Family-friendly, vintage lodge with gas fireplace, loft, and private gas grill!

Step inside and set your boots on the rack to dry. This vintage lodge, built in 1977 (with some updates!), is outfitted perfectly for a family or group to enjoy themselves in this haven near the lake and forest. Set on the only road in the neighborhood with year-round access, the lodge features a wide variety of features to keep guests comfortable. Wood paneling throughout and brick work around the fireplace show off this home's style in a modern fashion. Feel free to cuddle up on the couch next to the gas fireplace, which is equipped to heat up the entire lodge. The DVD library will provide hours of entertainment when everyone's ready to settle in, and guests can play their favorite songs on the Bose speaker. Of course, extra sheets and blankets will help set everyone up with their desired level of warmth - this includes the downstairs bedroom and the upstairs loft! The private washer/dryer will help out with gear and swimsuits while you relax. Enjoy access to a full kitchen with lots of kitchen tools and essentials - no need to head to the store for a cup of sugar! Enjoy cooking up delicious main courses on the Weber grill on the deck, which has plenty of room for dining with a neighborhood view. This lodge with the heart of a cabin is ready and waiting to host your getaway!

What a wonderful place the owners have created! The attention to details in the decor and provisions left us in awe. We especially loved the retro feel. The loft was super cozy. What a great weekend! We really hope we get to come back and experience it again!

Lakedale Lodge was a great weekend getaway. The cute cabin was VERY well appointed. From a new Weber BBQ on the deck, to kitchen cookware, spices, you name it. The kitchen has a brand new French-door style fridge and brand new propane range/oven which made cooking enjoyable. There are lots of extras in case you forgot something (toiletries, etc). DVD's, beach towels, you name it. It was all really well thought out by the owners and very obvious they care about the place and their guests. The decor is welcoming and very comfortable. We had 2 couples and had plenty of room and plenty of privacy with the loft being the 2nd sleeping area. The loft has its own 1/2 bath so no creeping down the stairs in the middle of the night! We ended up meeting several of the neighbors and everyone was very friendly. Speelyi Beach, on Cle Elum Lake, is about a two minute drive down the road. The lake was low when we were there, but no problem...who needs a launch ramp when you can back your water toys right in the water anywhere on the beach! (4WD is a must however) The lake was gorgeous and the water was perfect to cool off in on the 90 degree day we had. The beach was packed, so get there early if you know its going to be a nice day...we secured our spot by 9am, and by 11am water-access parking was hard to find. The cute town of Roslyn, WA (famous from the TV show Northern Exposure) is about 10 minutes or less down the road. Some neat pubs and restaurants there and just a nice, quaint feeling. Everyone had a great time and we'd definitely go back and do it again.
