We had a great time in King's Beach. Would do it all over again and am extremely satisfied with VaCasa. I will always look here first for vacation rentals.

This place has 4 bedrooms so it can accommodate a large group but the living area is to small . The kitchen is sparse when it comes to pots and pans . There is a sign when you enter the house asking to remove your shoes before entering. It was very obvious by how dirty the carpets were that nobody did that. There are a few more little things that could use some tlc and it would make this place more enjoyable

Overall this was a good size cabin with an excellent location to all of the North Shore Resorts. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, utensils, and cookware. Garage is large enough for two cars. Beds are comfortable. Lots of extra linen and blankets throughout the cabin. Washer and dryer inside are definitely a plus. The down side of this cabin is the heating. On the top floor, there is only a furnace to heat up the area. Getting this furnace to work is like pulling teeth. At least six of us tried to get it going, the directions on the wall were very clear, but it seemed to only work when it wanted to. There is no central air upstairs either, so it gets very cold if the furnace isn't turned on. There was also a broken faucet upstairs, which left only the cold water valve available for COLD COLD water. The bedroom on the very bottom floor was also freezing as there was no warm central air coming through the vents and the furnace was problematic.

Overall, this cabin was nice. As long as the maintenance is upkept and the furnaces are in working condition 100% of the time, then this is definitely a good place to relax in and enjoy beautiful North Shore.

    Manager Response:

The faucet has been repaired and the furnace is working well. We are happy to assist guests that struggle with getting the furnace going.

Really enjoyed our stay! Location was fantastic. Lovely kitchen with an awesome powerful butane stove. Kitchen had a working dishwasher, plenty of dishes, cookware, utensils...etc. Loved how the backyard was fenced off as we were able to just leave the children playing with snow in the backyard for hours on a snowy blizzard day when we couldn't really drive anywhere. The dinning table was a great size with a nice long bench to accommodate giggly kids. The kids' room with the bunk bed, couch, long activity table and TV were a huge plus for us. The multiple TV/cable remotes were confusing to operate. The gas furnace didn't work in the family room upstairs and in 2nd master's bedroom (next to kids' room). The master's bath didn't have hot water but was addressed promptly by local manager (within an hour-thanks Todd!). I had to leave 2 voice mails with Vacasa with questions, and both times someone responded back within hours even on a holiday, really appreciated that! Holiday daily rate was a bit pricey given there are other properties nearby but this house sure was a beautiful home and we all really enjoyed our stay! Thank you!

We came to Tahoe for a family vacation. After many unsuccessful reservations via another website. I cam across vacasa.com and I was able to book this property. We love the house but there were a few drawbacks as stated above.

4 days with broken water heater without response from local manager or vacasa. Finally on the 4th day, our family left the rental unable to shower or wash our clothes. Vacasa and its local manager, never returned our desperate calls for help. Never had we experience such terrible customer service and lack of respect for their guest. Never again with Vacasa.

    Manager Response:

We are very sorry that Vacasa dropped the ball on this reservation. The hot water heater died and has been taken care of, and this guest has been refunded for their terrible experience. We hope to have another chance to impress!

The house was very comfortable, clean, and spacious. There was plenty of space for people to sleep. The house is in a great location, as it is walking distance to the shore of Lake Tahoe, and driving distance to a Safeway and multiple ski resorts. The Vacasa staff was helpful and responsive.

Everything was great... Except next time I'd know to bring my own pillow and I would know that the beds may leave us all a little stiff. Make sure you pick the bedroom with the T.V. that works and know that that some rooms get really really hot while the others stay really really cold.

Beautiful newish house in a great location for Northstar skiing. It slept 9 of us easily. Really nice place but it needs some attention and maintenance. The upstairs bathroom faucet hot water knob got stuck "on" and fell through the cabinet. I tried calling Vacasa 3 times but no one answered or responded to my voicemail. No soap left at the property so we showered with the one hand soap at the property. We bought our own soap the next day at nearby Safeway.

    Manager Response:

Thank you for sharing your review. We are sorry that you were unable to reach us and we will make sure that the customer service number in the home is correct. We appreciate you letting us know about the faucet and we have let our property manager know. We will make sure that it is fixed immediately so our guests do not have to have the same experience.

Our family had a wonderful experience at this King's Beach home. The home seems to be recently updated with modern fixtures and appliances. The home was very clean and the bedrooms were all spacious. The property management company was very communicative and responded quickly to my questions. Everything worked out perfect with this home. I would stay her again and recommend this home to family and friends. A bingo bonus was the kids were able to go sledding behind the house which made it easy and convenient.
