Our family stayed at this home for a long weekend, and we were wishing that we had booked for longer because it was so pleasant! The house is pristine, well-appointed, and has a great open layout that gives it an airy feel. It looks out onto an amazing property. We enjoyed watching the wildlife from the back windows and taking walks around the small lakes. It was a nice break from the big city. We hope to visit again soon!

Not sure what to expect when we pulled up... it was like we walked into a magazine....we were astounded to see two beautiful lakes there to greet us.. They are hidden from the highway so it took our breath away to see the sunlight reflecting off them as the ducks took to flight. That was just the beginning. The house was amazing and brand new. No expense was spared. It was like staying in a resort. We especially enjoyed the fishing, driving around the property and exploring. Tons of wildlife and birds galore. Would highly recommend. What a peaceful getaway!

Gorgeous property, away from the hustle and bustle. A few minutes away from Wimberly with fun boutiques, gift shops and great restaurants. The house is beautiful, open and takes full advantage of the landscape. Hiking, fishing and relaxing on the back porch with a cup of coffee or glass of wine- either way, it makes for a perfect weekend.

We had such a relaxing weekend at Hidden Lakes Ranch. The home is absolutely amazing (it must be brand new). The owners thought of every little detail for our stay. The purpose of our trip was to have a relaxing girl’s get-away while enjoying nature. I love all the huge windows that bring the beauty of nature indoors (the views are breathtaking). The property sits on a lot of acres with several places to fish & lots of trails for walking. One of my favorite spots was the covered back patio. There are ceiling fans & plenty of comfy outdoor seating. We started our mornings out there with a hot cup of coffee & ended our days in the same spot drinking wine while gazing at the stars. There are some great restaurants close by if you don’t want to cook & Wimberly is close if shopping is your thing. I’m looking forward to going again & I give this place a 5 star rating!

I spent these three days at this Blanco Ranch with my three adult girls. We enjoyed visiting while surrounded with Hill Country beauty and walking around the lakes on the property. We spent one day in Wimberley - less than an hour away. We enjoyed every shop and a delicious meal. The beds are so comfortable and the kitchen and its equipment is very handy. Our time together in this lovely place with no interruption brought us closer together. We enjoyed our time at the Ranch so much we did not venture out again, but I know that San Marcos with its shopping outlets and winding downtown river as well as Fredericksburg are close by for day visits. I look forward to going again soon with my husband. He will love the fishing and seeing the game in the area.
