Enjoy this little piece of heaven on earth where rural meets elegance at Eagle Ridge Chalet! This dog-friendly home offers three levels where you'll find nothing but comfort. The lower level has the main bedroom with a queen bed, a private deck, a wood stove, and a living room with a futon and pull-out sofa. On the middle (main) level, you'll find an open floor plan with vaulted ceilings and marvelous wood touches throughout. Two huge decks add comfort and space into the equation. There you'll come across an outdoor dining area with grill–dining with garden views is a great perk of this retreat. The living area is a great spot to unwind, gather with your friends, or just spend time by yourself lost in a good book. Turn on the flatscreen TV and watch your favorite movie with delicious snacks in hand. The wood-burning fireplace will keep everyone warm–cold days and nights won't stand a chance here! Channel your inner chef, thanks to the spacious, fully-equipped kitchen. Tall windows will let in plenty of sunlight and forest views will be easy to admire. This is a four-level home and the owner lives in the lower portion of the home but guests will have the full top three levels to themselves.
What's nearby:
This dog-friendly retreat will help you get away from it all, but you won't be too far away from the city in case you'd like to enjoy your fair share of city life. You'll be 11.5 miles from the charming downtown area of Port Angeles where you can watch ships in the marina, discover unique shops, and dine in local restaurants. You better pack your most comfortable pair of shoes as additional options for fun here include walking tours of the city, museums and galleries, and whale-watching excursions. Nearby downtown is the Olympic National Park Visitor Center, a 38-acre campus offering educational exhibits, nature trails, and backpacking information. Hiking is a great option too; explore the jaw-dropping trails around Lake Crescent. Less than 30 miles south is the Hurricane Ridge Ski Area. Winter sports enthusiasts will be happy with all of the options they can try there. Snowmobiling, snowshoeing, downhill skiing, skiing, snowboarding, tubing, and more! And for a fun day trip, head over to Forks, Washington to see the town where author Stephenie Meyer based her Twilight book series, just 56.6 miles southwest.
