I literally loved EVERYTHING about this home! The view was perfect! The home was super clean and looked just like the pictures . Me and my family stayed here to celebrate my 30th birthday and I must say that I would definitely come here again and again. Check in and check out were a breeze. The area is peaceful and beautiful. We enjoyed every minute of our stay. This was my first time booking with vacasa but now my family is sharing this app with everyone they know! Thank you for helping my day come together with this beautiful lakehouse getaway!

The condo was absolutely perfect! We lived the layout of the home and the view was even better than expected. The only thing that wasn’t great was the availability of food, however now that we know that most of the little restaurants close in the beginning of October, as well as how far the drive is back into town to buy food for the condo, we will be better prepared with food to make at the condo next time! Very easy check in and out, and definitely want to come back again.

The home itself was awesome! Vacasa and the advertisement, were NOT! Upon arriving at 1:00am, the code they sent did NOT work! We had to call and get a lock box code for a key. Thankfully, my sister had 1 bar of service (Verizon) our phones, (AT& T) had NO SErvice) in this area. We would have been stranded with no hotel to even drive to within an hour and a half, with our kids. Vacasa was supposed to send us a new code. They NEVER did! We called 4 times throughout the stay and never got a code. We all had to stay together when we went out as we only had 1 key and no code.
Vacasa also advertises a shared hot tub. We used the lovely pool and went to use the small circular “hot tub” located next to the pool, only to find it is a 1ft BABY POOL with no jets, but the signage does mention swim diapers! Finally, the listing says “water activities” at the shared dock. We thought we could swim, and brought our fishing poles too. NO! The dock houses only home owners boats and home owners water crafts. There are signs that state no swimming. (So unless you have your own person boat housed at this specific dock, your “water activities ,” as listed in the advertisement, will be looking at the water!
*On a positive note, the actual house, furnishings, and view of the lake, are all wonderful. It was the false advertisement in the Vacasa listing and HORRIBLE customer service, after calling 4 times and the local agent in the Smokies, not getting back in touch with us; that were terrible. Our first experience renting from Vacasa, and they were terrible, we will stick with VRBO and Airbnb.
