Great location between Jackson and the south entrance to the park. Don't have to deal with the traffic jams in town every evening. Best views of anywhere I've stayed out here so far. Overall great place. Would definitely stay here again.

House has an incredible view! Area was quiet, saw a red fox, many deer in the yard. Beds comfortable, great library for reading next to the fire. Easy access to Jackson and National Parks. Really enjoyed our stay, it was perfect!

Quiet, pretty, well-maintained neighborhood of ~20 large townhouses, comfortable beds and very homey - books, games, a little desk with tape, scissors, highlighters etc (which I actually needed and was delighted to be able to borrow) that suggest the owners use their own place too. Not like some rentals that are very austere. Golf Creek is a great place to stay - very easy 6 mile drive to town, but you enjoy the tranquility and grandeur of the national parks. Saw moose while walking one evening, and plenty of deer. And if you rent this place you'll learn why it's named the Director's Cabin. Would definitely stay here again,

We're in love! Definitely not the first people to arrive at the Director's Cabin and wish we could live here, forever. Everything about this place is magic. From the design, to the furnishings, to the western/patriotic themed decor... to the view. I mean, the view is off the charts! We feel like we are living in a dream. Everything inside is designed to compliment and enhance the surroundings and that view. Closing the blinds to sleep is such a shame. The cabin lies down a private road, tucked away in the trees - a hidden gem among other multi-million dollar ranches and homes. Being only a 12 minute drive from town and all the shopping, cafes, boutiques, galleries and options for dining was a daily delight. Just a short drive up the road in the other direction lie the entrances to both GTNP and Yellowstone and all their unmatched wonder. Can't say enough about the professionalism of Courtney and Mountain Property Management, the pre-arrival communication, the warm welcome pack, the condition and location of the cabin, and all the amenities. We started planning our next vacation here before we even left. This place feels like home, or at least what home ought to feel like. We'll be back again, for sure.

Very relaxing enjoyable property to stay while visitingTeton National Park. The condo was very clean quite and comfortably furnished The grounds are very well maintained and clean. Away from the crowds of Jackson and very confident to the park. Will definitely stay again on our next visit to the Tetons. Meow from the condo is incredible

Another wonderful time spent in Jackson. The condo was clean, had everything we needed and the location worked well for us, 3 adults. Our last night there we were treated to a bison parade across the field! A lovely view of the Tetons and quiet. We spent our time in both GTNP and Yellowstone. MPM Courtney was very professional in setting up our stay after an initial cancellation due to Covid19. Overall an enjoyable stay!

I hate to write this review because now everyone will want to reserve this unit. Every room has floor to ceiling windows with views of the mountains. We enjoyed the Moose that made her daily visit and the family of deer that came by twice a day. It started with 2 deer and by the end of our stay it was 8. The unit is away from town, half way between town and the airport. The management company did a great job on everything and they plowed the snow and kept the walkways clean as needed. We had a couple of feet of snow on the ground and it snowed quite abit while we were there to make many post card moments.

We quickly realize why it is called The Director's Cabin. The owner is a former Director of the National Parks Service. The furnishings make you feel like you are in someone's comfortable and well-loved western home. Rustic furnishings, lots of sculpture and hanging art work, and the Director's National Parks Service memorabilia everywhere. We loved our view of the Tetons on clear days. Every morning was spent with a cup of coffee, while in a comfortable chair, and looking out from the two walls of windows in the living area to the Tetons. The property is located in a golf course community of two unit attached homes. There is an attached adjacent unit, so likely to not be as private when the neighbors are in town. We were the only occupants of the entire community, difficult to play golf in several feet of snow. The property staff kept the roads plowed every day and even shoveled our walk to the door. Easy access to the airport and a short drive to Jackson and the ski slopes. It was cold and snowy outside but we were warm and toasty inside. Mule deer and the local fox were out neighbors for the week. Our only regret was that the Director was not there to share coffee and stories of his time running the National Ps.arks Service. The property management staff made everything easy to come and go, and they were ready to help with any requests. And lots of fresh powder on the slopes all week made for great skiing. Be sure to get to the local hockey team game in Jackson during your visit, cheer the team on with the boisterous fans, and share a beer and pizza between periods with some of the players.

Directors Cabin located just outside Grand Teton Park near Moose. Less than a mile to airport, close to National Park and town. Comfortable home filled with memorabilia from former National Parks Director. Can’t say enough about the view. Large picture windows facing the Teton Range. Nice deck with grill.

It's a wonderful little house with huge views of the Tetons from the living room and the main bedroom. The house is only a few minutes from the airport and about 12 minutes from the center of Jackson, and convenient to hiking in the national park and other areas. The management company was very responsive and helpful.
Chris James .Jul 2019
We couldn't imagine a better place to stay in this area. The house was clean and had all the comforts of home. The view was amazing. Mule deer and Moose in the yard. We will for sure be back.

Everlasting Majestic Zen mode. For the last ten years, my husband and I find ourselves traveling to the midwest for 10+ days at a time, and this cabin and prime location is perfect. After riding the motorcycle for two days, and arriving at this breathtaking views, we opted to just 'be' the day after. The layout of the Golf Creek Ranch, it's Manager, and Mountain Home Property's hospitality were top notch. We are fortunate to have experienced this - as once you stay here, you'll realize this grand nation has so much nature and peace to offer. Thank you.

Cabin is wonderfully furnished. And, there aren’t words to adequately describe the view. Would return in a heartbeat.

Lovely cabin in a quiet location, but close to everything. Had everything we needed. Mountain Properties was very responsive when we had a heating issue. Would definitely recommend to anyone going to Jackson Hole. We will be coming back!

The Director’s Cabin was the best stocked cabin we’ve rented anywhere! The kitchen (and the rest of the house)has absolutely everything you need. The view is spectacular!

Lovely view. Nice neighborhood. Too many personal items for rental unit. Only complaint was the kitchen smelled of fried bacon. Toaster oven would not shut off. Could be a fire issue.
Randall Martin .Aug 2017
It was a honor to stay at the Director's Cabin. The views of the Tetons, cleanliness, location and the calm and quiet was remarkable. Thanks to the Walkers for sharing their home with us.
Donna Deleeuw .Jul 2017
Location of cabin was amazing. Views of the mountains were GRAND out of the windows and from the deck. Kitchen was well equipped, all appliances worked well. Plenty of history and info available on the area. Management company responded to our request for a foam addition to the beds as they were very stiff and the master has a groove in it. Great showers and water pressure. Fast internet service. Furniture was well worn and uncomfortable.

Great trip with great accommodations. Plan to rent there again.
