I spent a few days here in late October and it was a nice quiet relaxing time I was hoping for. Since it was the off season I think I had the entire building to myself and being across the river from the shops and restaurants meant it was wonderfully quiet. Everything is a short drive away though and it was a nice place to plan out daily excursions to various parks along the West Coast.

There were only 2 points I should note. It didn't bother me so I'm still leaving 5 starts but it should be noted at least. First is that the hearing unit is one of those wall mounted units you find in hotels so when it kicks on it's loud. And with the bed next to the unit, if you are a light sleeper it might be rough. Also the shade on the front "door" (a sliding glass door) doesn't fully cover the entire thing. There's a slight opening on either side of the glass door. The street is not busy at all but it's something to note.
Manager response:
Hi, Tim! We are so glad you had the opportunity to relax while staying with us and hope you will be pleased to hear the blinds have been repaired and the neighbors have been spoken with regarding the noise complaint. Thank you!

Great location, beautiful river view, nice and quiet spot to relax for a few days. Small but has everything you need to get away.

This place was a perfect find for a two night getaway! We loved sitting on the patio and watching all the boats going by. The bed was super comfortable and we had everything we needed.

Location. Location. Location. Nice, comfortable space with a well equipped kitchen, cozy furnishings and an amazing riverfront patio for relaxing and watching boats travel the Kalamazoo River. Located in a quiet area away from the hustle and bustle of the town but just a skip down the street to the ferry in order to cross the river for restaurants, shopping, entertainment, etc. A short walk to Mt. Baldhead. We will definitely keep this place in mind when traveling to the area in the future.
