Endlessly charming in its ocean view location, its picturesque exterior, and its stately and elegant interior decor, this beautiful home in the heart of Port Orford offers a one-of-a-kind experience on the spectacular Southern Oregon Coast. Take in serene views of the ocean and the nearby bluffs from your spacious, sun-splashed deck, or walk one and a half blocks to the sandy beach for an even closer view of the water. Spend summer days in the lovely garden and outdoor spaces, where you can picnic in the sunshine, relax with a good book beneath the arbor, and admire a variety of coastal flora on both sides of the white picket fence. As you come indoors from the beach each afternoon, you can toss your swimsuits in the private washer/dryer, settle in for a soak in one of the three clawfoot bathtubs, and bask in the warmth of the sunroom as you nap on the day bed or play a game of cards at the table. The living spaces are accented by richly hued woods, beautiful antiques, and three comfortable queen bedrooms that ensure a wonderful night's sleep.

This very old house was a lot of fun with a lot of nooks and crannies for our girls to find. The house was well stocked and in a great location close to the beach. Thumbs up.

The location is close to the beach. The house is huge. Its quirky and vintage. Appreciated the huge collection of books.

None of the bathrooms (3 such on the second floow) have showers, they all have clawfoot tubs.

The master bedroom has a WC and tub in the open, without a door separating the bed from the rest. It is a quirky design for sure, something that isn't visible in the pictures. I would have appreciated pictures of this master bedroom design.

While the kitchen has a stocked pantry, the equipment is really old (oven and dishwasher were hard to use)

The door to backyard wouldn't open, so we had to go around the house at all times to access it.

It was cost-effective since we were 6 of us. If not, I dont think I'd find this value for money.
Manager response:
Saranyaa, thank you for staying with us! We appreciate your feedback and apologize for any confusion regarding the home's layout or amenities. We do attempt to be as transparent as possible and have up-to-date photos, a virtual tour of the home, current amenities list, and a description so guests can make an informed choice about what they are paying for and make the right decision for their needs. The home is equipped with most original doors and hardware, and the dishwasher is dated but functional. Our local property caretaker did confirm that all doors, including the door to the backyard, are functioning properly. We do have instructions posted above the oven to assist with its use. We encourage guests to reach out to our 24/7 line with any questions or concerns, as we are happy to help. We hope we may have the opportunity to host and impress you in the future!

I loved how private and roomy the house was ,so many rooms to pick from to just read a book watch a movie or just enjoy a cup of tea in the sun room or even relax on the day bed in sun room. The kitchen was beautiful to prepare meals in. And loved how each bedroom could have there own bathroom and tub, not to mention the jet tub downstairs. The Jefferson House is definitely a favorite. Will definitely be back.

Close to agate beach. Battle rock beach right down the road. Had a great time.
