We loved this house - it was perfect for our family. Our group consisted of my family of 4 (me, husband and 2 boys) and my mom and stepdad. We basically had our own wings - were never disturbed by each other at night or in the morning. The hot tub is great. Neighborhood is quiet and you can walk to Russian Gulch. The deck is great for a morning yoga practice. Would stay here again for sure.

Location was great, no neighbors around, great for relaxing. Home had great amenities, pool table, hot tube, and BBQ grill. If we come back to the area, will look up to stay at this home again.

The house was more than advertised and perfect! It was huge and spacious allowing us to space out when we needed to and come together easily as well. The kitchen is huge and spacious making it easy for multiple people to be in there preparing food. It is also well stocked with plenty of dishes/silverware/glasses and things to cook. The rooms are all large offering plenty of comfortable beds as well as additional Cots and sleeping areas. The 4 bathrooms all have showers and are well stocked with hair dryers, soap and shampoo. The hot tub and pool are great extras that were enjoyed in the evenings. The WiFi signal is very good and allowed 4 of us to work remotely while my 6 year old did her distance learning in the mornings without any problems. The house has a very “homey” and comfortable feel which made it easy to relax and enjoy our stay. An added bonus - deer and wild turkeys almost every morning on the lawn. We will definitely return!

This property was perfect! The house is huge and there is plenty of room for everyone. The pool table was a huge plus! I can’t tell you how many games were played but it was in almost constant use. The kitchen was big enough to have kids and adults cooking together without over-crowding the space. The bedrooms are spacious and there are 4 full bathrooms. At night you can sit outside and see the Milky Way. It’s peaceful and you can hear various animals, both day and night. We were excited to see a dozen turkeys, 2 young bucks, and a rabbit in the yard one morning. * The walk to the beach in Russian Gulch State Park is about a 15 min walk (or you can drive in and pay $8 for the day). If you drive in it takes about 3 mins and you can hike the trails later that same day. We enjoyed the beach for about 2 hrs, went back for lunch and then back to hike to the 26ft waterfall. Very long hike but totally worth it. If you have small children and plan to do the hike, I recommend bringing a carrier.

This house was perfect for my large family: wife, eight children ages twenty four to four, daughter in law and three grand-kids ages one to four. We loved the two master suites. There was a comfortable place for everyone to sleep, the kitchen layout was such that three people can cook easily without bumping into each other and the dining area sat everyone easily. We particularly enjoyed the large living room and the pool table was in use the entire time. There are four kid friendly beaches within five minutes drive: Russian Gulch, Caspar, Jughandle and Big River and when we weren`t enjoying that we loved just hanging around this pretty house enjoying the atmosphere and the views. Mendocino is just a short run for morning coffee and pastries at Goodlife Cafe and Fort Bragg just a little further for bigger shopping trips, pizza from D`Aurilio`s or ice cream at Cowlick`s. This house is perfect for a large family or multiple families. It is just what you want for a week on the coast - quaint, comfortable and roomy.
