Log cabin walls and beautiful furnishings burst from this colorful cabin to ensure guests feel right at home. Even the dogs will love this cozy space, but please keep in mind there is an associated fee.

With a stone-framed fireplace, a TV, sofa, and chair, the living room is a great spot for quiet evenings in with your loved ones. Use the TV's DVD player to have a movie night, play games across the coffee table, or use the stereo and WiFi to play music while you chat and laugh together.

Loved it.

Spacious kitchen and dining area, ability to sleep 2 couples and up to 6 children. Nice bench swing on front porch to enjoy the mountain air and peace/quiet.

We loved this cabin. Clean, comfortable, and had a well stocked kitchen. Great wifi, close to shopping and restaurants. The upstairs is incredibly charming.
We couldn't find the slow cooker but we nade due with a large stock pot.

The house was clean and what we expected from the pictures. The location is walking distance to a bunch of restaurants. My family loves Idyllwild and we would definitely stay in this cabin again.

Stayed with four adults and two children and we loved it! The property suited our needs perfectly, kitchen was fully stocked for us to cook all meals. Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed in this cozy cabin over Christmas. It was a nice touch having a Merry Christmas decoration on the front door when we arrived. We enjoyed the nice big table in the kitchen so everyone could enjoy meals together. We spent a lot of time on the front porch. The swing is wonderful.
Pierre A. Nov 2017
The cabin was as expected, nice and big enough for more than 4 persons.
Susanne C. Nov 2017
This was a great place to stay! Aside from a few improvements, I would recommend this cabin.

I came here with 8 people and a dog and there was plenty of space for everyone to sleep and eat. Location was very close to the town so we didn't even have to drive to the multitude of dining and shopping options Idyllwild had to offer.

We enjoyed our stay. The cabin is cute and large enough for our party of 9. It's conveniently located within walking distance from shops, etc., but on a quiet street.

Except for a few housekeeping issues, it was a pleasant place to stay. You might want to bring up your own shampoo (some was provided, but not much), some better TP and make sure you check the dishes and beds to make sure they are clean before using. Hopefully they will address those issues.

Also of note: there are no safety railings on upper bunks and the second bedroom upstairs is very small.

Enjoyed our stay here. House was clean and stocked with basic amenities including lots of spices that I am assuming previous guests have left behind. Really nice surprise to have came across to a welcome bag with basic supplies from Vacasa including a deck of cards. I would definitely stay here again. This cabin is located close to other cabins however I still got a good sense of privacy from the neighbors.

This is the second time I've stayed at this cabin and appreciate the location and layout of the bedrooms. The kids LOVED the bunk bed room and exploring at the close-by Strawberry Creek and town area. The Vacasa team was quick to respond to queries before our visit, and the lockbox was an easy way to check-in and check-out.

For the money it was a good stay. Nice little cabin just a few blocks out of town.

Home was very clean. I would love to stay there again

The house is clean and well maintained. The only thing it lacked was wood for fireplace but not sure if if it was supposed to have it.
Melinda L. Oct 2016
I would say bring your own pots and pans, i would highly recommend you bring your own, and maybe your own lined.
They are not as clean as a hotel.
Manager Response:
We appreciate this feedback and will take it to the owners. Thank you!

It was a great cabin, good location, clean, spacious. A very nice porch swing where we enjoyed the cool breezes. We have stayed here before and we will definitely stay here again.
Laurie M. Jun 2016
Loved our stay. Enjoyed hiking. Cute little town.

We loved out stay at The Phoenix House. It's located right next to a very quiet road, a 10 minute walk from town hall and Idyllwild center. The location is shaded with old pine trees (smell some bark, there's a hint of vanilla). The front porch turned out to be a great resting place. The space inside is huge and we took plenty of advantage of that. Take a short walk to Tommy's for breakfast and expect your stay to be great.

Loved this home.. So comfortable and cozy.. Great porch and bedrooms were very nice.. The bunk beds worked out great for the girls. Would definitely recommend this property.
Luis M. Apr 2016
We booked this cabin at the last minute, and we couldn't have found a more perfect cabin and location. The cabin is within walking distance to center of town where you'll find restaurants/shops/grocery store, and only short drive to the local attractions such as the nature center, the various hiking trailheads, and near Lake Hemet.

The cabin was cozy, and served all of our needs. The only feedback would be that the living room is a little small to have everyone sit together, requiring our group to split between the living room and the dining room. The dining room has plenty of chairs.

Overall, it's a great value, and would certainly consider staying here again!!!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Pheonix House. Loved the house / cabin, it is spacious, yet cozy. Very nicely appointed. Love the large claw foot tub.
The pots and pans need replaced; bring your own.

This worked well for 3 adults and 3 kids. The kids enjoyed playing on the bunk beds, and we had two full beds upstairs. Good kitchen to cook in, easy walk into town.
Roger & Nancy V. Feb 2016
it was clean, it has heater, fireplace, wonderful front yard view, very close to stores and little shopping centers, loved it
Laura S. Dec 2015
This cabin is all about location. Perfect for a walk to town, and easy driving from main hwy. Love the porch swing, large dining room table, fireplace and heating and hot water system. Daughter loved the big stair railing for sliding down! True to their description - take your own pans if you have any cooking needs. They have coffee pot, tea kettle, lots of utensils, but very old pots. Very small TV and sitting room. Be Warned!! Top Bunks don't have railings as of 12/2015. Not suitable for sleeping.
