Modern lake house w/waterfront access, lake views & mid-century modern touches.

This isn't your grandma's lake house, though hers is probably lovely too. Gaze out onto Lake Chelan from this minimalist-but-comfy retreat. The views from the balcony are best enjoyed with a glass of wine in hand. Everyone can gather around the sizable kitchen island that doubles as a classy dining area - the full kitchen features high-end appliances to help in your vacation cooking projects. The private washer/dryer can take care of the swimsuits and/or blankets (there's a reason we set a throw blanket on each bed - the balcony's view practically begs to be watched while the sun goes down). Low-set, comfortable beds in the bedrooms add to the overall "clean lines" aesthetic. Views of the lake and the surrounding shore can be seen from each bedroom. Because who would want to look away?

What's nearby:
Willow Point Park is just under a half mile away. Manson Bay Park offers a more "dockside" lake experience at just under one-and-a-half miles from the home. Also one-and-a-half miles out, Rootwood Cider Taproom offers cider tastings and flights (yes, they will fill your growler). The area abounds with wineries, but the closest to this home (at two miles away) is Wapato Point Cellars, which offers wine tasting kits you can enjoy on your own time.

Great view of Lake Chelan across from the state park, we really enjoyed our time at Revens Den. The house was spectacular.
The architect really had some vision on how to accommodate such a steep building lot.

Such a relaxing and beautiful space with a big deck and view you won't want to leave! 15 min from downtown Chelan. Very quiet location. We'll definitely be coming back. Only thing we would've loved was a toaster.

This house is beautifully setup with all modern finishes. It had everything we needed and more- king size beds, everything we needed in the kitchen, etc. it’s also close to wineries, hikes and right on the lake.

Highly recommended, modern interior and quiet place.

Lovely, new home with beautiful views. Very well outfitted for cooking - better than any vacation home we've stayed in before. Very comfortable beds.

Very comfortable and beautiful home overlooking Lake Chelan. Quality of the home build is top notch with high-end appliances. Would definitely rent again! Only downside is the access to the home is a bit tricky, particularly at night. The access driveway is steep and narrow. I would advise that folks arrive when there's sunlight to easy of visibility.

This place was perfect! The views were one of a kind, photos can’t do it justice! The home itself was well-kept and clean. Couldn’t recommend it enough!

We loved staying at Ravens Den. The views off the deck are amazing, and it is the perfect place for relaxing. The home is quite well equipped with everything you would need.

Beautiful and functional home with a lovely kitchen for spending time together. Great shower and amenities, comfortable beds, and location close to Willow Point Park.

While we appreciated the view, space, and furnishing of this property, I have to also include the negative.

1. Construction - This property, the owner's property immediately adjacent, and a neighboring property within 50 yards are still under some form of construction/finishing. This could be an issue for some guests wishing for more privacy and quiet. Additionally, the external areas of the rental property are unfinished or not landscaped leaving a poor impression. It should be noted the owner's unit is immediately adjacent, including the owner's pool situated immediately below the rental unit's deck. This could be an issue if both properties were being used at the same time.

2. Rodents - We had issues with mice in the unit and reported the issue to Vacasa. Unfortunately neither Vacasa nor the owner followed-up. Upon arrival, a live mouse was found in the trash can under the sink, and later, a mouse was seen running across the living room. In both cases, I had to remove the beasts from the building, alive of course. To make matters worse, we noticed an odor of a dead rodent in the bathroom, and suspect a dead mouse is likey under the tub.

3. Parking - The check-in instructions required that guests not park in the natural parking spot just below the unit, but instead park along the access street on a steep hill. Parking proved to be a major hassle, complicated by the hill and having to turn around amidst construction debris. I think the owner should better plan how guests will park for this property as some may find this completely unacceptable. You do have to walk down a very steep hill to access the property from the road above.

4. Modern amenities/design - The house is well-equipped w/ a modern Sonos sound system, wifi, powered blinds, among other amenities. Unfortunately, there were no instructions on how to operate these things. Since I'm technically savvy, I figured everything out except for the blinds. Vacasa couldn't get me an answer on that. At one point, music started playing thru the bedroom speakers and we had no idea how to stop it. Additionally, some may find the modern design frustrating or inadequate. The bathroom sink for instance is extremely shallow and makes quite a mess when using. The deck glass railing also seemed a bit sketchy although looked great.

Overall, I'm not sure all of the details were thought out on renting out this property. The rodent issue definitely needs addressing first, and the parking issue is probably the next challenge. If I were the owner, I'd want to make sure people understood how to operate things in the house to avoid issues and to avoid damage.
Manager response:
Hi, Nathan! We appreciate your feedback and are so sorry mice were an issue during your stay. We have been able to resolve this matter and hope you will consider staying again. Thank you!
