Note: While Seattle is a fairly temperate climate, please be aware that this vacation rental does not offer air conditioning. Fans are available if needed.
This unit was beautiful! It was warm yet modern in design. The views are more amazing in person. Waking up to the view of the sea was so cool. The rooms were spacious and the house was very clean! Will return again.
Our stay in the ArtHouse was perfect. We were able to walk all over town. I would stay here again.
We could walk everywhere we planned on going. The view from the balcony was nice. The condo was small but it was perfect for just me and my husband and had everything we needed.
Location was good but road noice was loud. And hard to get into the apartment upon arrival. Room was clean but it’s showing its wear.
Amazing apartment! Incredible views of the sound. Definitely worth every cent. We will stay there every visit to Seattle.
Great location with a fine view of Puget Sound! Loved waking up to the view but traffic was noisy..... windows not sound proof. Loved to be near Pikes Place but felt the instructions were confusing on how to access the key 🔑
It's a good location except the noise from the street is unreal. I seldom ever have problems sleeping and noise doesn't usually bother me but this place was so noisy, I felt like I was on the side of a freeway.
The hallway was hot and smelled awful.
The kitchen cabinets are covered with peeling contact paper or something - it just looks super low rent.
Otherwise, it is clean and convenient to Pike Place Market.
We are glad to see our guest appreciated the ideal location which does, unfortunately, include some street noise. Our unexpectedly hot summer did cause some ventilation issues, and we are working with building management to address the hallway conditions. We appreciate this feedback and have advised the owner of the comments regarding the cabinets. Thank you!
Fabulous location; great view; clean; rooftop patio/lounge
The apartment was within very close walking distance of Pike’s Place and everything downtown which was fantastic. The view from the apartment was gorgeous and we loved sitting out there to watch the sunset.
Things to note prior to booking here:
1. A/C did not work well so during a warm July weekend it took a while to get the place cool enough to sleep at night.
2. The apartment sits right above a very busy street so it is very noisy with all the cars and trucks driving by.
We loved our stay here because it was right across the street from the pier we left out of on our cruise. We also loved it because its a simple walk to the fish market and in the opposite direction it was a bit longer, but great site seeing walk to the Space Needle. As far as the actual space, very clean, very comfortable bed, own private balcony. You do have street noise, but you're going to have that no matter where you stay in this area.
Seattle by the Sea
The apartment is very clean, and has a wonderful water view which is always interesting with regular ferries etc passing by. The apartment was secure, clean and quite comfortable with washer, dryer and dishwasher. It is an easy walk to Pike Place Market, and the waterfront area. We would stay again. It is situated on an extremely busy road so is quite noisy.
We arrived in the evening, after a very long flight, to find the apartment had everything we needed - except a teabag or coffee. It would be good for guests to have just a few minimal items until they can shop. The secure key lockbox instructions need a simplified rewrite. The box was extremely difficult to close and there are no appliance instructions at all.
But, all that aside, we loved Seattle and the Arthouse was very handy to the boat to Victoria and other places we wished to visit.
Location doesnt get any better with walking distance to Pikes Place and downtown. The view was amazing offering the bay and out into the sound. Throughly wonderful trip enjoyed by all!
All amenities of high standard.
We had a super nice stay!!
Excellent location in my favorite Seattle neighborhood, Belltown. Easy walk to everything downtown Seattle. Loved the unfettered view of Elliot bay and the ships!
The place was great for the price!!!! Close to everything and just down the street from Pike Place. Only issue was it could have been cleaner and the vinyl was coming off all the cabinets and drawers but it didn’t bother me too much as they had a broom in the closet and we didn’t use the kitchen cuz there are to many great restaurants around.
Great condo in a perfect location. We walked everywhere and it has an amazing view. It also slept our family of 4 very comfortably.
It is great location! We had a great time watching sunset on rooftop terrace. Close enough to enjoy activities like Space Needle, Pike Place Market, and day trip to Bainbridge Island. We walked all over Seattle.
Great location to walk anywhere in the city, Belltown just up the hill is great for staying local. View is fabulous and building is great. Noise from below traffic is the only negative, bring earplugs and you're set.
This place was convenient. Walking distance to my conference. Walking distance to many things for my wife and kids while I sat in a conference!. I would come back to it.
We stayed here for 4 days in February and had a great stay! Yes the reviews are correct, it is loud because of the traffic, we even heard a boat horn one evening but you have to be realistic with the location. The water views are unreal and the location is perfect so it all balances out. It is about 2 blocks towards the water from the heart of Belltown which is our favorite place to stay in Seattle. In Belltown you get the downtown feeling, with less homeless people and feels much more safe. Belltown is great because you are in walking distance from the Center of downtown Seattle as well and a 10 minute walk from pike! The only thing I would caution is if you are unable to walk up hills you may need to car share or cab many places as it is quite a steep hill outside this building.
The condo itself is very nice! Modern, very clean and comfy! We would definitely stay again we loved the condo, the location and he view!
We really enjoyed our stay! The sky lounge was perfect to watch the fire works go off from the space needle (and multiple other locations) at midnight. Everything in both directions was within reasonable walking distance which was fantasic! We walked to the centrylink stadium and then the opposite way to the space needle in the same day. Enjoyed the aquarium and all the magnificent sea food in the surrounding restaurants! We had no long waits getting into any restaurants, including New Year’s Eve. Thanks for the wonderful first experience Seattle!
This apartment had the most beautiful view to wake up to. Elliott Bay is right outside the windows and sunsets were beautiful from the apartment. It was the perfect size for 2 people to stay. It was a little loud being next to the freeway, but there are complimentary ear plugs for use while sleeping.
I would rent this space again. Great location.
This apartment is in a fabulous location... in easy walking distance to downtown markets, shops, restaurants. Highly recommended .
there is an incredible view of mount Rainer and had perfect weather to see it for both days.
Feels cold and like your in a spaceship. Awful modern feel in lobby not even inviting. Terrible location under freeway and checking in makes you feel totally shady like your not supposed to be there. Apartment faces sun and makes it very hot all night long. Super loud main freeway off ramp in front of apartment. Yes you can see Elliot bay but there is an awful rooftop in front of you. For the price, it didn't even have hand soap in the bathroom. Stay at Ace Hotel.
We are sorry to see the units decor did not suit this guest's preferences. We also apologize that housekeeping missed stocking soap in the bathrooms for this visit.
My daughter and I stayed here two nights first week of August. Due to an unusual high ridge of atmospheric pressure, the temperature was in the 90s. Two fans were provided, which helped a little if directly on you. Luckily the smoke from the big fire in British Columbia the week we were there hadn't really reached Seattle yet as it did later in the week when we stayed at another location, but it was definitely hot and muggy.
The unit is modern and has most of the amenities needed - would say it was fine for two of us but four would have been pushing it. The building is in a great location with great views of the harbor, within walking distance to Pike Place Market, Space Needle, Pier 69, etc.
The biggest con was the street noise, even with the windows closed. Bring earplugs. Elliott Avenue, where the building is located, seems to be a throughway to get on to the Alaskan Way Viaduct (highway 99) and people seem to accelerate pretty aggressively at this location. Have stayed further up the hill on Second Street and it is still loud but nowhere near the level at Art House - literally sounded like we were on top of a freeway or at a car race during rush hour.
My family and I stayed at Seattle By The Sea in July. It was on the warm side for Seattle, which is unusual (mid 80s all week). The apartment is conveniently located to various eating places. Also, Pike Place Market is within walking distance, as well as other places of interest. The apartment was a little tight for the 4 of us, but for 2 people I would definitely recommend this apartment.
The harborview is fabulous! The location is fabulous! Thx for a great Seattle visit!
My boyfriend and I came to Seattle for a weekend getaway. The location of this property was pretty great. It was about a 5 minute walk to Pike Place Market and 2 to 3 minute walk to restaurants and shops. The amenities of this unit were great. We really enjoyed the roof top deck!!!
I loved the place. Great location and value. Just initial access to the property was confusing with a midnight arrival.
Got checked in and could not get the air on. Noticed house was dusty and dog hair on furniture and pillows. Kitchen stocked good. Everything was comfy. Amazing view and location.
The location of this apartment was perfect and the apartment was comfortable with stunning views of Elliott Bay and Pugent Sound. The apartment was perfectly clean and was well equipped with everythng I needed. The only negative I should mention is the bed frame, which is simply dangerous. The foot board sticks out abut 4 inches from the sides of the bed and its really easy to hit with your shin and while I didn't breeak anything I had multiple bruises from hitting the footboard. This could cause a broken bone or cause a fall and should be replaced with one that has a footboard flat with the side of the bed. I would definately stay in this proerty again.
We are sorry to see this guest had difficulties with the bed. The Property Manager has inspected the bed and has not found it to be a hazard. Thank you!
Enjoyed everything about this condo, nice and cozy, warm and beautiful view! Forgot to take advantage of the balcony views at night but enjoyed the next day and loved the location, perfect for walking to Lola, Pike Place Market and the Olympic Sculpture Park nearby. Will return soon and recommend to friends!
This place has breathtaking views, in a safe place and minutes walk to the market. However, when we arrived it was apparent that the floors had not been swept, therefore not mopped. When taking back the sheets there were hairs in it, when changing the sheets to the extra set they were wet. We found the detergent for the washer were pods that did not break open for our wash, after buying new detergent, we felt it necessary to rewash all towels, rugs, bedding, blankets. etc. to feel as comfortable as possible. Recommend the views, but the cleanliness factor was a deal breaker for us. Hope either training is done with current staff to make this wonderful for all.
We sincerely apologize that housekeeping was lacking for this reservation. The housekeeper will be further trained and inspected to ensure this does not happen again.
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here. The unit was a good size and it was convenient to have a kitchen, as well as the washer/dryer. It got a little warm during the afternoons, as the unit gets afternoon sun, but we opened up the balcony door to take advantage of the breeze so it wasn't too bad. This is a downtown location, so the traffic noise wasn't something we were used to, but a pair of earplugs did the trick. The furnishings were comfortable, the view of the bay was fantastic, and (other than the floor needing a good mopping) it was clean.
This property is perfect for a quick getaway from home. You have a full kitchen making it great if you want to go to the market and grab some fresh seafood as well as other fresh meats and veggies to cook in your own time. The view was absolutely fantastic and the location puts you within walking distance of everything you would want to see in Seattle.
Seattle by the Sea is very comfortable and well located and great view of the Seattle Sound. We enjoy our stay, the unit was well equipped and appointed. Thanks
Close to all of the sights!
Awesome spot for 2 people. Walking distance to the Public Market and a killer view of the Sound.
The unit was clean and exactly as pictured. No air conditioning so quite hot and since its on a noisy street you need to close the windows at night. Location is great but not having parking included is difficult. We booked last minute so it worked well for us.
Nice in city experience! Highly recommend this location in Seattle. Felt part of the neighborhood. Much better than a stuffy over priced hotel. Read check-in steps closely. Very easy to do once you read the directions. Like others stated- this apartment is a little loud - but you're in the city. People in building seem very nice. Would stay here again. Clean we'll run building. Parking very very easy across street.
We enjoyed the location of our apartment. It made it easy to walk to many of the great Seattle sites including Pike Market. It was clean, modern, and functional. We invited our friends over to enjoy the rooftop lounge area which was comfortable and provided a beautiful view. However, the apartment faced a busy street and the traffic made it difficult to sleep at night. A fan supplied some white noise, however we had to use a fan app on our phone to drown out most of the noise. Even then, motorcycles, dump trucks, etc. woke us up many times each night. So, if you are use to urban noise then it shouldn't be an issue. If you are looking for a quiet little spot to get away, I would suggest looking elsewhere.
Loved the location. Smart, small apartment with extraordinary views of Puget Sound.
Very clean and walking distance to many attractions. Parking was inconvenient
Awesome location, can walk to everything!
Baggage drop off is a necessity.
We could have walked to Pikes, Needle, central Belltown...Parking was a breeze. So convenient and beautiful. I just wanted to sit in front of the window and watch the sound all day and night.
Noise and light - not a problem and I'm a sensitive sleeper. I did bring my ear plugs and eye cover and this made all the difference.
Kitchen was perfect for cooking amazing breakfast meals [and dinner] and bath amenities were a nice touch [shampoo and conditioner + soap] Towels were soft. Blankets were perfect.
The preparation to arrive at the apartment was so reassuring and well planned. Made planning and arrival super super easy - I wish other rentals communicated as organized and efficiently!
Our stay at the Vacasa unit went very smoothly and worked out perfectly. The location had a great view of the bay with easy access to highways and downtown Seattle. The place was clean and felt very comfortable.
Only concern is that parking is not included, therefore you have to pay for parking on the street. But due to location it was not an issue to find easy parking around the area. Just something to be aware of.
Overall the stay was great and the place was amazing. Thank you Vacasa for your service and I would definitely recommend this place friends and guests.
Great location convenient to many Seattle tourist sites. Clean and well equipped. Bed very comfortable, firm, nice bedding. Good storage. Lovely view
However, the location abuts a feeder ramp to the expressway and the windows leak sound and blinds leak light. If you stay bring earplugs and eye shades.
We really enjoyed our stay here. The place was very nice, clean, quiet and friendly. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends.
Very nice location. We had an awesome view of the waterfront. Vacasa provided a lot of tools for us, from cooking utensils to fresh linens.
