Lower-level oceanview studio - close to the beach, dogs ok!

Cozy and inviting with gorgeous ocean views, a gas fireplace, and nearby beach access, this dog-friendly vacation rental is perfect for couples or a few close friends. Walk to the beach or take a short drive into town to explore the unique attractions of Lincoln City!

Located on the lower level of the Sandstone Point condominium complex, this hotel-style studio's convenient location puts you front and center to all the best of the Oregon Coast. Kayak or boat on Devils Lake (two and a half miles north), try your luck on the fun slot machines and card tables at Chinook Winds Casino Resort (five miles north), or spend a day beachcombing and uncovering hidden treasures from the sea with beach access just a block or so away.

A cozy studio, this rental has a no-frills interior yet is still quite comfortable with a flatscreen TV atop a gas fireplace, a king-size bed, a kitchenette, and a full bathroom and vanity. On chilly days, flip on the fireplace and snuggle together with a loved one to enjoy a favorite cable series or update social media using the WiFi.

When it's clear and dry outside, take in the exceptional coastline views from the outdoor balcony, which is also the perfect place to pour a glass of Oregon pinot and watch a dazzling sunset. Back inside, you can warm up your leftovers from last night's meal using the microwave and store whatever you don't eat in the mini-fridge. For that all-important morning cup of coffee you'll even have a coffeemaker.

With a fresh cup of joe and a crisp local newspaper in hand, head outside to relax on the shared courtyard, where salty sea air blows and seagulls caw. For a small nightly pet fee, your pooch could even accompany you on your Lincoln City adventures.

When your day comes to an end, retreat to the comfy king bed, ideal for two guests. But before you drift peacefully off to sleep with visions of tomorrow's adventures running through your mind, take a minute to plan some day trips, which might include a kayak tour of Siletz Bay, seasonal whale-watching farther south in Depoe Bay, or a hike through the majestic Coast Range beginning at the Drift Creek Falls trailhead 15 miles east.

You'll also find a variety of eclectic dining options and quaint boutique shopping just a short drive north or south on Highway 101, so get out and explore!

Enjoy all the convenience of a hotel-style property without sacrificing the comforts of home when you stay at this dog-friendly Northern Oregon Coast vacation rental! A damage waiver, covering up to $2,000 of accidental damage to the property or its contents, is included in the cost of your reservation.

Clean, efficient, and walking distance to the beach - what more could you want!

Our room was apparently near the laundry facilities. It would make loud noise in our room at 11:30 pm and then quieted and started in again around 12:30 am. I called and was told if it kept up they would make proper calls to resolve it. It ended at that time. Otherwise was an awesome room and we enjoyed ourselves

Perfect view, awesome price!

We enjoyed our stay, room was clean and the bed was more on the firm side. We had a great view with beautiful sunsets. The room was warm it didn’t have a fan we had to buy one. There was no screen door if we had one we could have the door open and it would have kept it cool. It would have been nice if there was a small dresser to help keep your clothes and there was only one night stand. WiFi was slow.

CONS Bed is a box spring from the 70's! Coffee was poor quality. Fireplace has a timer that goes tick tick tick real loud.the toilet backed pot was well as the bedding. Windows dirty. PROS Room did not smell like another animal.bathroom was clean.Mgr. Lacey the PIC took care of my problems.Because of her I might I sacrifice somewhat for my dog😁
Manager response:
We appreciate our guest reaching out via this review to let us know how their experience went. Due to guests leaving fireplaces on for days at a time, we will be using the timer function for the foreseeable future. The toilet is currently working, and we will work on replacing this bed in the future. Thank you!

The view was amazing, we could lay in bed and watch the ocean! But the bed was incredibly uncomfortable and the drain in the tub was very slow, and that was after you could get the stopper to stay up. Other than that no complaint! It was very clean and I really appreciated some makeup wipes that were left for us!

Spacious and tidy room. Warm gas fireplace and nicely updated bathroom. You can see the ocean from the balcony, but would need to be on higher floors for a more stunning view. The sound of the waves was plenty strong for nice background noise. Would definitely stay again- no fuss easy in easy out accommodation.

Loved the location and ease of booking. Did not like that our thermostat didn’t work and also the last night our smoke detector kept going off. The maintenance man came out and quickly changed the battery which was awesome but it did not solve the problem. And it was already past 10:30 and the maintenance man was gone.

While this is not a "five star" hotel the Sandstone is the perfect beach getaway. The room felt like a little studio apartment. The view was amazing and Lacey who I think is the manager, was super sweet when I called at 930pm with a TV problem. The hotel is nestled in a little neighborhood area where I was able to walk my dog and take some great pics of the view of the ocean. I will definitely rent here on my next trip. A true gem!

I was worried, with the reviews being very back and forth, that the room was going to be disappointing. But when we opened the door we were happily greated by a room that was exactly what they told us it would be. We stayed at the seahorse building on the first floor. It was very nice, clean, and had a great view from the balcony. The queen bed was a bit hard, but not terribly uncomfortable. The only issue we had, was that the room was very hot, even though the heat was not on. We discovered that the fireplace was constantly putting off heat, even though It was also turned off. But the issue was easily rendered by keeping the sliding door open, which was nice, since we were close enough to hear the waves crashing on the shoreline. Having no kitchen was also a non issue for us (we knew there was no kitchen when we booked the room), we just ate out, which allowed us to try a lot of new places in the area.

We were also located very close to several beach access points which was great for exploring the surrounding area and wondering on the beach.

Overall, we were very pleased with our room, and the experience. It was exactly as advertised, and we loved it. I would absolutely stay there again.

We encountered a flat tire on our vehicle while we checked out. It was Sunday so no tire centers were open. We had to wait for the tow truck, and the house keeping staff was so kind as to let us use the bathroom while we waited for the tow.
Nice view, clean room. Next time I would get a larger unit. But overall nice stay.

Advertised as a king bed, it's a queen, no dresser. Outdated decor in the room. One coffee cup had dried coffee in the bottom. Used shampoo bottle in the shower. Timer for the fireplace was very loud. Wood steps to dog area unsafe. Trash below our balcony. Area around laundry messy. Pathway lights down to street below didnt work. The walk back from the beach is strenuous and the transition from the road onto the beach is downright dangerous. Only did that once. Overall I'd grade it a C- only because the view was decent.
Manager response:
To confirm, the bed is advertised as queen size. The property manager will address adding new coffee cups. Thank you.

View was very limited, no beach access, hard bed.

Another amazing weekend in Lincoln City and surrounding areas. It would not be the same without Vacasa because of their amazing prices and location of their properties along with the amenities that are included. Will continue to stay every time and have recommended many friends already! Thank you!

Property is very mediocre. Frequent travelers will struggle with the quality of the bed. It was very uncomfortable. Nice fire place and view of the oceans as descent.

For a quick weekend getaway with a price that can't hardly be beat the stay was great. Clean room, and for a first floor condo it had a decent view. I would stay here again.

Beautiful beach, wonderful room, fantastic good within walking distance. Dogs doesn't get any better! I thought I had died and gone to heaven when I realized from the bath tub I could see the ocean, the fire place and watch a movie on TV all at the same time! :-) Thank YOU!
