we didn't have a place to take our vehicle where it would be secure. There are hight restrictions everywhere (which unfortunately, was a concern for us because of storage gear and a pop-up tent attached to the top of our vehicle), so we were forced to use the street and paid parking lot options. Plan your parking ahead of time, and be sure to get all of your valuables out of your vehicle before you lock up for the night.
We were very satisfied with the stay. We had a 3 year old with us and it was very easy to get to many attractions. There is no parking in this place. So we need to park across the street which cost us $20 per day. If we knew that all the attractions were walking distance we wouldn't rent a car. The place was very clean, spacious and relaxing. We would stay again.
Pros: spacious, super clean, modern, amply outfitted, cute balcony, great building, walking distance to quite a lot.
Cons: bedroom blinds don't block out much light. Can be noisy from cars (but I'm a New Yorker, so it didn't bother me too much!!) Neighborhood is in a little transition (i.e. Walk to Pike Place market you have to go under an overpass where it's a little desolate for a block or so. I never felt unsafe though, even walking alone at night.)
But: Vacasa proved difficult to reach a person on the phone. (Which was a problem when I accidentally initially went into the BACK garage and couldn't get out. Make sure you use the Elliot St garage entry!!) Very helpful once reached, but I was calling back and calling back for 30-40 mins before I reached a human. The other 2 times I called for minor things, I didn't get someone either. Just be forewarned!
However, that aside, I had a really lovely stay. The little caveats didn't bother me at all, and I'd absolutely stay again and/or recommend the unit to others.
Perfect location in the middle of seattles various destinations!
We only had 2 days in Seattle for a friends wedding and loved the apartment and it's location for exploring downtown and Belltown during the day before our evening events. It is a very comfortable apartment with nice and new furniture and amenities. I would happily stay here again.
The appartment is very well located, perfectly clean and nice.
The view from the rooftop is fantastic.
But unfortunately the appartment is not very well soundproof, it is the only negative point. But after all it was a pleasure to stay here.
A good room. Wish there was some curtains to help cut out the road noise and keep some early morning daylight out. Also the bed frame has some sharp corners at the foot. If you aren't careful walking around the bed, you'll clip your knee and end up with a scrape/bruise like I did.
