This place was wonderful. I've stayed in a lot of vacation homes and this one was by far my favorite. This is one of those houses that makes you feel really thankful the owners are willing to share it with others. The house is quite spacious but still felt really cozy even with just two of us. The fireplace downstairs was super easy to use and was perfect for the cold nights we stayed up late playing games at the table. The back decks look out into empty land with only a few small houses sprinkled in the distance and a perfect view of the night sky. We saw the Milky Way and shooting stars! It felt really magical and private even with neighbors on one side and a church on the other. (The church isn't close, but I assumed I'd hear some activity over there on Sunday morning - however, I didn't hear anything. I never heard anyone else when we were there, so it was really quiet and relaxing.) The hot water in the tub in the upstairs bathroom seems to be capped at a temperature that was a bit too cold to use in chilly weather, (we realized that after filling up the tub,) but there is a fireplace right beside it that I'm sure would've helped if we had turned it on. The master bed was so, so comfortable, I slept better than I have in ages. We enjoyed it so much, we extended our stay. I hope to rent it again soon!
